"Thank you again Ms. Housewright, really." I say as a student drops some coins into the jar, sitting next to me.

"I love children working toward a cause." Ms. Housewright says cracking a smile at me. "Plus, thank the liberian. Ms. Wells is the one who really got people's attention about what you wanted. Everyone loves her, so it's not surprise. Especially our staff."

"Weird, I had no idea who she was until now. Well I knew she was the liberian but not much about her. Not even her name." I mumble with my face heating up a little from embarrassment.

"Not your fault, this is your first year after all." she says getting up from the table. "You should probably move on to the cafeteria now, while people are here in the library I'm sure there's more in the cafeteria."

"But Farley may see." I say sighing as I grab the jar getting up also, and thank Ms. Wells as I see her come by to the desk.

"I'm surprised you've hid it from him this long. Don't the rest of you and his friends know?" she asks walking to the doors as I follow.

"Yes ma'am, but they are very good at keeping secrets. Well at least I think so." I say and she laughs shaking her head.

"Well how long does your pass say you can stay out?" she asks putting her hand out.

"Urm...I thought all lunches. It's easier for me to collect money, I get the most during these times verses the beginning of school and after it." I say checking my pockets for the pass.

"Today is the last day you're raising money right?" she asks as I finally find my pass and hand it to her.

"I'm raising money as long as I can, pretty much till the end of this year. But I think the principal said they would set up a program so this could keep going even if I'm not exactly trying to raise money anymore." I explain as she hands the pass back.

"Well good luck then." she says before waving goodbye and walking the direction of the teacher's lunch room.

I patiently waited the whole day. While this isn't the last day I would be collecting money I wanted to know what I could make in a week or so (longer). So at the end of the day I would hear the results over the announcements. But I wanted to tell Farley about it before that happened- maybe. I wasn't sure if I should just let the announcements do the job or just tell him myself.

So at the end of the day, instead of going to my history class I would be going to see Farley. I told my teacher I needed to see Ms. Housewright, she even gave me a pass. Which that wasn't a lie, and Farley would be there too. Ms. Housewright was in the band classroom packing equipment and instruments up. Farley and some other students were doing the same.

"He-" before I can finish my greeting, Ms. Housewright stops me from going over to Farley, and brings me over to her piano.

She practically sat that more than her desk. I was a little confused from her action, making my mind jumble up everything I was focused on.

"Sorry about that, I can call Farley over." she says taking a seat and I nod a little as she does so. "I hope you're prepared to work, and that you let your teacher know it may take all hour."

"Uhh..I don't remember telling him the last part. Sorry." I say smiling at her awkwardly as she sighs.

"Girl grab my laptop, Farley is busy so I may just have to call him over again. Don't go over where they are working though." she explains as I nod while going over to her desk.

"How come though?" I ask grabbing her laptop, and walk back over handing it to her.

I almost forgot what my main purpose was for being there. Ms. Housewright put me straight to work. I was so focused on seeing who paid to actually keep their instrument, that I didn't pay attention to the time. Finally I glanced at it and realized it was only a few minutes before the bell would ring for school to be over. I quickly got up, almost knocking over the laptop. Thankfully I hadn't, or that would have been a lot of money to pay. I was about to make my way over to Farley but Ms. Housewright stopped me.

"Please come over here Farley!" Ms. Housewright bellows over her shoulder, before giving me a look. "I told you not to go over there."

"Sorry ma'am." I mumble as Farley stopped what he was doing, and made his way over to us.

She was being so secretive. It must have dealt with our field trip. No fair Farley got to know and the others that were helping him. I was itching to know more, but that isn't important right now.

"Hey..what's up?" Farley asks quirking an eyebrow, looking between us.

"I have some news to share with you." I say pulling him to the side. I felt something interrupting inside me, my cheeks rising with it.

"Well, share it." he says and I clear my throat, trying to add some suspense.

"I set up a little program fund to grow trees around here! And some at the park. Also anywhere else that is in need of some trees here." I explain while going through my brain to pull out all the information I have. "Maybe even out of this area, this state! It all depends on how much money was raised. But this program will continue the next year and even after I gradu- oof!" his arms wrapped around me, pulling me into his chest quickly.

I wasn't ready for the impact, or any of these actions. I went silent as my face burned. He hugged me tight laughing a little. I stood there, then squirmed a little before hugging back a little. And gave him a little pat on the back.

"Ah! Sorry.." he says pulling back and wipes his face. "Just...thank you." he says and I nod with a small smile.

"No need to than-" before I could finish the intercom went on.

"Alright for starters... For the Grow A Tree Program that was recently made, it was only going on for a week. And has earned sixty-five, three hundred and forty-eight thousand!" is announced over the intercom.

Everyone looks at me, only Farley was the only one to not know about this. Now he knew, and the look he gave me I could tell meant he was probably gonna hug me again. And this time I was ready for one- I think.
