Thirty Eight
Jordan
"Tea? Coffee? You hungry? We've got loads of breakfast! Juice? Orange or apple? I think we have pineapple too! How about some snacks? Fruit? Junk? We've got biscuits and crisps and-"
"Jordan. ." She sighed, running her hand through her soft hair. She licked her lips and met my eyes. I bit my bottom lip nervously, taking a seat on the other chair.
Cameron's hand slipped off her round stomach, clasping together on her lap. "I'm pregnant. . .clearly. Can you please say something?"
I rubbed my hands together anxiously, staring at the beautiful woman in shock. She was so hot! Everything about her was sexy! But I couldn't think like that. I could barely breathe.
There was no way, I, Jordan, was a baby daddy.
"How?" I bursted out, my eyes wide as I stared at her. "I don't understand!"
Cameron licked her lips once more and shrugged softly, sighing. "Well, when you and I met in France after I lost my tour bus, we spent that whole night together, remember? A-And you used a condom the first couple of times but then we did it in the morning again and. . .I don't remember you putting one on. . ."
"I always wear a condom!" But then I thought for a moment, hesitating. I thought of the long night we had together in that French hotel all those months ago. I groaned loudly, burying my head in my hands.
"I didn't wear a condom. I forgot."
"I know."
Sighing deeply, I ran my hand through my hair, my head to my fist as I stared at her, my eyes going down to my stomach. "It's. . .mine? Are you sure?"
She nodded, her hand going back to her stomach. "Yes. .it can only be yours. . ."
"How do you know that?" I seriously asked, not wanting to be mean but I didn't want to believe in the wrong thing.
She hesitated before confessing, "you took my virginity, Jordan."
Shaking my head, I exhaled in shock, rubbing my eyes. Licking my lips, I pondered for a moment.
Me. A father?
A baby.
I had always seen other people around me settling down and having a family. No lie, I loved children but I wasn't ready to have one - definitely not. I was a player, a bachelor. I wanted a relationship however I also wanted fun.
A baby held so many responsibilities that a person like me couldn't handle with. A baby ruined everything. I was a dad and I didn't even know how I felt. Did I want the baby? I couldn't just leave Cameron and my child.
I had to man up. I made the mistake of forgetting so I had to deal with the mistake. The mistake that was ours.
"I didn't want to abort the baby because I wanna keep it and be a mother," Cameron explained, her eyes intently on me. "I don't mind being a single mother, I don't exactly have anyone to support me but I'm fine on my own, that's how I survive so if you don't want a part in raising this baby, say it now because I don't need a man coming in and out of my baby's life. I told you because you deserve to know but just tell me if you're gonna run for the hills or be a father."
I stared at her beautiful face and I thought about our night in France - our Paradise like night in Paris all those months ago. Then I moved my eyes down at the stomach hiding the growing baby within that was mine.
My baby.
"I'm not gonna run for the hills."
Cameron sighed as if she didn't believe me. "I made a mistake sleeping with you. You're a player and you mess around, not settling down. This baby is no joke, Jordan. I want my baby to have a normal life, better than mine. Are you gonna be committed?"
I stood, walking over to her and kneeling in front of her. I bit my lip, my hand going out and touching her stomach. I closed my eyes slowly, my hand slowly rubbing her stomach. "How far along are you?"
"Couple of months," she vaguely replied. I opened my eyes and she handed me a piece of paper. I turned it over and my eyes expanded as I stared at the ultrasound scan in front of me. A small smile spread across my face as I stared at the baby in front of me. My baby.
"You didn't make a mistake. I'm going to be a part of my baby's life," I seriously told her, my hand on her stomach. She stared down at me, the emotion in her eyes indescribable. "I will be there for every scan, the delivery, first walk, first word, first smile, every sport activity, every school day, parties, prom, graduation, even dates! I will be committed to our baby, Cameron. Don't ever think that I won't. I'll never let this baby down."
Then a small smile formed on her radiant face as she studied mine. "Okay," Cameron softly said, her eyes twinkling as they gazed into mine. She placed her hand over mine on our stomach. I sincerely gazed into her eyes.
I leaned in slowly and pressed my lips against hers, softly kissing her. She kissed me back gently, our lips moving smoothly in sync. She pulled away and sighed, shaking her head. "I don't know if I can be something with you, Jordan. I think we should focus on co parenting and getting ready for the baby."
"Okay," I respectfully said to her, although I was wishing inside that I could have another taste of her cherry lips. I locked eyes with her once more and her breath hitched, her cheeks still blushed. "I will read books, go to classes, practice. I won't let you or the baby down, Cameron."
She smiled at me, our hands still on her stomach.
"Oh, and," I started, a coy smile on my face, "I'm gonna buy a house, build a nursery and also,"
"I'm gonna make you fall for me."
Cameron bursted out laughing, shaking her head and smiling beamingly at me. "Seriously? You're still full of jokes."
I shook my head, grinning from ear to ear. "I'm not joking. We're gonna fall in love, beautiful angel."
She laughed once more, her smile bringing light in my heart. "Okay. Let's bet on that."
I wasn't joking at all. That night was not just for sex. I loved my time with Cameron, not just screwing her. She was kind and funny and I wanted to turn her pessimistic heart made by her hard life, into a optimistic one. I had feelings with her and I wanted something with that woman.
"Why are you wearing pink?" I asked her, a feeling in my heart.
She smiled, rubbing her stomach and answering, "she's gonna be a daddy's girl. We're having a little princess."

Rose
"What is he hiding?" I muttered, sighing in frustration as I continued to rummage around in the drawers, opening and shutting empty opens and bringing out every single document that I could see.
Paid bills
Receipts
Bank statements
Boxing regulations
Car information
Legal documents
"Urgh! What is that sexy ass man hiding?" I groaned in frustration, throwing away another document on the ground in anger.
"A lot of things."
I gasped loudly in shock, flinching in surprise. Turning, I faced one man I thought would not be back so soon.
"Cristiano. . ." I breathed out, still on my knees on the floor. I pulled a strand of my long hair behind my ear.
Nervousness ran through me, I bit my bottom lip, my heart racing in my chest.
He walked over, sitting opposite me and looking into my eyes. He looked cleaner; his hazel eyes were normal once more, no bloodshot, no red eyes. He wore a Levi white shirt with some jeans. His hair was actually combed for once. It looked as though he made an effort to look good.
He took my hand and I hesitated a little before letting him hold it. I bit my bottom lip hard, nervous.
"Rose, I. . .I thought I had Bronchiectasis."
I stared at him, trying my best to seem sympathetic although I had no idea what the hell he had just said.
He licked his lips and added, "a lung disease."
"Oh. . ." I softly said, blinking a few times and taking in what he had just said. "Ohh! A lung disease! Are you okay?"
"I'm fine. It was just a scare but I'm never smoking again," he answered, his hazel eyes locking with mine. My breath hitched and I averted my eyes away, staring at our hands.
"And I know, that doesn't justify why I acted out," Cris added, his voice so smooth and warm. "But I got into a bad business deal and things just went rocky. I'm still trying to fix it but right now. . .I have to fix things with you. You're the number one person in my life."
"Oh," I bitterly said, "doesn't feel like it. Okay, you had a health scare; doesn't mean you had to be so horrible to me and the idiots. I was even considering breaking up with you. You don't see me screaming at you unless it's important. I'm not letting another man hurt me, Cristiano."
He nodded slowly. Sighing, he responded, "I know, babe, I know-"
"Do you?" I asked challengingly, raising an eyebrow. "Because I don't think you do."
"I do. I'm sorry, Rosalia," Cristiano sincerely told me before opening a drawer and pulling out a large box. He placed it in front of me and I hesitated before opening it, lifting the lid off.
I pulled out the bouquet of roses carefully and examined them, each of the real flowers perfectly reddened to the crimson shade that I loved. I kept a neutral look on my face though inside I was smiling.
I placed them on the ground before taking out all of my favourite chocolates and examining them too before taking out the photos of Cris and I. There were a variety of them that I didn't even know that we had. I placed them down after gazing at them, thinking about our relationship.
Sighing softly, I met his eyes before leaning in and wrapping my arms around him, hugging him tightly. He pulled me onto his lap so I was straddling him and held me in his comforting arms.
"I'm still annoyed at you," I muttered, inhaling his scent that eased me. Chuckling, he held me tighter, kissing my temple. "Good. I deserve it and I'm gonna do everything I can to make it up to you, my Queen. I lied. There was no thot."
"Good, dick. You better make it up to me," I murmured, burying my head in his neck. "I forgive you because I love you but you've gotta stop taking advantage of my kindness, Cris. I'm not a doormat."
"I love you."
"I love you too."
Then I closed my eyes and let him hold me, embracing the calm silence. Peacefully, I exhaled, snuggling close to him and I thought nothing was going to ruin our moment until he said, "I'm hungry."
I sighed softly. "There's some leftover breakfast, wanna eat?"
He pulled away and met my eyes, lifting my chin. "No, baby, I'm hungry."
"Yes. I heard you the first time."
I looked into his eyes and a playful smirk came onto his handsome face.
"So. ."
"So. . ."
He looked into my eyes before slowly moving his down to my cleavage. He licked his lips slowly, his hazel eyes running back up to my eyes.
"How's it going down there?"
My face scrunched up and I playfully slapped his chest, rolling my eyes as he grinned, a large smirk spread across his handsome face.
"It's been months," I replied. As I stretched, my cleavage caught his attention and he licked his lips hungrily gazing at me, making me giggle. "I'm good."
He scooped me up and once I opened my eyes, I was suddenly underneath him on the bed, my heart thumping as he gazed lustfully in my eyes.
"Why am I always underneath?" I whispered, my hands sliding up to his chest, pushing him softly and he moved, his back on the mattress.
I salaciously gazed at him, my tongue sweeping over my lips ever so slowly, catching his attention.
"Ride me then."
