☾┋ 𝔞𝔲! 𝔳𝔞𝔪𝔭𝔦𝔯𝔢 𝖉𝖔𝖈𝖙𝖔𝖗 

➳ 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧 4

A lot of activities happened during the team building. Time ticked and soon the night was young. All of the staff circled around a huge bonfire. Couples and people who were building romances sat next to eachother. Junho, holding a towel, approached Aera, slowly covering her back with the fabric since she was feeling chilly because of her bikini. She turned back to look at him, patting the seat beside her as she signals him to sit next to her.

"Thanks." She mumbled, her lips slowly smiled warmly.

"Yeah. No prob." Avoiding eye contact, he uttered as he cleared his throat.

"Announcement everyone. In partnership with the Military Organization in Myanmar, we will be offering our service for one month and we need medical volunteers who specialize in physical and internal medicine. We are also looking for surgeons! But if you're still willing to join even if your specialization doesn't fit in the requirements, you can still volunteer!" Director Jung Jim stood in the middle, delivering his piece.

"I volunteer." Without hesitation, Aera raised her hands.

"Congratulations, you just earned your ticket to hell and you're one step nearer to death." Junho commented.

"Oh Junho, you should be joining me right? We're a duo!" She replied, noticing how everyone was laughing at the two of them.

"Okay, Dr. Jung since you have experiences with general surgery, you will be the head in that department. As for Dr. Kim, you will be the overall in charge for the whole medical volunteering department. I'm counting on you both."

Junho's expression changed into a more serious one as he was given another responsibility by the director.

"I guess I'm going with you then." He heaved a sigh, looking into the female's eyes.

Aera dismissing Junho's negativity, just ignored his statements,

"We're going too!" The neurosurgeon couple, Hyesoo and Youngjin, volunteered.

Other nurses volunteered, technicians and other skilled medical staff along with Gayoung signed up for the experience. Director Jung Jim was carefully taking note of it.

"So since the night is young! It's time to party! Get your drinks!" He lifted up a whole bottle of soju in the air, getting wild.

Junho hands Aera a bottle, asking her if she would like a drink. She thanked him after receiving it, taking little sips.

"Kampai!" Aera and Junho lifted their soju bottles in the air for a toast. Aera loved alcohol despite being a social drinker. Given such opportunities, she gets herself knocked out with the astonishing amount of alcohol she can handle. Usually it would take her 15 bottles to be fully intoxicated since she has a high tolerance. Junho was the same. The two indulged in a drinking battle on who could drink the most.

"I didn't know you were weak!" Aera bursted into laughter, taking her 17th bottle of soju.

"Don't try me miss!" He pulls out another bottle, quickly chugging it up.

The two enjoyed during their drinking session. There was a huge amount of empty bottles were being tossed in the bin all because of them.

Loud thumping music were playing. Dua Lipa's "One Kiss" was on repeat. The atmosphere made it feel like it was a rave club. Sweltering bodies were dancing wildly, their hips gyrating with the pulsating music. Hyesoo and Youngjin were dancing crazily.

"These doctors are wild..." Aera dismayed, rolling her eyes as she sees everyone having fun.

"Thank God, we're civilized." Junho replied.

"I agree. Hey, do you want to join me? I want to dip my feet in the water again!" She poked him, coaxing him to join her.

"Okay." Although Junho hated her guts at work, he was still open for friendships. Both stood up from their places, shaking off the grains of sand from their bottoms.

As they walk towards the shore, the shining moonlight glistened at the water while the waves continued crashing at the soft and moist sand. Sitting next to eachother, they looked up at the mysterious and majestic night sky. Beaming stars were dancing up above like diamonds twinkling as they pointed at them. Both felt the cold rush of the water as their toes started curling up.

"Wow." She mumbled sweetly, her smile radiating, bringing sparkle of felicity in her eyes.

Junho was mesmerized, he couldn't resist gazing at her chocolate brown eyes. His eyes all set on her and his stare was longer than he should have. Her smile was infectious; it was a smile that could warm the coldest hearts. Dismissing all his thoughts, he looked back at the sky, appreciating its tranquility and beauty. His lips curve into a smile as he recalls how her smile illuminated his soul at that moment.

Aera then faces him, smacking his shoulder. "Hey, You're smiling like crazy!"

"It must be the alcohol." Junho lied, taking his last sip of soju.

"Ah yeah. Hey is there a restroom around here? I think my bladder is eating me up." She scratches her nape, feeling a bit uneasy.

"It is kind of far. You see those black tents? It's 600 meters away. Do you need company? It's kind of dangerous to walk alone." His gentleman side broke out as he worries for her safety.

"I can handle myself. I'll be right back." She responded, standing up a little wobbly because she was tipsy.

"You come back for me, okay?" Junho insisted, leaving Aera nodding to his plea.

It was a ten minute walk to reach the destination. As she opens the door of the cubicle, she is abruptly disturbed by wails and cries for help. The sound was heard from the tent nearby. The loud, harsh and ear-piercing sound beckoned to her ears, causing sensations of panic and fear. She was curious and she wanted to help. As she walks towards the tent, chills were sent to her spine, bumps raising on her skin.

Taking small steps closer and peeping through the tent's opening, she sees the back of man carrying a woman in his arms, his body all smeared with blood. The man continues devouring his prey through the neck, his sharp teeth digging on her flesh, drawing all the blood into his system. He sucked in long gulps of blood, draining the victim's body of blood as he lost control. The woman who was conscious a few moments ago turned into a lifeless corpse. Aera looked at the man once more. His body seemed familiar from behind especially his stature of low height and his huge body structure. As the man slowly faced back, her brain was formulating a clear picture of him.

Just as she was about to open her mouth, she gets interrupted by that familiar voice.

"Aera." Director Jung Jim mumbled, wiping off the smudges of blood in his mouth.

She was out of words. "Uncle?" She was startled and confused, innocence was written on her face.

"I just had to do this." He scoffs.

"It's unreasonable. We vampires have stopped doing things the dirty way ages ago." Aera shook her head, disagreeing to his sentiment.

"It is never unreasonable looking out for your own kind. She is apart of the Hellsing's Vampire Hunters. They all plan to exterminate the vampires and actually they have started. Remember Rita, your second cousin? She's taken by them as a hostage. They're all planning to get us. This lady isn't the only one apart of Hellsing in the hospital. There are a lot more, I'd like to believe. I'm slowly taking my time to analyze people who seem suspicious."

"So this is your method of getting even, slowly killing these people we 'suspect'? " She raised her voice.

"It isn't a suspicion! It's real! That's why you should learn to take care of yourself. It's a man-eat-man and dog-eat-dog world. It's either you attack or you'll be the victim. "Aera, giving a blank expression, nodded to get it over with. She felt terrible in the inside, her heart was crying and she pitied the lady who died.

However being the curious person she is, she asked "So how will you dispose the body?"
