In an ominously quiet forest, the brown leaves hustled in the wind and were accompanied by the sound of trees creaking and loud chirping of insects. That was where Aera and Junho decided to have their stealth and agility training as vampires.

"Welcome to your very first vampire training with me. Today you will discover more about yourself." Aera's lips curled into a smirk, her arms crossed while she looked up to the male with the colossal height.

"Teach me, master." He suppressed a chuckle, rolling his eyes at her whilst leaning on the trunk of a maple tree.

"Since we're going to be together for the rest of our lives, we should learn to protect eachother with the powers and abilities that are bestowed upon us." She uttered.

"Alright, master. What do I have to do first?"

Aera gave him a weird look, her palms resting on her forehead upon hearing him jokingly call her "master". Pointing at the large boulder beside, she gestured. "Break it."

"I haven't been making use of these powers lately so..." He started making excuses since he hasn't been utilizing his vampiric energy recently.

"Hush.  Now kick."  She cut his speech halfway with her orders.

With minimal effort, landing a kick with his stiff and rock-hard legs, he broke it completely. Generally, a vampire has supernatural strength that may withstand ten bodybuilders.

Amazed by the turnout of the events, he chuckled. "Am I strong enough to protect you now?"

"Eh... You still have a long way to go. You have unlocked the first key and that is the key of undeniable herculean strength. The next concept you have to understand is how a vampire is invulnerable to death. We all are immortals, that from time to time need to hibernate, however due to the presence of the Aspivarix drug created by Hellsing, it changed history. "

"Interesting. Tch." He clicked his tongue, eyebrows wiggling due the piece of information given to him.

On the muddy path where they trailed, her sharp eyes gawked into the piece of glass shard in the soil. "Junho, pick that glass up and give it to me." She ordered as he quickly complied with her request, lowering himself to pick it up whilst handing it to her right after.

Performing the unexpected act of slitting her wrist deeply and wide open,  she took the glass shard grazing it over her milky white skin, his eyes grew wider and his jaw dropped.

"What the hell are you doing?!" He swiftly ran to her, taking the glass shard away from her hands and dropping it on the floor.

"You're so silly. Grr! Just watch me. " She pinches his ears, acting carefree as if her wrists were not slit open, not feeling any excruciating pain.

After a few minutes, piece by piece, her skin regenerated with another layer as it appeared untainted and flawless. "Uh..."He blinks his eyes consecutively, noticing that he was worrying over nothing.

"So you have unlocked the second key. Would you want to try it, too? " Turning her head to face him, she gave him a look of wonder.

"No thanks." Junho shook his head. He had enough of cutting and operating people in the hospital thus slugging off her offer.

A wild trail of interest was drawn out from his brain as he spoke with a clear thought. "But I have a question. What would happen if a vampire drinks another vampire's blood?"

"Hmm... a good question. Folktales would say that both of the vampires would die however it does nothing.  Do you want to give it a shot? Come to me." She gulped, tensing up as she noticed the hunger in his eyes.

It would be Junho's first time to taste blood and Aera's first experience of sharing blood. In the vampire world, only mates share blood since blood-sharing is personal.

Without even thinking twice, he pushed her into a position where she'd lay her back flat on the spiny old maple tree, both of his arms  were pinning her against the bumpy surface, his soulless eyes lowered into hers.  Starting off, he nuzzled his nose on the crook of her neck as a loving and teasing gesture before fully burying his razor edged teeth in her snow-whipped skin, tugging his lips on her neck to consume all the blood.

"Ah baby, you taste so good." He lavished on the taste of sheer paradise on his lips, sucking even more on her neck to savor more of the addicting blissful flavor of blood that brought him to a new universe called Utopia. "Mhmm..." Aera whimpered as he pressed his lips harder on her neck. To give him more access, she moved her hair to the other side exposing her neck.

Footsteps were heard approaching their direction however Junho didn't stop relishing on her neck. A familiar voice muttered "Shame on you two, getting really intimate in a public place." Seojun cleared his throat, dazed as he was welcomed by the view of Junho sucking on Aera's neck.

Aera pushed Junho away out of bewilderedness, replying "Oh you finally came, Seojun!" She rubbed her temple due to secondhand embarrassment.

Junho wiped off the blood from his mouth, glaring at Seojun. "You invited this punk?"

"And is there a problem?" She turned back to look at Junho, her eyebrows elevated giving him a look of surprise.

"You guys sure know how to hurt me by flirting in front of my salad. Be grateful, Junho since Aera let you drink her blood. In the vampire world, blood-sharing is intimate and it means two vampires will share an infinite bond that would withstand vicissitudes of life." Seojun went up to him, stroking his back to annoy him more.

Junho hissed, removing Seojun's hand from his body. "So why are you here?"

"Well Aera invited me so that I'd teach you the basics since this is my forte after all. I was once a bodyguard and former detective of Death's Covet. I will help you unleash the best out of your spirit." Seojun replied.

It was a slap on Junho's face to be mentored by his competitor however he humbly accepted his defeat in this aspect. "Okay, bring it on."

The rest of the late afternoon was a riot spent as they ran around dirty and muddy trails in the deep dark forest. The three of them had a race on who would reach the top of the mountain first. Dauntless as they are, their superhuman powers helped them climb large trees and jump across exhaustive borders. Aera and Seojun reached their first, making fun of the sight of the conceding Junho.

"You're improving now! Look at our baby Junho, you have grown up!" She ran to him to mess up his hair, seeing how he was panting heavily after the strenuous training.

"Tch. Whatever." He dismissed her thoughts, being cranky as usual.

Seojun who was busy ignoring the lovebirds,  took his phone out as he read a news article with a headline entitled  "Burmese Fugitive lingering in the City of Seoul".  It triggered his curiosity so he continued feeding his brain with the information from the article.

"Guys! There is a Burmese escapee who is lurking around Seoul and the media is asking help to find him." Junho and Aera were curious to know the details of the news so they scooted nearer to Seojun for them to be able to read through the small screen of his phone.

"Son Hoshi, a convenience store merchandiser was brutally stabbed fifteen times by the Burmese fugitive, Ma Htut.  Ma Htut, 35 years old, was a 1st lieutenant for Kachin Burma's army. With all hopes for justice, the family of Son Hoshi are asking help to find this criminal."

Gulping as they recognized who the person was, Aera and Junho faced eachother with a worrisome sigh drawn out of their lips.
