Junho and Aera started walking towards the entrance of Seoul National Hospital together, fingers tightly interlocked into eachother, reminiscent of their distant memories in this place. The sense of longingness and wistful yearning has been satisfied as their foot sets on the hospital's grounds.

"Junho, I really missed this place." She held unto his hand firmly, not ever wanting to let go.

"You're here!" The corner of his lips tug upward with a flash of his pearly white teeth.

Meandering around the vicinity, they noticed slight changes around the hospital which involved technological advancements and addition of more facilities. Aera, whose eyes were lurking around, was in search for the elevator that would lead to the Conference Hall where all the doctors are currently having a meeting.

"Junho, let's go!" She led him, tugging on his hands to move towards her direction as he replied with a brief nod.

As they finally entered the hall, the doctors, all dressed in their usual attires, were busy discussing about a patient who is diagnosed with Lung Cancer and is severely in need of surgery.

"Does it possibly need Wedge Resection? My hands are itching to operate this patient!" Junho smirked as he held Aera's hands, bringing her to the usual spot where they sit during doctor board meetings. Bewildered by the presence of Kim Junho and most of all Jung Aera, everyone's eyes widened in thunder-bolting shock.

"Is that Doctor J...Jung Aera? She's alive?!" Hyesoo's jaw dropped.

Aera gave a playful wink, waving to her with her free hand.

Mr. Andrew Kim, the new director that replaced Director Jung Jim welcomed the two of them once again into the Seoul National Hospital family. Apparently Director Jung Jim decided to turn himself over to the police after being haunted by his morality due to the previous havoc he caused.

Averting the attention back to the previous topic, the director stated that the patient had a non-small cell lung cancer.

"So basically, on which stage is the patient right now?" Listening attentively to the discussion, Aera cupped one side of her cheek with her palm, looking at the Director who was discussing in the podium.

"Stage 2 NSCLC." The director replied.

NSCLC, also known as non-small cell lung cancer, is when the lungs function abnormally and start growing out of control. As these cancer cells develop, it may cause tumor that may spread and cause disruption in the other parts of the body.

"Babe, It's Stage 2. It may need Lobectomy or if the case is worse, Pneumonectomy may be advised." Aera brushed her lips against Junho's ears, whispering softly. Lobectomy is defined as the surgical removal of the lobe of an organ. On the other hand, Pneumonectomy is the removal of a lung.

Junho looked at her, agreeing to her words as he requests to see the patient's x-ray image. "Can we see the chest radiograph or the biopsy results perhaps?" A biopsy of a lung is when a lung tissue is removed for testing and determining if the cancer cells have spread out.

The director showed the biopsy results through the slideshow of the patient which showed high levels of presence of the cancer cells. Due to the patient's vice of smoking, it triggered him to get this illness. Minutes after, he displayed the next slide where the x-ray image of the patient's lung showed cancer cells developing in the upper lobe.

"Hmm...Lobectomy indeed is needed." Junho ruffled Aera's hair, knowing she had the right prediction on what type of surgical procedure is to be done.

"Sir Andrew, please allow Dr. Kim Junho to save the patient. Rest assured, the patient will be in good hands." Aera spoke out loud.

"Alright. I'll consider this case solved since we have both the best surgeons in Korea back at our hospital! Meeting adjourned." He gave a sincere smile, full of warmth, as he went down the podium to leave the hall.

As soon as the meeting ended, Hyesoo ran to Aera, quickly wrapping her into a tight hug. "You're here. You're alive."

"Calm down, you're touching my girl." Junho rolled his eyes, pretentiously acting possessive in a flippant manner.

"This man never really changed, huh?" Rolling her eyes at his statement, Hyesoo gave Junho a bewildered gaze, holding Aera even tighter.

"He's still on his period." Laughter built up as Aera tried to suppress a chuckle, slowly breaking loose from the hug.

"I can't wait to see you guys around here again. We missed you both so much." Hyesoo added.

Junho pulled Aera by her wrist, dragging her closer to him as he slides his hands around her waist right after. "We missed you guys too. It was nice seeing you but Aera and I need to go right now. We have a date." He winked as Hyesoo reels back, leaving the two alone whilst giving a farewell wave.

As soon as work ended, they went home together to dress up since Junho booked dinner at La Yeon, an upscale Korean restaurant at Shilla Hotel to celebrate their second anniversary.

Shortly, they arrived at the destination. It was a state of the art masterpiece located at the penthouse of Shilla, a 5 star hotel in Seoul. Sophistication of the interior was evidently seen as the appropriation of the past and present were integrated through the presence of traditional Korean art hung around the walls, elegantly giving accent to the modern dining space.

Upon seeing Aera in a coquettish black tube dress, he couldn't help but look at her exposed moonlight kissed skin, her chiseled shoulder blades and her neck where he'd pamper her with alot of delicate kisses.

"Are you even human, why are you so beautiful?" Junho blinked his eyes repetitively, gazing at her ethereal beauty.

"We're both vampires." She spoke softly, blurting out sarcasm.

"Hmph. Aera, We've been through alot and honestly I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for everything you have done for me." He sends a cue to the waiter to play "Not a Bad Thing" by Justin Timberlake.

Her head span in confusion, her lashes started fluttering as she blinks repetitively upon hearing the background music. "Huh?" A confused drabble fell past her lips.

The staff came along singing to the song melodiously walking towards Aera. They gave her a bouquet of sunflowers making her confused even more, her forehead started creasing deliberately. "Junho, what is this?" Refocusing her gaze at Junho's visage.

"So don't act like it's a bad thing to fall inlove with me. Cause you might come around and find your dreams come true with me. Spend all your time and your money just to find out that my love was free. So don't act like it's a bad thing to fall inlove with me~" The chorus came in, the staffs' bodies were swaying to the beat as Junho takes out a red velvet case that contained jewelry.

Opening the bigger box, he removed a white gold pendant with a heart charm, leaning closer to her as he puts the necklace around her neck. He chuckled out a pun, "It's not such a bad thing to take our relationship to the next level right?"

A cloud of laughter escaped from Aera whose eyes crinkled at the cheesiness of Junho. Suddenly, Junho stands up, going down on one knee, facing her as he slides his free hand on his pocket to get a small red box. He pulled out a diamond ring, singing " Don't act like it's a bad thing to fall inlove with me. Will you marry me?"

For Junho, the concept of love was just a fallacy back then however it took one person to change his perspective and outlook towards this abstract notion. It took Aera.

She allowed him to put the ring on her as it fitted perfectly on her finger. Trains of thoughts lingered however she had come up with an absolute decision. "Yes! Ofcourse!" An ever-glowing smile radiated from her heart, a smile even colorful than rainbows. With their dilated irises flickering between one another's lips, their minds in sync like telepathy, they knew what they had to do.

His lips melted into hers with a familiar taste of euphoria. It was not an innocent kiss but a fervid passionate one. As his hand rested below her ear, his thumb caressing her cheek, he never wanted the kiss to end for it was an addiction he constantly tried to fight. Each lip-locking session they shared was accompanied by sweet memories he'd like to recollect.

Aera pulled away from the kiss, smiling as she said "It's not a bad thing to spend the rest of my life with you."
