However, 20-year-old Rebel Danilo Apoian doesn't want to believe in this. One day, his grandfather would appear unexpectedly to teach him about some strange aspects of becoming a Demigod. Rebel used to believe in those stories; he was certain his grandfather's statements were correct.

But when Apolaki abandons him due to the threat of war, everything just falls apart. Because of his bloody abilities, he's now suddenly being pursued by evil spirits and corrupted souls. That was something he never understood.

Ever since he was a child, ramdam na niya ang pagkakaiba niya. His dazzling golden hair and odd eye colour cause him to question who he is. Sure, he was raised as a Filipino, but his appearance was far too different from other children. 

That's because he represents the destruction that they've all been longing for. He is the destroyer, as well as a potential Nemesis. He's the destroyer and someone who's capable of becoming a Nemesis.
