"Yoongi? Wake the fuck up! Where is Hobi?" Jin shook Yoongi up, in an attempt to wake him from his slumber.

Yoongi suddenly flinched, springing back to life as he shook off Jungkook's arm that was wrapped around him.

"Huh? What happened?" Yoongi asked, still half asleep. "Kook, wake up." Yoongi put his hand on Jungkook's shoulder, shaking him.

"It's literally 2 am, I woke up and Hobi is nowhere to be found." Jin said in a worried tone.

"Maybe he went to take a piss; or did you check the kitchen?" Yoongi stood up, now aware of the situation.

"He is no where in the house." Jin's words were emphasised. Now, yoongi started to worry too.

Jungkook sat up, rubbing his eyes sleepily. Jimin woke up because of the noise too.

"What's wrong?" he asked as he also stood beside Jin who was about to go insane in panic.

"Hobi is disappeared. We have to find him. The rain hasn't stopped yet, where can he go?" Jin rambled on as he walked around the living room, anxiety was visible on his usually flawless face.

"You need to calm down. Listen! He might not have gotten very far if he wandered off into the woods, which sounds dumb as fuck, but let's just calm down and start searching for him." Yoongi said calmly but his words indicated that he was indeed serious right now.

"Are there any umbrellas or rain coats here...?" Jimin asked, taking a long pause as he looked at everyone, "maybe not." he looked away.

"Let's go," Jungkook ignored him and they all headed outside.

"Isn't it dangerous going outside in rain, that also in a dark forest at night like this?" Jimin said as they walked.

"So what? Are you gonna leave our friend out in the wild to die alone?" Jungkook snapped, feeling annoyed by Jimin's behaviour.

"Of course not, I'm just... thinking about everyone's safety." Jimin muttered.

"Fuck all that. Let's just find him quickly." Jungkook said, shutting Jimin up who didn't speak anymore and they moved forward.

"Let's split up. But you must not get lost in the forest. Don't go too far, if we don't find him around here, we should call for help." Yoongi reminded them and everyone nodded as they split up in four different directions.

The clouds were dark but the lightnings brightened up the surrounding now and then, followed by a thundering sound that could frighten any living being. The rain hadn't stopped, making the matters worse than they already were.

"Are you sure, Taehyung?" Namjoon asked him for the last time.

"I've never been this sure." his eyes were firm, posture straight, as he spoke with elegance.

"Okay, I'll tell Jiwoong to take care of the others." he said, to which Taehyung gave him a subtle nod and Namjoon walked away, almost vanishing from there because of how quick he was.

"I'll find you soon, my sweetness." Taehyung mumbled, getting ready to go out.

"Hobi hyung!" Jungkook shouted, his words getting muffled under the rain and the echo of his words faded away gradually but he couldn't see Hobi anywhere.

He continued to shout but as he neared the lake, his eyes started to shake, as if he couldn't keep them open and he kept losing focus.

"What the heck?" he shook his head, trying to get a grip on himself but instead, his own words echoed inside his mind. As if he was stuck in a frenzy, he couldn't think anything because of the constant disturbance of echoes in his brain.

"Hobi hyung?" He attempted to yell yet his voice stayed silent, "Jin hyung!" He tried to call him for help but to his dismay, he seemed to be losing control over his senses.

His sight was blurred, hands shaking like a leaf fluttering in the wind. He leaned on a nearby tree, breathing deeply, forehead creased out of confusion.

He shook his head again, the sound of his own breathing seemed louder than ever to him as everything else was fading. He gulped down his dry throat.

"Jungkook-ah! Help me, please." He suddenly heard a voice, just beside his ears, which made him alert as he turned around in a snap.

"Suga hyung? Where are you?" Jungkook looked around, searching for Yoongi.

"Jungkook-ah!" he heard it again but this time, it sounded further away from him, yet still within his hand's reach.

"Where are you?" he put all of his energy and yelled at the top of his lungs. He huffed for air, looking ahead of him, crouching down, propping his hands on his knees for support.

Just then, he could see a blurry image, more like a silhouette of someone in front of him. It seemed like it was getting further away from him.

"Hyung?" Jungkook stood up straight, walking towards the moving silhouette.

"Jk, I'm scared... the water is going to drown me in. Save me. I don't wanna die just now." his ears were ringing, but he could hear these words clearly. He was sure the voice belonged to Yoongi. He couldn't mistake that voice.

"Hyung! Don't he scared, I'm here." he said loudly, walking towards the source of the voice.

His steps were slow at first as he tried to figure out where Yoongi was, but the image of him drowning in the lake water crossed his mind and he panicked, quickly dashing towards the lake.

"Hyung!" he screamed as he could hear the water splashing everytime his feet moved. He frantically swayed his hand around him in the water, searching for Yoongi.

He didn't hear anything and then all of a sudden, the echo inside his mind disappeared. He could see clearly again.

"Suga hyung? Where is everyone?" he mumbled, looking around as he found himself inside the lake, the water rising above his waist.

"Get out!" He heard someone yell and he got yanked behind. Someone had just pulled him out of the water.

"What on earth...?" He looked at the person as he took a sigh of relief upon seeing Yoongi.

"It was an illusion." Yoongi said, breathing heavily.

"What? Where is Hobi hyung?"

Yoongi gulped, slowly shaking his head as no.

Jin and Jimin came running to them.

"Are you alright, Yoongi? Did you get hurt?" Jin inspected him, his voice laced with worry.

"Nothing happened to me!" Yoongi answered.

"Then, what I saw before.... weren't you calling me for help?" Jimin asked, looking as worried as Jin.

"You guys need to get a grip! I'm here and nothing happened to me. It was all fake!" Yoongi sounded frustrated and his words were rushed.

"What about Hobi?" Jin was the one who asked.

"I could hear him but he was no where to be found. I'm not sure if that was also an illusion or it was real." Yoongi replied, sounding defeated.

"How do you know we were experiencing illusions?" Jimin asked him, confused.

"I saw Jungkook with my own eyes. He was calling out to me, he desperately ran into the lake. I kept calling him but he wouldn't listen as if he was not on earth for the time being." he answered, his eyes distant, his mind searching for a rational reason.

"But, I saw you calling me for help, Hyung." Jungkook spoke up.

"You were tricked," Yoongi stated.

"Then why were you able to see Jungkook? Why weren't you tricked as well?" Jin asked.

"I saw the illusions too, but then it suddenly disappeared. I don't know how." Yoongi admitted truthfully.

"This forest is dangerous. What can we do now? I hope hobi is safe." Jin muttered out aloud.

"He is, indeed, safe," an unfamiliar voice could be heard near them. "for now." the voice added at the end.

They alerted themselves, scooting closer to each other.

The voice was very smooth, almost silky. It sounded deep and rich in texture. The explanation might sound stupid but the voice was really alluring.

"Who was it?" Jimin whispered, somehow getting scared.

"Fine. I'll show myself." the voice again spoke up, this time it came from behind; from the lake.

They quickly turned around, eyes frantically searching for the voice.

"Since you've made it till here, I shall introduce myself." that's when they could see him.

A very gorgeous man, slowly walked towards them. The water around his feet scurried away when he took a step forward so that his leather shoes remained dry.

His face was calm, his posture looked elegant as his hands stayed behind him, crossed at his lower back comfortably. His brown pair of eyes seemed to be glowing under the moonlight, lips slightly tugged up in a smile.

The rain had eventually stopped and now it was only a small drizzle of tiny rain drops which was negligible.

"Kim Taehyung. The owner of the land you're standing on." his eyes, for a second, looked deadly, then it transformed back to how it was before. Calm and mysterious.

All of them were stunned to the core and they dared not speak a word before this miracle of a man in front of them.

"Your friend is with me." Taehyung said, hands unfolding from behind his back as he strolled forward. "I admit; it was a mistake but not a big one. I had originally intended to abduct someone. We just happened to get the wrong person." his smile remained intact. He felt no guilt while saying all that.

"What the fuck did you do to Hobi hyung? Where is he?" Jungkook spoke up, not being able to stay quiet.

Taehyung's smile only got bigger as he looked at Jungkook.

"A little fierce, aren't you?" he approached Jungkook. "You might want to stay quiet unless you don't care about your vulnerable friend."

Jungkook gulped, standing still as he tried not to let himself shiver under Taehyung's gaze.

There was something strange about how Taehyung looked at everyone; or everything. His eyes seemed to hold something so powerful that could frighten anyone.

"What the hell are you exactly?" Yoongi asked, his eyes fixed on Taehyung as Jin and Jimin both stood behind him.

"Indeed, I am hell itself." a dark chuckle escaped Taehyung's throat as he shifted his gaze onto Yoongi.

"Let me explain properly." he took a step back. "This forest is my home, it is my territory. I own every inch of its land and have been owning it probably even before your grandfather was born. The forest listens to me, so does every living thing residing here." his eyes were cold, no emotion could be seen as his smile was long gone.

"Who am I?" he scoffed, "you've made a mistake stepping on the land of vampires." and his smile resurfaced again.

Jin's hand which was tightly held by Jungkook flinched at the mention.

They almost couldn't believe their ears and the absurd idea of vampires being a reality didn't feel real to their rational brains.

"Bullshit!" Jungkook muttered, his anger making an appearance. Taehyung looked at him sharply.

"It is upto you now. Believe me or not. If you want to save your friend, do what I say." his smooth voice echoed in the woods making it sound even deeper.
