Sat far into the wild valleys of the kingdom, Arkkukari City is quite the sight to be held for those passing by. With its tall walls to keep out the natural wildlife and other predators roaming the wild, it is said to be one of the safest and most protected locations to live within. The roadways are made of soft white stone, the buildings made of the finest brick and wood that local carpenters could find. People of all different species (vampire, werewolf, fae, etc.) and occupation live within the secure walls of Arkkukari City, thriving off its natural way of living. 

With that being said, it's the royal family's Court Guards that are the ones that keep the city streets safe from anything that would want to come and harm Arkkukari's citizens. 

Through the center of town, colorful stalls of every kind are filled with vibrant foods, glittering jewelry, and the most refined clothing one would ever see in these parts. Traders from all across the kingdom come just to sell their wares in one of the most prestigious trading hubs throughout the kingdom. If one was to be known for what they had to offer, Arkkukari would be the place to do so. 

Home bakeries speckled the streets stretching away from the center of town, a single small clinic run by the local physician sat close to the castle gates. Help between the royal family and the citizens they worked for has always been of high demand considering the doctor's skills. 

Children would run and play up and down the streets, laughter filling the air at every turn. Women and men chattered and gossiped on the daily as they continued with their daily activities, the town becoming a picture of perfection at the base of the castle gates. The castle was home to the royal family of Arkkukari City, the King and Queen watching down from high to assure the safety and well being of their people. The family itself has ruled for many years, some even going as far to say that they've been there since the beginning of Arkkukari City. 

However, Arkkukari City isn't all sunshine and gumdrops. Like any other city within the kingdom, Arkkukari has its darknesses as well. The shadows that linger just out of eyesight, waiting to pounce on their next unsuspecting victim. 

The dark corners of Arkkukari City hold the vicious secrets that speckle its streets. The thieves that wait to pounce and steal whatever goods you may have, the murderers that can't get enough of a thrill with a single person, and those that have yet to be caught by the Royal Guard and still thrive on the stagnant shadows around them. Even with the pale glow of the streets lanterns, shadows await to strike at every turn, wait to stir up the peace and test the limits of both the royal family and their court guards. The thrill of evading capture something that enraptured every dark spirit within the city.  

As hard as the Royal Guard may try, the darkness always seems to find its way into Arkkukari City, no matter how much everyone doesn't it want it to be there. Syndicates and secret societies hidden among the everyday life, threatening the safety of those around them. One day, Arkkukari City residents and royal family members plan on eradicating them completely from their streets. For now, however, they'll just have to do their best to make sure their people and streets are as safe as possible, doing what they can with the tools they have.
