Shattering sleeps
They were both silent for the few awkward seconds. "I believe you." said Emily without hesitating. Erik glanced at her with an 'are you telling the truth' face. "Emily, you-believe-me?" asked Erik, deeply looking at Emily in her eyes. "Of course, Erik. I have never given up my trust in you.....and I also need to tell you something." said Emily.
"What do you need to tell me?" asked Erik, confused. Emily slowly reached out her arms to the curtains and opened them as wide as she could, letting the moonlight shine on her. Erik moved into the light with Emily, so they both transformed into the hairy monsters; mostly known as werewolves...
"Erik," said Emily, in her deep voice, "Why did this happen to us? We did nothing to deserve this punishment, and yet we have to face the fears of even being burnt to the stake by our own friends." The piece of paper was covered in images of werewolves sleeping and sleeping and sleeping. Emily turned the page over, so that it showed a different picture. The werewolves were getting scolded by the moonlight as they slept; they all had crimson coloured eyes. "Erik, don't you see? We-have-crimson-eyes." said Emily, waiting for a shocked and surprised response of Erik.
"Emily, I'd expect more of a 19 year girl. Do you honestly believe in these 'true' stories?" said Erik, ripping up the piece of paper, "well I don't." He walked over to the red, soft sofa and snuggled up in the blankets.
"Ok, fine! If you wake up, not human, then don't come running back to me, because I'm not helping you with problems that you've created." explained Emily, as she went outside and ran off into the distance, covering her whole image with a duvet. 5 hours passed, Erik sniffled and sighed, his dark, brown fur bundling up into knots. He carefully and slowly opened the curtains, closing his eyes and...
