I was too unstable to go on missions, so I was forced to stay at base. I ended up calling my parents, wondering if it would be okay if I could stay at their house to recover. They said yes.

So that's where I am now. It's been 3 weeks and Ratchet has still deemed me mentally unstable to be fighting a war. So I was either stuck at base where everyone ignored me, or at home where everyone left me alone. There was no win win situation. My parents hadn't made me tell them what had happened when they lost all contact with me, which I was glad for, but I knee they were curious. On the bright side, I was able to get to know my little sister Elizabeth.

However, things were going to change soon. And it all began with a single phone call.

I groan  and grab my phone, checking the caller ID before answering. It was Miko.

"Yo, guess who's at the base!!"

"The president", I say sarcastically.

"No, silly! It's Wheeljack! He's back at base and he wants to talk to you!"

"Tell him he's fragged in the head if he thinks I want to talk to him", I say. There was a pause of silence from Miko.

"Hey, what happened between you and Wheeljack?" she asks quietly.

I sigh. It was probably about time I told her.

"Stop by my house sometime today and I'll tell ya. But whatever you do, don't bring Wheeljack", I say softly.

Miko agrees and hangs up. I sigh and pull myself out of the bed I rarely moved from the past three weeks. I take a look in the mirror and groaned at how bad I looked. My hair was a tangled mess and my eyes had dark bags under them from lack of sleep. Anytime I tried to sleep all I could think about was what happened on the warship, and what happened between me and Wheeljack.

As I waited for Miko, I started to sing a song that I heard recently.

Once I finished singing, I heard the one voice I never wanted to hear again. "You have a beautiful voice."

I closed my eyes to keep a tear from falling and turned around to face Wheeljack. However, I saw a guilty Miko behind him.

"Miko, I told you specifically not to bring him", I say quietly.

"I tried! But he refused to stay behind and you know, he's kinda tall and really strong!"

I sigh before motioning for them to come into my room. Miko closes the door behind her.

"So... what happened between you two? You both look like you haven't been sleeping for weeks", Miko says. I look over at Wheeljack's holoform and notice the bags under his eyes as well. I choke back as sob as I look away, not noticing Wheeljack looking away as well, tears in his eyes.

However, he works up the courage to speak to me

"Star-" I cut him off then and there,

"Don't call me that!"

Miko sighs before shoving Wheeljack out into the hall and telling him to leave. I hear Wheeljack sigh before hearing the front door close and the sound of his vehicle mode starting up and leaving.

It was then that I finally let everything go.

"I thought something was going to happen, Miko, but it didn't.  I love him but he doesn't love me! He said so himself!"

Miko sighs before her eyes light up. "Hey, I got an idea. Wanna get a little change, maybe some hair dye? I know that sometimes that will help you feel a little better. I know that much from my own experience..."

I look at Miko before a smile breaks out across my face. "That sounds like some fun. Some hair dye, and maybe a hair cut."

Although, I had a smile on my face, my voice held no real emotion. I was still numb on the inside.

"Then go take a shower, and then we'll head over to my place. I can dye your hair!"

I smile. "Alright. Thanks Miko."

Miko grins before ushering me into the bathroom. I smile softly as I start up the shower. Soon, with the hot water running over my body, I start to feel like myself again. I stop the hot water, and quickly get dressed into a change of clothes that Miko apparently picked out, what I didn't notice until later, was that the colors were Wheeljack's colors. White, green, and red-orange.

I brush through my hair with some difficulty and blow dried it quickly. Soon, I come out and Miko grins. "You look so much better! Now, come on. Bulk is waiting for us!"

She grabs my wrist and pulls me outside to Bulkhead's vehicle form. We climb in and Miko gives him directions which he follows.

Soon, we arrive at Miko's house and enter it quickly and up to her room. I saw posters of Slash Monkey all around her room and chuckle as she pulls out several different bottles.

"Mind if I choose the colors?" Miko asks. I shake my head and she grins evilly. Now I'm wondering if this was such a good idea...

Miko sits me down in a chair and places something over me to keep from getting any dye on my clothes. I close my eyes and let her do her magic. We end up talking and laughing about things while waiting for my hair to soak in all the dye. Miko then rinsed it out before blow drying it.

"This is going to be a long process", Miko says.

I chuckle and just let her continue which eventually leads to something I had not expected.

"Done!" Miko shouts as she finishes blow drying my hair after working on dying my hair for a few hours. Miko hands me a mirror and I gasp in shock and in slight anger.

"Miko!"

"What...?"

"These are Wheeljack's colors..." It was true. My hair was now mostly white with a few red-orange and green strips running through it. Miko grins.

"I know. Your clothes are too", Miko says.

I look down at my clothes. She was right, I was wearing a green dress with a white jacket on with a few red-orange outlines. I groan.

"What an I gonna do...?"

"Keep it?"

I sigh. "Fine."

Miko cheers before looking at the clock. She grins before dragging me out the door. I frown before letting her drag me out to Bulkhead's vehicle form.

"You know where to go, Bulk!"

I frown confused but let them do whatever they're doing. However, it wasn't long before I was suddenly pushed out of the vehicle onto sandy ground. They drove off and I stared after them in surprise. Tears filling my eyes, I stand up and turn around, only to be surprised at a very romantic setting.

"Wha..?"

"Hey, Crimson", Wheeljack says as he comes into view in his holoform.

"Miko..." I growl under my breath. I start to walk away but Wheeljack grabs my hand.

"Please. Just let me explain", Wheeljack begs. It was then that I blew up on him. I yanked my hand away from him and whirled around.

"Explain what?! What is there to explain?! I have been in pain for three weeks and now you want to talk to me?! Oh that's nice! Because guess what! You're too late!! I don't ever want to-"

I was cut off by a pair of lips crashing onto mine. I stare in complete shock, not registering what was happening.

"Now will you let me explain?" Wheeljack asks as he steps back, looking down at the ground.

"One minute", I say sharply.

He sighs. "I was scared and I was an idiot. We're in the middle of a  war and... I didn't want to lose you. I thought that by pushing you away... You wouldn't get hurt . But... in pushing you away, I hurt both myself and you. And now... I'm pretty sure I've lost you... but I just want you to know... I love you. What I said when you were in that coma was true. I lied because... because I was scared... I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I just... I want... I don't know what I want... I'm so sorry. I know you can't ever forgive me but-"

I cut him off. "I forgive you. But... it might take a while for me to warm up to you again..."

Wheeljack sighs before saying something that made me smile. "Will you come with me to see the stars?"

However, what I say next makes us both laugh. "I don't know how that would work... cuz you know... I'm a star."

Wheeljack chuckles before pausing. "Can I... can I call you Star again...?"

I smile softly. "Yeah."

Wheeljack smiles before looking at me. I saw him lean closer to me and I let him until he's just a few inches from me. I place a finger on his lips and he stops before sighing.

"Gotta wait for that", I whisper in his ear. He shivers before smiling at me.

"I will wait for you as long as you want."
