Chapter 15: A Heart Can Wait
5340 Words! Holy cow! I haven't wrote this much since Burning Blood.
It was a challenge in itself as the crew had decided to wake you up from your cat nap that was the strangely reminiscent as to when Zoro would go for a snooze. Everyone (besides Luffy) were purposely taking their sweet time while Sanji served up breakfast out of respect to you who was in desperate need for even five minutes of shut eye. Anything would suffice. When you woke up, however you were still exhausted as if the nap had never taken place. That really stung in your book, all you could do now was put on a smile and act as if everything was smooth sailing here on the Thousand Sunny.
That Psychic told me that my time limit is practically up! How could I forget about my limit? If Law doesn't show up soon...
"Ready to go my beautiful?" Sanji had put your train of thought back onto the track for his genuine smile could bring anyone out of the darkest of oceans. He stood offering you a hand as you remained sat down upon the wooden floor of the kitchen from where you first slept.
"Guess so," you let out a shy snicker, taking advantage of Sanji's offer by taking his hand as he helped you up. You were a bit wobbly, seems like your legs hadn't registered it was time to wake up huh?
"Mistress Robin has an entire day planned out for us and I get to spend all of it with you," Sanji hummed happily doing a little dance. You went speechless for a good moment as this was the first time Sanji had swooned over you in particular, or at least in front of you so to speak.
"What made you so lovey dovey today?" You finally asked after gathering the courage.
Sanji pressed his hands to his cheeks with rosy hearts where his eyes should be. He was a man in love that's for sure. "I get to spend the day with my two favorite girls," Sanji talked while squishing his cheeks to sound like he were dying in cuteness. You were dying in cuteness as well.
"I thought Nami was your number one," you grumbled remembering the Psychic's third prediction. He's a man with many women in his life, a flirt so to speak. But he hasn't been a flirt until recently because he's had his eyes on you instead.
"Who says I can't have more than one girl in my life?" Sanji went serious out of nowhere.
"You sound like a pimp," you wretched. "For your information Sanji, I am not your side hoe Nor I'm not a woman to be bought," you tut, leaving the kitchen.
"Damn," Sanji whistled. "That came out of nowhere but I like it!"
"She's playin' hard to get," Zoro chuckled after witnessing the entire event take its course. "If you don't jump on her then I will," Zoro smirked.
"You stupid Marimo," Sanji shook his head. "I got a plan!"
"To what, get her into bed?" Zoro knew exactly where the conversation was going, nobody could blame him for taking it downhill however.
"No," Sanji shot daggers at Zoro. "That's what you want."
"I won't deny she'd be pretty good in bed."
"I-" Sanji brain took itself and moved into the trash. "I... I won't deny it either but too bad," Sanji huffed. "Somebody has already beat us to her."
"She's gotten laid before us?" Zoro's eye widened.
"Yup," Sanji mumbled.
"That's... Crazy," Zoro scratched his temple.
"Zoro Sanji stop being perverts and let's go!!!" Luffy roared as he banged on the door within the kitchen with his fist. Zoro and Sanji sighed in unison before taking their leave.
Upon leaving the Sunny, Luffy charged into town leaving Robin, Zoro, Sanji, and yourself to the dust. Sanji bought some snacks as you all followed Robin's lead. He even claimed earlier that Robin had plans when really she was a filthy liar because she was just going to explore the sea bound island at her own pace with friends to accompany her by. It wasn't wrong to have friends around, more you just weren't as interested as Sanji was in the matter. Instead, you took everything your pace and boy Sanji had noticed your absence.
"Quit worrying about (Y/n)," Zoro told Sanji. The Marimo had kept a close eye on you as well since Sanji seemed to be fixed upon you and you only. Yes, Sanji was a man in love, but even this was a bit stalkerish. "I don't know about you, but I've long known she's a lone wolf," Zoro commented as he too had glanced over his shoulder to you taking an extremely slow approach to strolling around for you took in your surroundings like a copy machine scanning a piece of paper.
"It's not that," Sanji ignored Zoro's hint of aggression. "I've already told Robin, but (Y/n) has been acting weird ever since we came back from shopping. She's been more distant, now she isn't eating-"
"The Beast said she was tired; you said she's sick. Unless she's pregnant, there's nothing to get your panties in a twist over," Zoro was about to knock Sanji into next week. Unfortunately Sanji had to agree with Zoro that you were just fighting a bug and that a small appetite and lack of sleep were symptoms of such.
"I'd feel more comfortable if someone was with her..." Sanji comments looking onwards to Robin reading a book as she walked. "Can you and Robin keep Luffy under control?"
"Of course I can keep Luffy under control," Zoro growled. "At the rate (Y/n)'s going, you should be on stand by," Zoro had let up shoving Sanji in your direction.
"Didn't need to shove me ya Stupid Marimo!" Sanji snapped.
"Help her or else I will," Zoro made his claim clear with a cold steel gaze towards the blonde.
Sanji growled flipping the birdie and joined your side. He hooked his arm around yours, you just barely registered the action gazing up with orbs that became lost within Sanji's blue. "Still tired?" Sanji questioned, you nodded lazily in return.
"Is it that noticeable?" You yawned bringing a hand to your mouth.
"Well now it is," he snickered. "Want to have another me and you day?" Sanji suggested hoping to the depths of his heart that you'd say yes. "We can just take everything else easy, meaning Luffy isn't in the equation."
"Sure," you concluded your yawn.
"Great," Sanji exclaimed, gently tugging at your arm. "Yesterday while I was shopping, I learned this island isn't known for much of anything besides it's hospitality towards Pirates and Explorers," Sanji began a small story while leading you away from the main part of town that held stores and such. Everything here had a rustic feel with gravel paths and foliage all over, it was different once Sanji had led you to a path entirely dirt that led into nothing but green. "Somebody did say that a small walk through the woods is always a nice thing to do if you like animals... You do like animals right?" Sanji asked very suddenly without realizing that you may not be an animal person in the slightest.
"Besides Chopper, I haven't had many experiences with animals... And I'm not even considerate of Chopper to be an animal at this point," you frowned suddenly. "He's a snot nosed brat-"
"He's a crybaby yes," Sanji interrupted to withhold the aggression flooding from your mouth. "But he's only looking after your health."
"I just don't want to see Chopper for a while," you grumbled, rubbing your temple with one hand. "You took care of my hand, yet Chopper had to go all out," you brought your hand to a close, the stitches stung with the action. "His treatments are taking it out of me."
"Somehow I cannot disagree," Sanji nodded his head. "He is awfully hard on you."
"Thanks..." You growled. "Maybe this walk will take my edge off."
"Let's hope," Sanji grinned softly. All verbal communication had came to an end at that point forward. You'd follow the dirt path, Sanji's arm still hooked around yours and eventually you returned the action. The woods were green, more the trees were healthier than those in town blooming with colors of all kind that's reach for the heavens. Despite it being day, cicadas were buzzing about within the trees as well. The dirt path eventually faded into the greenest of grass. You were gradually tightening your hold on Sanji's arm and were snug against his side. Sanji's ears with tipped with pink as he never had expected you to be the one to close the gap knowing how introvert you were. That hold however loosened as you batted away some moths of the darkest coloring that didn't seem to be leaving you alone.
"You hear that?" Sanji asked to distract you.
"Huh?" You grit your teeth, ignoring the pests with open ears to a distant trickle of water that never seemed to end. "River?"
"You up for it?" Sanji hummed.
"Maybe just a drive by... Swimming is out of the question."
"I had no interest in the matter," Sanji admits as you both continued forth with your arms hooked. It wasn't long until you both had stumbled upon a shallow river of clear water and rocks. It was hard to distinguish it from a river or stream as it was the perfect middle. At one end of the stream were ducks of brown and white quacking it up merrily within their flock. Sanji awed, meanwhile you weren't phased.
"I'm guessing you like ducks," you felt obligated to ask already knowing the answer before even asking.
"Who doesn't?" Sanji exclaimed. "Before I moved into the Baratie with the Old Geezer, I loved feeding them." You then remembered back to a time when you were young, before your old man was a Marine and your brother still had a beating heart. They'd both take you down to a pond where ducks would swim and sometimes peck at strangers who'd step into their territory.
"Come on (Y/n)!" Your older brother hollered from within the pond with the legs to his pants rolled up to his thighs. The green water met his knees as he stuck his hands below the surface and pulled out dirt, rocks, and an occasional snail that he'd stuff within his pockets and dig for more.
"NO!" You quivered, tightly clenching onto the skirt of your dress from the shore. "The ducks will bite me!" The ducks ignored you.
"So?" Your brother giggled looking over his shoulder. "If they do, just bat them away... Come on!"
"I don't want to!" You whined with tears in your eyes.
"Will it make you feel better if I hold your hand?" Your brother asked with a gentle voice. You hiccuped, nodding your head while wiping the tears from your eyes with your arm. Your brother trudged through the water as he made way for the shore of the pond, and gently held your hand within his. "What would you do without me?" He smiled.
You grinned shyly as the memory really put you at ease. Despite the fact (B/n) is gone, the memories you had with him had never faded. Sanji began to dig through a small crinkled paper bag he bought from the marketplace before meeting up with you to take you here. Sanji expected at one point or another that you and him would break away from the crew and do your own things. The Cook had pulled out a long loaf of golden bread, a baguette, tearing off one end of the loaf and stuffed the rest within the bag. The ducks waddled out from the stream and flocked to him, begging like dogs at his feet and the bread was their bone. Your grin stretched into a smile. "Bread is actually bad for ducks."
"But everybody feeds them bread," Sanji chuckled, tossing crumbs at the ducks that littered his feet.
"True," You tilted your head. "But they like fruit more," you stepped forward, looking through Sanji's bag of snacks and pulled out an entire vine of green grapes that occupied the bottom. Sanji watched intently as you squatted down, resting upon your knees, with grapes sitting within your hands as the ducks gently ate the grapes from your hand whole with eagerness for more. Soon the ducks had completely left Sanji alone to surround you, every duck got at least one grape. Some ducks snuggled up against your legs, you gently pet their back that had a leather texture of their feathers. You eventually glanced over at Sanji who stared at you in awe. "What?" You asked all so innocently.
"I... I..." Sanji was at a loss for words. "I had no idea that you had a soft spot like this... It's rather cute," Sanji chuckled lightly.
"O-oh..." Your turned your head away with a small blush. Sanji noticed from a mile away, he thought to make things even harder for you by stepping forward and kneeling down beside you. The ducks pecked at him.
"Jerks..." Sanji hissed.
"Here," you grumbled, snatching Sanji's hand and put the last of the grapes within his hand. You even positioned his hand just inches from the mouths of the ducks and they ate it up like candy. Sanji hesitated to pet a duck, easing up once his hand found the back of the creature.
"How sweet of you (Y/n)," Sanji smiled. "Thank you."
"No... No problem," you grumbled straightening yourself out and walked forward along the shoreline of rocks. The ducks followed behind you like a game of follow the leader, forcing Sanji to let out laugh as it was too cute to handle. The laughing stopped immediately as you slipped upon the wet rocks and into the shallow river. The ducks fanned out as he sprang to your side.
"You okay?" Sanji grabbed your arm to give support. You snatched your arm back quickly.
"Of course I'm fine!" You growled getting back to your feet. Your clothes were soaked in water, dripping down to crash upon the rocks. Sanji expected said response, backing away to give you space. "First my stupid time limit, now this..."
"Time limit?" Sanji questioned while furrowing his brow.
"Nothing," you snapped. "I'll tell you about it later..." You simmered down. "For now, it's none of your concern."
"Okay then," Sanji offered his hand as you struggled to get out of the river. You took it with puffed cheeks and stepped upon land. You stood and wrung out your shirt. "Here,' Sanji said within the minute. You looked up from your feet to see a yellow and red tipped rose sitting within a light hold of his hand. "Maybe it'll lift your spirits," Sanji nearly stuttered. You just gazed upon the rose for the better part of a minute before making a move, taking the rose from his hand.
"Thank you..." You sounded lost, it was the reaction Sanji had actually anticipated for said response. And happy this didn't go south. You clutched onto your stomach out of nowhere with a hiss of pain. "I... I need to leave for a minute."
"Then go," Sanji exclaimed as you ran off suddenly holding a hand to your mouth. You darted deeper within the woods for any source of privacy to make a mess of yourself. You'd think that after the poison incident, Sanji has seen the worst you could get. Just something about vomit that made you seek cover. Even the ducks paraded around Sanji not so long after you had left. Sanji pursed his lips, kneeling down to pet the ducks as he awaited your return. The ducks however got annoyed as Sanji had no more food to give, pecking at his hands if he attempted to pet them. Sanji hissed, straightening himself out and gazed off in the direction in which you've disappeared.
"She's been gone an awful long while..." Sanji sighed, picking up his sack and ventured forth. He wasn't happy to say the least. Sanji knew you were fighting off a cold and you were bone tired, now you're off barfing and he'll have to probably carry you back to the Sunny. Dragging you this deep into the woods was more than likely one of his worst decisions yet. "Hey (Y/n)!" Sanji called with a hand cupped around his mouth. "You doing okay?" No answer. Sanji's nerves began to spiral around, so he continued to search for you and found no signs that you'd even came this direction. "(Y/n) I swear..." Sanji gritted his teeth. "She's been acting off all day... I swear if she ran away to join up with Law, I'll murder," Sanji fumed, until his orbs of blue caught a faint yellow in the distance. The blonde ran over to the color, finding his rose... Your rose, lying upon the ground. The earth was a bit torn apart around the rose, and scratches upon the base of trees. Not to forget the faint smell of fading smoke.
"Shit..." Sanji cursed, taking your rose within his hands. "(Y/n)'s predictions..." Sanji shook. "Smoker and Law..." Sanji clenched the stem of the rose tightly within his hand and ran for town.
-----
There was a punch and kick, next thing you knew you were face down upon the ground unable to move at all besides your wandering eyes and your arms. "Why did this all feel too easy," a voice like gravel spoke as he pressed your the back of your head into the dirt under his shoe. You swallowed thickly knowing exactly where this was all going. "What? Not in a fighting mood today?" Smoker exclaimed, jabbing his club square into your back right between the shoulder blades. You hissed, clutching onto the earth, the pain was overwhelming on a number of levels.
"I can barely stand as it is," you finally replied once Smoker had let up some pressure upon your back.
"Your limit is on the rise?" Smoker cocked his head, resting all his weight on one knee, putting all the pressure right onto your back once again.
"You know-"
"Anybody who's been assigned to capture you has been notified of your sixty day limit," Smoker grumbled, kneeling down and gripping you by the base of your neck, pulling you up to your feet. He wasn't smart to not put sea prism cuffs onto you, not like you could fight back, it's how you got the upper hand now rather than within the forest where you purposely gave in to keep Sanji out of the matters. This attempt to take him on was rather stupid. Smoker now had the upper hand since you were at your weakest most vulnerable point. "If I were you, I'd just kill myself if I were in your shoes."
"With how much of a heavy smoker you are, I'm surprised you haven't dropped dead," you insulted with a pleased grin.
"The fact that someone has to die every two months for your needs to be fulfilled."
"How do you think I feel? If I didn't need to live this life I wouldn't!"
"I find everything coming from your mouth to be complete and utter bullshit," Smoker grumbled with his mouth preoccupied with the two cigars dangling between his teeth.
"As if you'd ever listen to a criminal," you rolled your eyes.
"I do listen to criminals," Smoker corrected you. "I just have no reason to bother with you. The world is better off without you here to destroy it you sadistic killing machine," you remained silent afterwards, and Smoker definitely noticed. There was reasons why you referred to yourself as an assassin rather than a serial killer as most referred to you. It sounded easier, more welcoming. Now Smoker had crossed the line and you hadn't the strength to do a thing about it.
"No," a male corrected the Vice Admiral. "A killing machine like (Y/n) will save this world from the World Government," You recognized that voice from anywhere, your spirits were lifted for you smiled perking up from your slump. Smoker had let you go, spinning around with a wild look within his eye as he faced The Surgeon of Death head on.
"You cocky little shit," Smoker growled throwing his club over his shoulder to strike at Law. Law hadn't said a word yet he had flashed from your sight to be replaced with a towering man that had a bulky build. The club struck the giant in the arm and acted as if nothing had happened to him. Law reappeared at your backside, shoving you behind him and pressed his hands to Smoker's back, just to pull out a cube of glass. Smoker grunted, taking another strike at Law of whom stepped backwards as if the attack were nothing.
"We all know (Y/n) is my property," you took offense to such a claim, yet it was true in its entirety. "Now leave my sight or else your heart gets a new owner," Law smirked, clenching the cube of glass that held Smoker's cigar loving heart, the cube flexed, Smoker hissed, grunting as he clutched onto his chest and sweat rolling down his forehead.
"Heart first," Smoker wheezed from behind his cigars, reaching out towards Law with his free hand while the other held his chest. This was Punk Hazard all over again...
Law unfolded his hand, the cube went back to normal. "Here," Law tossed the heart to Smoker of whom caught it desperately. "Now get lost," Smoker didn't like the taste of a second defeat from the Surgeon of Death. Smoker already knew he was in way too over his head to take on the 'Trump Card' mission. He should've known your ally would show up and own the place.
"I've..." You hesitated watching Smoker trudge away like a dog with its tail tucked in between it's legs. "I've never been happier to see you," you smiled genuinely, taking Law by surprise.
"You've really pushed the time limit this time (Y/n)," Law lets out an irritated sigh instead of commenting back on the earlier confession.
"(Y/n)!" Sanji hollered from afar. You shot you head in the direction of his call with Zoro, Robin, and Luffy were tailing behind him. They all saw Smoker trudging away from you and Law with his heart at hand and a cursing mess flooding from his mouth. "Torao... You're here," Sanji noticed immediately, even taking note that some of his personal crew members were present as well. Sanji helped you to your feet with confusion as to why Law was here in the first place. "Did you just save (Y/n) from Smoker?" Sanji finally grew the courage to ask.
"I did," Law nods his head. Sanji heart sank knowing he couldn't be there to save you as he had once hoped. He felt anger built within his chest like a waking flame seeing how you were practically attached to Law's side even after Sanji had helped you to your feet and went through the trouble to gather the crew and come to your rescue. What made you so attracted to Law?
"What are you doing here Tra-Guy?" Luffy asked all giddy, at least Luffy cared to ask the real question.
"Yeah," Sanji spoke up once again. "We were expecting you, but we had no clue as to why we were."
"I'll explain soon enough," Law adjusted his coat, there seemed to be something large occupying his coat to make it as bulky as it was. "Get on my ship (Y/n)," Law shot a glare at you.
"I'm sorry about the time limit..." You sighed. "My mind just hasn't been focused on my limit until a psychic said something about it... Yesterday."
I knew there were more than one prediction, Sanji thought with envy.
"You're forgiven, now go," Law cocked his head in the direction of his submarine.
"That's even if I can..." You were already wobbly on your feet, but Smoker's sea prism club had really done you over. "Do you even have it?" You asked instead. Everyone grew confused.
"If I didn't, I wouldn't be here," Law griped, digging his hand through his pocket and pulled out a heart encased in a cube of glass. "Take it... You'll be in for a ride," you opened up your arms as Law passed the heart to you with one hand. You stumbled forward to catch it, Sanji stepped forward and caught it with one hand instead of you knowing you'd either fall back over or drop it all together.
"Why... Why do you need a heart?" Sanji asked as a examined the pink organ that beat within his hands. After Punk Hazard, Sanji knew that this organ had more than one purpose in Law's arsenal of combat and manipulative tactics.
"Do you want me to die?" You snapped, snatching the heart from Sanji.
Sanji looked alarmed by such a statement, let alone your hostility he hasn't seen for quite a while. "Is that your heart?" Sanji asked quickly.
"Enough with the questions," Law snapped. "We don't have the time to argue. (Y/n) time to go... Shambles," you disappeared from the scene as Law held his hand in a position well known to those who've met him before. "I'm docked beside your ship, as you can probably piece together, I have a surgery to perform. Make sure to speak with me as soon as I've concluded such surgery," before anyone could ask Law about his intentions with you, he had vanished out of thin air.
-----
The group of four were waiting patiently outside of Law's submarine. It was quite a long wait, too long of a wait. Law just came in, took you, and left. He's still here though, not like he actually ran away. But the fact that Law had taken you in such great urgency, and you happily went along with it. It made everyone, even Luffy begin to assume you were working with Law maybe even the World Government all this time, and they were too blind to see it...
Law had stepped out of the submarine with his hat at hand, his raven hair all disheveled. Robin plunged forward, planting a hand across his face with a deafening echo. "Are you threatening (Y/n)?" Robin asked immediately with anger the most notable within her calm voice. Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji all got the same idea the second Law had pulled out a heart from his pockets just hours ago. You were as obedient as a dog towards it's owner at the sight of such heart, getting all hostile towards Sanji once he took the heart from your grasp saying that you'd die. It was no doubt your heart that Law had been holding from you.
"To an extent," Law shrugged slightly.
"Well knock it off," Zoro barked.
"Yeah," Sanji glared at the Surgeon. "Or else there'll be hell to pay."
"You all got the wrong idea," Law reassured.
"Oh really, How?" Sanji and Luffy somehow spoke in unison sharing a mutual glance.
"(Y/n) is quite a handful as you can tell," Law began, throwing his leopard hat back atop his head of raven hair where it belonged. "Do you all really think she's gone months without gravely injuring herself besides when she joined up with you all?... Yes She's informed me of the injuries she's taken on since her recruitment," A valid point made already. Everyone shook their head to agree with the Surgeon's claim. "Without me, (Y/n) would be long dead. Even the Government kept me around just for the purpose of keeping her alive because they made so many mistakes that nobody but me can fix." Sanji took this as an opportunity to learn more about you.
"What mistakes?" Sanji asked.
"Almost nearly two years ago, the World Government offered me a Warlord position with a catch. That catch was (Y/n), and she is my responsibility regardless of this title or not or so I've began to assume," Law states as a precautionary, irritation very notable within his calm stature. "The World Government had been making much progress in science and technology that in my eyes compare to that of Vegapunk. One of the projects was literally called the 'Trump Card'... A human crafted into a weapon that can take on any enemy she faces."
"I've heard of the project quite a few times," Robin rested a hand underneath her chin.
"As have I," Zoro hummed. "But only the name that is," instead the swordsman had corrected himself.
"The Trump Card is... Is (Y/n), I don't doubt it," Sanji had a feeling all along that this was your past. He just denied it until all facts were present.
"Correct," Law sighed agreeing with Sanji's claim. "(Y/n) is more than likely the most dangerous woman alive due to two years of rigorous experiments that have increased her senses, healing ability, overall speed and strength, and bloodlust. She has no use for Haki of any kind as well."
"That... Explains a lot actually," Sanji picked his head up. "It all made sense when that poison never killed her and she was fine just a few days afterwards."
"There are drawbacks to such abilities, and that's where I come in," Law cleared his throat. He never ignored Sanji's statement, more it didn't need to be addressed. "There's no easy way to explain these abilities, her body is on overdrive 24/7. This overdrive wears out her most vital organ, the heart, at an extremely quick rate. What was 100 years of life are now all being used up within a period of sixty days."
(For those of you confused, think back to Lucci's explanation of Luffy's Gear Second. Luffy pumps a lot of blood to his heart increasing his speed and strength for the price of shortening his lifespan. Imagine Gear Second or third or whatever but NEVER turned off)
"Then that's why (Y/n) has been tired all day... Her heart was stopping?" Sanji asked, and Law nodded his head.
"Every sixty days, I have to replace (Y/n)'s heart with another or else her heart will fail and she dies. And in this time and age, heart replacement surgery is next to impossible. WIth my devil fruit however, it's a lengthy process but rather easy to perform. In return for my services, (Y/n) vows to do whatever I say. The ultimate weapon is something I cannot turn down," Law smirked which took the entire group by surprise.
"I wouldn't say complete obedience is the price to pay for Life but... I also can't disagree with (Y/n)'s decision to devote herself to Law," Robin began to sigh.
"Yeah well that devotion is coming to an end," Law spoke up.
"What do you mean?" Luffy tilted his head.
"I can't continue performing these surgeries on (Y/n), It's causing problems with me and the Government but also I have a crew and a life of my own to keep in mind. So I'll be giving (Y/n) three choices on the matter, in which I'll inform her once she comes to. But I feel you all should give your input on the situation too."
"Go on," Luffy put on a serious face realizing just how bad the situation had become.
"Either she joins my crew, It's a promise that I'm willing to go lengths for my own crew. If she's recruited to be a Heart Pirate, I can perform her surgeries without the need to go out of my way to find her or draw unwanted attention my way," Luffy, Zoro, Robin, and most importantly Sanji agreed that the first decision was smart on your end but most importantly Law's. "The next choice is for (Y/n) to undergo a surgery to fix her heart issue for good and she remains here as a Straw Hat. The drawbacks: She'll be as delicate as a newborn child for a long while and lose the benefits of her overdrive. Basically saying she'll revert back to the way she was two years back," everyone perked up to that choice. You'd be able to remain on the crew and you don't need a new heart every sixty days. "The last choice is that (Y/n) remains on this crew but I stop replacing her heart. Meaning she lives her last sixty days with you all."
"I think it's clear what (Y/n) should do," Sanji cheered. "I don't understand why (Y/n) can't decide. The permanent surgery is clearly a win!"
"Then tell her that yourself... She isn't conscious at the moment, or at least for twenty four hours..." Law looked at the ground. "I believe she won't agree to the surgery, then again, you all have changed her greatly within a month."
