Chapter 5
POV Blue
In the hushed elegance of the luxurious limousine, I found myself being transported to the illustrious realm of Auradon. Trembling with a mixture of trepidation and excitement, I gazed out at the passing scenery, my thoughts swirling like the mist enveloping the distant turrets of the castle.
"Do not fret overly, Your Highness," reassured Ser Vigor, his voice a soothing balm to my anxious soul. With a deft hand, he brought the limousine to a graceful halt before the grand entrance of the Auradon Prep. As the door swung open, a man clad in a resplendent blue suit and a young lady adorned in a magnificent poofy dress stood before me.
"Welcome to Auradon Prep. I am Mal, and this is my beloved Ben," the girl, Mal, greeted me with a warm smile that lit up her eyes like twin stars in the night sky. I inclined my head in a gesture of courtesy, acknowledging their presence with a quiet dignity.
"It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance," I murmured softly, the weight of my newfound destiny settling upon my shoulders like a regal cloak.
In a setting infused with a sense of mystery and intrigue, a man extended his hand towards me with a gracious gesture.
"Thank you for gracing us with your presence; I must admit, I didn't anticipate your willingness to join us," he uttered with a playful chuckle.
Responding with a gentle smile, I remarked, "If my unconventional nature finds solace among the ordinary populace, then it seems fitting for me to immerse myself in their midst." With a nonchalant shrug, I continued, "Well, I suppose I might as well engage in this mingling of souls."
Amused by my words, Mal let out a warm chuckle and spoke, "You are truly a most welcomed addition to our humble abode. Come, allow us to introduce you to our world."
In a setting of opulence and grandeur, I grasped her hand tightly as the two guided me through the magnificent halls of the palace.
The splendor that surrounded us was both magnificent and breathtaking, overwhelming my senses in a whirlwind of beauty and grace. Despite the allure of this place, my thoughts drifted to the familiarity of my humble chambers back home, to the laughter of stray children playing in the streets. Though I longed for what I had left behind, I knew I must endure and adapt to this new reality. If only those I cared for could find the strength to do the same.

In the dimly lit alleyway, Chan stood poised, his hand resting firmly on the gun holstered at his waist. Beside him, Lee Know stood steadfast, a silent guardian in the shadows. "This would've been easier with Blue at our side," Chan muttered through clenched teeth, his words barely audible as he leaned in close to his leader's ear.
Chan's sigh echoed in the quiet alley as he acknowledged the absence of their companion. "She's off somewhere else now. Let's finish this once and for all," he declared with a steely resolve, determination gleaming in his eyes as they prepared to confront their target and unleash the fury that simmered within them.
In the midst of impending danger, Chan and Lee, with swift precision, unleashed their shots upon the approaching enemy.
The assailant crumpled to the ground, a crimson mist enveloping the air in a macabre dance. Following closely behind, a figure obscured by a mask emerged, uttering desperate pleas, "No, no, Wooyoung," as he sank to his knees beside the fallen adversary. A silent exchange of understanding passed between Chan and Lee before they swiftly departed, evading the wrath that the ATEEZ member sought to unleash in the name of vengeance.
Back at the base, Chan and Lee, their identities concealed by the shadows of their hoods, finally found a moment of respite. As they removed their disguises, fatigue weighed heavily upon their shoulders, and they sank wearily into the embrace of a luxurious sofa.
"That shouldn't have happened," Lee Know remarked with a calculated calmness, his voice betraying a hint of concern as he rubbed his tired eyes. "His command shouldn't have found him while we were there."
Chan, acknowledging the gravity of their misstep, simply nodded in agreement. "We're getting sloppy," he admitted, the weight of their recent errors evident in his voice.
In the dimly lit room, Lee's sharp gaze bore into his leader's eyes, the weight of his words hanging heavily in the air. "We need Blue," he uttered in a voice that carried the weight of conviction and urgency. His unwavering stare conveyed a sense of determination as he continued, "She is the only one who would be able to help us defeat ATEEZ and TXT. It should have been done long ago." The gravity of his declaration echoed through the chamber, hinting at the high stakes of the impending battle ahead.
In the dimly lit chamber, Chan let out a weary groan, his voice heavy with the weight of their clandestine conversation. "Lee Know, cease your actions," he implored, a sense of urgency creeping into his words. "She is preoccupied elsewhere with matters of great importance. Mother Emerald has spoken to me, revealing a plan akin to the one we now discuss. We must endure a little longer, until her reign reaches its end, at which point we shall seize the throne and compel Blue to return to our ancestral lands."
Lee Know's lips curved into a sly smirk, a glint of mischief dancing in his eyes as he responded, "A most excellent notion, indeed."
In the dimly lit chamber, they rose with determination, their shadows dancing across the worn walls of the dilapidated building. As more of their comrades trickled back, a sense of urgency hung heavy in the air. "Tell me," gasped Hyunjin, his breath ragged with exhaustion, "why do we not seek refuge within our grand palace?" Chan emerged from the shadows of the kitchen, his hand resting on his injured friend's shoulder. "Because TXT has uncovered our sanctuary," he murmured grimly, "and they will stop at nothing to exploit our vulnerability."
In the dimly lit surroundings of their makeshift shelter, Hyunjin, with a solemn nod of comprehension, made his way towards the area that served as a med bay, if one could call it that in such a haphazard place. Chan, the stalwart leader, cast a watchful gaze over his comrades as they settled in for the night, seeking refuge and respite. Lee Know busied himself preparing sustenance for the weary group, a small act of comfort in the midst of uncertainty.
Amidst the quiet chaos, Changbin approached with a grim injury adorning his bicep, a wound that spoke of untold struggles. "Changbin, what reckless feat has befallen you? Accompany Hyunjin swiftly to the medical station and tend to that grievous wound," Chan commanded with authority, his concern palpable. Changbin, wearied by the day's trials, let out a resigned sigh. "I cannot locate it," he admitted, handing their leader a slip of paper bearing the emblem of the ATEEZ group. "They have discovered our presence," he uttered, a tinge of apprehension coloring his words.
In the dim light of the moonlit clearing, Chan's voice cut through the tension like a blade. "Curses," he muttered, his gaze sweeping over the weary faces of his group. "Fine, we're done running anyway."
His men gathered around him, their eyes reflecting a mix of weariness and determination. Hyunjin, with a bandage wrapped around his shoulder, stood tall amidst the group. "We've been walking until the ATTEEZ found us. Now they've done it, and we will not go down without a fight. I know we're all tired and wounded, but we need to do this today. Me and Lee took down one of their hackers or seducers. They've got nothing on us now."
As the words hung in the air, a sense of resolve settled over the group. The time for running was over; now, they stood ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead, united in their determination to emerge victorious.
The youngest in the group spoke up, "But some of us are more wounded than the others," he said. Chan nodded, "Yes, that's why I will stay behind and tend to those wounded, while the others go out there and fight for our freedom." The group nodded in agreement and one by one, they patted Chan on the shoulder, "See you out there, boss," before slipping out to join their comrades.
