I was currently in the classroom studying the students and their current ability to strategize. Apparently the person this guy was, was great at strategy. So I have been pointing out flaws and helping so far with bettering their planning, though so far I've been dealing with 3rd and 4th years which require little to no criticism. I still have the monitor on still primarily to keep me at Beacon for the General to keep an eye on me the one thing Ozpin had to do to keep the general off his back about hiring a criminal. The bell rang another time and I look up to see little red's team in now.

Goodwitch: We will start with one on ones for now. Prof. Torchwick would you like to pick the two?

Y/n: Alright, hmm Ms. Valkyrie and Ms. Xiao Long.

Yang: I've been waiting for a rematch.

The two young ladies both go to the locker room to get their respective weapons before coming back and getting on the opposite sides of the arena. I was leaning on the cane that "Roman" has as they got into their stances.

Goodwitch: 3... 2... 1... begin.

They both charge each other not exactly a good idea on Ms. Xiao Long's part as Ms. Valkyrie has reach on her side. As they meet in the middle as Nora gets the first hit in as she hits Yang's side before Yang can even fully extend her fist sending Yang and her fist to the side. Yang decided to use range now and fired a few rounds at her. Nora got hit by one as she closed the distance and did a underhanded swing sending Yang into the air for a moment. Yang managed to right herself slightly and proceeds to punch Nora on her way down and knock her off the arena.

Y/n: Now great match if you didn't knock Ms Valkyrie out of the ring the fight could have been Ms. Valkyrie's win. Can anyone tell me why?

I look at the stands with no one raising their hands.

Y/n: Ms. Valkyrie had reach on her side which means she could have stayed back slightly and and kept Ms. Xiao Long at a distance. When fighting an opponent look for what they use and you can figure out the best strategy to secure the win. Ms. Xiao long headed straight at her when she should have dodged and punched the hammer whenever the opportunity presented for a near flawless victory.

Goodwitch: Well said, now on to team Crdl against Pyrrha Nikos.

Goodwitch: And that's the match.

Cardin: Lucky shot.

He collapsed again as I move over and pulled these idiots over to the side. They couldn't even touch her. One even took out their own teammate.

Goodwitch: Well done, Miss Nikos. You should have no problem qualifying for the tournament.

Pyrrha: Thank you, professor.

Goodwitch: Alright, now I know that's a tough act to follow, but we have time for one more sparring match. Any volunteers? Ms. Belladonna? You've been rather docile for the past few classes. Why don't you -

Mercury raises his hand.

Mercury: I'll do it.

Goodwitch: Mercury, is it? Very well, let's find you an opponent.

Mercury: Actually, I wanna fight... her.

Mercury points to Pyrrha.

Pyrrha: Me?

Goodwitch: I'm afraid Miss Nikos has just finished the match. I recommend you choose another partner.

Pyrrha: No, it's fine! I'd be happy to oblige.

Mercury: I'll be sure to do that.

Goodwitch: That is all for today. And remember, the dance is this weekend. But you all have your first mission on Monday. I will not accept any excuses.

That was the last class of the day for me so I start making my way out and to the room I've been given that was slightly modified with bars over the window so I can't leave it. As I was contemplating on what to do the door was knocked on. I turn my head towards it.

Y/n: It's unlocked!

The door opened revealing a woman with raven black hair.

Y/n: Do I know you?

I think for a moment before noticing the Haven academy uniform.

Y/n: Oh your an exchange student from... Haven if I recall correctly is there-

Raven haired: Cut the act Torchwick!

Y/n: Listen I'm here because I made a deal with the headmaster and because I can't remember everything so if you have any beef with who I was take it up with him.

I hold my head as I try to remember anything again. She soon leaves after studying me for a few seconds. Hopefully satisfied with my answer. I shut the door again as a sit at the desk and access the highly restricted computer to check on the recordings of the fights that have happened today so I can help Prof. Goodwitch in the appropriate grading. While the this was going on another knock on the door came to my attention.

Y/n: It's open.

I was still focused on the computer as the door opened and someone coming up beside me.

Little Red: Uh excuse me Prof. Torchwick.

Y/n: Huh yes Little Red.

Ruby: First my names Ruby.

Y/n: Whatever you say.

Ruby: And secondly what did you mean back at the hospital. You said something about your last life what did you mean?

Y/n: Alright I'll tell you just keep this between us. I not really this Roman Torchwick everyone calls me.

Ruby: Wha-

Y/n: Let me finish. I should be dead at least that should have happened before I was knocked out of that mech before we met I was walking home from a very shitty job after a very shitty day. I was just crossing the street when a truck run me over then I woke up in that mech. My best guess is that I reincarnated into this criminal during the fight you had with him.

Ruby: That sounds a little far-fetched.

Y/n: Yeah even I think it is but I remember two of every birthday and two separate birthdays. But here's one thing you can ask yourself if I'm still this master criminal why haven't I escaped yet or why haven't I tried getting an ally of mine to break me out. I got a second chance at life and I plan to make it count and worth something. Now I was already told to keep all that a secret and you are the only one to come up to me and ask so can you keep this secret too.

Ruby: Uh yeah. So uh who were you?

Y/n: My name was Y/n L/n but I'll probably go by Y/n Torchwick now might as well stick with my new life's name I guess. Now I have some recordings to rewatch and send recommendations on how the students can improve. I can't let this strategic mind go to waste now can I.

Ruby: Yeah I'll leave you to it Professor.

She left and closed the door and I continue with my work sending out recommendations on improvements to the students as I see them whether they listen or not is entirely up to them but it can make the difference between life and death in a real fight. I push my self back as I look up to the ceiling thinking back to the info of Grimm and such.

Y/n: They have to fight dangerous soulless creatures everyday just to survive. This Roman dude I am used to be a criminal I might as well try and redeem myself and survive as... whatever I am.

There was another knock at the door. I look over at it.

Y/n: Come in.

The door opened and showed Ms. Belladonna but upon closer inspection she looked tired like she hasn't slept or taken care of herself in awhile.

Belladonna: What are the White Fang planning?

Y/n: I'm sorry.

Belladonna: What are they planning?!

She got up in my face.

Y/n: I don't know, all the info I ever got was given to me by the person who hired me and my memory is not all that great right now.

She just huffed and left along with slamming the door shut. I look back at the computer for a second and then thought of the memory of "Roman" not caring enough to find out his semblance. A super power each person has and could have been a great tool for him in his criminal career. I go back to the computer and start looking up multiple references on how to unlock your semblance. The answers ranging from multiple things from meditation to a simple everyday task.

Y/n: I already inherited the skill of using his cane which will come in handy so I guess meditation for now to at least try. I won't get my hopes up exactly since it could take years from what it says.

Bacca: Yeah I did. Now I'm thinking of giving him two semblances. One for well Y/n and the second from well Roman I need ideas for Roman's base I have a idea for Y/n's but I won't say.

Ruby: Now the love interest vote is still going on and remember everyone is legal including yours truly and you can have two love interests or specify you only want one.
