I was currently in my room since it's the weekend and tomorrow night is the dance which I have to go to and chaperone. I'm currently meditating and trying to separate memories because they blend to much and I can't remember everything correctly starting with older ones first. I was in the classic meditation pose as the door knocked.

Y/n: Grrr. Come in.

I kept my eyes closes as the door opens and someone comes in.

Ruby: Uhhh what are you doing Y/n?

Y/n: I'm meditating. Two reasons for this to try and have a calm mind as I separate my memories from Torchwick's so I could possibly give better answers. Another reason is because Torchwick never unlocked his semblance.

Ruby: Really? So he got away with a lot of things with a handicap.

Y/n: Yeah. Ugh this is so annoying.

Ruby: What?

I get up and go over to the computer and pull open the music mixer I got Ozpin to allow.

Y/n: Some memories are well to put simply stubborn and don't want to get untangled. So I'm going to finish up some music I was working on that's from home though I have to make the lyrics myself.

Ruby: You used to sing.

Y/n: Not anything original just sang along but I remember some songs perfectly because I listened so much.

Ruby: Is it just the one song?

Y/n: No I have two ready I had to constantly fine tune them to match it right. Okay first song "worst in me".

Y/n: That sounded right different voice of course but it worked. Now onto the other one "devil inside".

Ruby: Why do you know those songs so well?

Y/n: I listened to them after very stressful days of my old shitty job which happened very often. You know I never asked why did you come over, Red?

Ruby: I wanted to know more about you specifically your old life, Y/n not Roman to be specific.

Y/n: Well you learned liked to sing after stressful days.

Ruby: That first song why that one?

Y/n: My job blamed for anything and everything that went wrong. Now don't you have a dance to get ready for.

Ruby: Not really up for it since my teammate doesn't want to go.

Y/n: Who is that?

I get up and sit next to her.

Ruby: Blake.

Y/n: Ms. Belladonna she came by yesterday and wanted to know what the White Fang were planning. Hmmm did you voice your concern with your team?

Ruby: Yes.

Y/n: And?

Ruby: My sister says she has a plan for it.

Y/n: Then trust her to get her to come. If it fails try me.

I manage to pickpocket her scroll as she gets up.

Y/n: You forgetting something Red.

She turns around and notice I'm holding her scroll.

Ruby: Ugh girl pockets are the worst.

Y/n: No its not that, I'm still a professional sweetheart can't let these skills get rusty.

Ruby: (blushing) Sweetheart?

Y/n: Oh uh sorry about that slip of the tongue. I uh hope your sister can get your teammate to the dance. I will be chaperoning.

And with that said she grabbed her scroll and left.

Timeskip

I was walking the halls to continually familiarize myself with the academy. I passed by a classroom thought to be empty when I heard voices inside.

???: If Torchwick's partner came through that door, what would you do?

Belladonna: I'd fight him.

I open the door and walk in. As soon I entered I was jumped by a clearly exhausted Ms. Belladonna. I easily dodged each strike that was thrown at me the strikes were sloppy and wide.

???: You can't even hit him.

(I'm not putting Xiao long each time until we learn her first name)

I look over and saw Yang, Ruby's sister if I recall. She hugged her teammate as a way to calm her and restrain her.

Yang: I'm not asking you to stop, just get some rest. Not just for you, but for the people you care about. And if you feel like coming out tomorrow, I'll save you a dance.

She leaves as I leave too.

Yang: You came in just perfectly.

Y/n: Well I guess your welcome. Should we make sure she got back safely.

Yang: She'll be fine.

Timeskip

I was wearing my usual outfit with my cane of course still in my room. I basically posted myself next to the punch bowl. My last prom someone spiked the punch and that person was me. Sadly I have to be the responsible one. I saw someone trying to sneak by and do something that someone is Ms. Valkyrie.

Y/n: Ms. Valkyrie... try harder next time if your planning to spike the punch.

She slumped her shoulders and walked off. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves and dancing I have been Tapping my foot to the music as the night goes on. After a bit I see Little Red come over.

Y/n: What's wrong Little Red?

Ruby: Not much of a dancing girl.

I take my bowler hat and put it on her.

Y/n: The nights still young enjoy yourself.

She grabbed some punch as I did as well. I heard a camera click as I look over and saw Mercury with his scroll out looking at us. Soon enough Mr. Arc came over.

Ruby: Hi Jaune.

Jaune: I see you're hiding at the punch bowl too.

Ruby: Yep.

Jaune: To the socially awkward.

Ruby giggles and they clink glasses.

Ruby: Sorry things didn't work out with Weiss.

Jaune: Meh, it's fine. Neptune's pretty cool. I get why she went with him.

Ruby: What do you mean?

Jaune: Well, come on, not many people can pull off blue hair.

Jaune begins to drink his punch.

Ruby: No, I mean, Weiss came to the dance alone.

Jaune chokes in surprise as I notice Weiss trying to stand a white rose back up.

Jaune: Uh, what?

Ruby: Yeah, she said that she had too much to focus on to worry about boys.

Jaune: Hold my punch.

He gave Ruby his punch before heading towards the group with one having blue hair. Pyrrha crossed his path and he clearly changed his plan and followed her.

Quick 3rd person

He was so focused on what was happening in front of him he didn't notice Nora spiking two punch bowls.

Back to Y/n's Pov

I refill my punch as Ruby does too and leaves. I'm back to the boring job of watching the dance and stopping anyone from spiking the punch. After a good thirty minutes laughter was erupting throughout the ballroom and I see Jaune in a dress and proceed to laugh as well. Soon after him and his team dance together everything starts to get blurred and I just black out.

Timeskip

I slowly wake up with a pounding headache. I look around and see I'm back in my room on my bed.

Y/n: Ugh my head. What happened last night?

???: Mmmm *yawns*.

There was a lump in my bed and the covers moved revealing Ruby.

My mind had to process it for a moment before we both go wide eyed and both scream.

Y/n and Ruby: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Y/n: What happened last night?!

Ruby: I don't know!

Goodwitch: Ms. Rose to Ozpin's office.

Ruby: Do you think they know?!

Y/n: I don't think so just act natural when you go!

Bacca: Alright another chapter out after I got great ideas for this and one person is a pretty much locked at 3 being Ruby one vote being me yes I read my own books for two reasons.

Ruby: To relearn the plot and for his own enjoyment.

Bacca: Exactly now the second love interest is still up in the air or we can leave it at Ruby just vote no one but I can see two of the other votes the second being both Neo or Blake being the second one. The winter vote would have been the same as Weiss if she was voted being the perfect good girl falling for the bad boy. Goodwitch would be hard really.
