Spencer x reader

Y/n gave a confused look to Spencer who she was sat in front of. "I'm sorry, say that again?" She said with a look of shock.

"I think we should adopt a kid," Spencer said again, smiling.

"Spencer you know I want to grab the keys and your hand, then head immediately to the adoption center. But 1. We both work long hours, and 2. Are we prepared to have a kid?"

"1. One of us works from home one week then the other works from home the next week, and 2. Yeah, I think we are, you'd be the perfect mom for a kid," Spencer said before giving puppy dog eyes.

Y/n sighed, "get in the car," she said as she grabbed her keys while Spencer made a B-line for the door.

Spencer looked at Y/n as she gushed over the kids. He smiled before looking around and seeing a little boy sitting by himself. He walked over and sat next to the boy.

"Hi," he smiled.

The boy looked up at him in wonder, "hi," the boy smiled.

Spencer held his hand out, "I'm Spencer," he greeted.

"I'm Tike!" The boy said happily shaking Spencer's hand.

Y/n walked over and smiled at the scene she looked at Tike who had a pair of glasses, a sweater, jeans, and little sneakers on. Spencer was playing with Tike happily before looking up and seeing Y/n smiling.

"Tike this is my girlfriend, Y/n," Spencer introduced her.

"Hi, miss Y/n!" Tike squeaks.

"Hello," Y/n waved at Tike. "Spencer why don't you go get the paperwork and I'll stay here with Tike."

Spencer smiled before going to go get the adoption paperwork for Tike. Tike looked at her with a big bright smile.

"You want help packing up your things?" Y/n asked getting a nod before Tike jumped up and pulled Y/n by his little hand to his room to pack up his things.

Y/n had Tike sat on her hip as they walked around Toys R Us to pick out some toys while Spencer hunted down a teddy bear.

Tike made grabby hands at a Piglet stuffed animal. Y/n's heart melted when she handed him the Piglet and watched him hug it happily.

Spencer came over and saw Y/n fawning over Tike who hadn't let go of Piglet. Spencer came over with a little teddy bear with a little bow tied around its neck.

Spencer tilted the bears head once it was in Tike's sight. Tike made grabby hands at it with a happy face.

Spencer handed it to him before wrapping his arms around Tike and Y/n happily. They all smiled as they looked at one another.

"Our little family," Y/n said as she leaned on Spencer, smiling happily.
