The man smirked as he stared down at the sobbing mess at his feet, adjusting his leather jacket.

"Enjoyed that, love. Hope you remember it, because I sure will," He said smugly, his English accent thick and sinister.

The victim cried as she tried to pull on her torn clothing.

"H-How could you?" she sobbed. "I-I was a virgin..."

"To every guy, women like you are just holes that we gotta fuck," he snapped.

She burst into tears, letting reality sink in as he knelt down and lifted her head up by her chin, her broken whimpers softly echoing in the alley she was pulled into half an hour ago.

Thirty minutes of torture, pain, and humiliation.

"You know..." a voice suddenly echoed and made them both tirn to the end of the alley, where a small dark figure of a human stood. "Men like you, who prey upon innocent girls and corrupt them like you just did.... just don't deserve the oxygen we share."

"Is that so?" the man smirked, shoving the girl by her head to the ground, making her yelp as she sobbed nervously, fearing it could be another round of torture.

"And who the bloody hell are you to tell me what I don't and do deserve?" he smirked, standing straight.

All of a sudden..... BANG!

The rapist yelled and collapsed to the ground, the victimized girl screaming in alarm and surprise, as the gunshot echoed and the figure held the revolver at him.

"FUCK!!" He swore aloud as he gripped his leg, his knee blown clean off his leg into tiny pieces by that single bullet.

The man then slowly approached the fallen rapist, the girl sobbing quietly as cowarded into the shadows, trailing blood from her injuries.

"Its a human's decision to how long he or she wants to stay pure, and to who or when he or she wants to have sex," The mysterious gunman said, then shot his other knee, making the rapist scream.

"ALRIGHT!! ALRIGHT!! I'M SORRY, I'M SORRY, PLEASE STOP!!!" He begged.

"After what you did to that girl? You'll be the reason for her nightmares, her fears," he said, then pulled out a machete from his belt holster. "The least I can do for her is get rid of scum like you in order for her and other women like her to feel safe at night."

The man then swung the machete down and got to work.

The raped girl watched in horror from the shadows at the bloodshed, her tormenter's screams echoing as her rescuer tortured him. She had to look away from the scene before the man's screams stopped and it was all silent.

She looked back up and covered her mouth in shock at what became of her rapist.

"Oh my god..." she whispered softly.

The man then turned to her, then he reached down and picked up her coat, the only thing left intact.

"Please, no, I beg of you, I won't tell anyone," she sobbed, fearing she was next.

He then approached her silently, and she sobbed quietly, fearing her life as she hugged herself protectively.

"Forgive me... For not being able to save you on time," the mysterious man, who she realized only had his nose and mouth covered with a cloth, revealing only a set of brilliant blue eyes, his hair hidden under a black beanie and hood from his black jacket. "Now, your mind will be tainted by his awful actions, chances of recovery unknown."

He then took her's and cloaked it as gently over her shoulders as he could. The poor terrified girl was confused by his actions.

"The police and paramedics should be here soon. Stay safe, and be careful. Make no noise until they arrive," he instructed in a blank voice as he got up and was about to leave when...

"W-Who are you?" She mumbled.

He stopped in his tracks.

"That's something you shouldn't know," he said. "But let's just say I love turning criminals like him into roadkill."

She stared in shock as he disappeared into the night, police soon arriving with an ambulance.

Okay, so, this is a bit of a sneak peek on something I'm working on, inspired by the amazing story "Sanity" by NonaHysteria (TokyoHysteria) only this has a bit of a different concept. Nonetheless, all credit goes to her on the serial killer AU idea.
