"All agents, suspects are on the move!!" TJ shouted into his mic. "Limo is speeding out of the tunnel on the east side, black Cadillac limo, plate number Charlie, 7, 5, Bravo, Ida, 4!! All units respond, suspects have a hostage, one of our own!!! I repeat, suspects have one of our own as hostage, and he's AWOL!!!!"

Agent Purdy, Agent Patra, Misery, Vinny, Devin, Ashley and Maria rushed out from the main entrance as they saw the black limo speed past us, matching TJ's description, and cruisers and federal SUV's speeding after it as SWAT ran towards their van.

"We had some car's parked for us here!!" Gaia shouted, but Ashley quickly grabbed a banner, ripping the post off and running towards the street, where a motorcycle driver was coming.

"SORRY!!" she shouted and swung the pole at the driver, knocking him down and the bike falling. "I'LL BRING IT BACK!!!"

She then ran towards the bike, snatching an sort of bazooka from one of the SWAT agents.

"HEY!!" He shouted as she climbed on the bike and sped off behind the cop cars.

"COME ON!!" Misery shouted as all Federal Rogue agents and Council guards ran to whatever SUV or motorcycle was available to join the chase.

Meanwhile, a sleek black Rolls Royce sped a high speed behind the Cadillac, other cruisers that joined with them, including a SWAT van.

"I don't see why you have to help us!!" Chris shouted as Sebastian sped close with the other cops. Craig, Angelo and Andrew were in the back.

"How about you're welcome, Agent?! Be glad the car was just at their tails. Now hold on!!" Sebastian snapped as he slammed his foot on the gas pedal and everyone was thrown back.

Remington, Austin, Kuza, some other agents along with some of Misery's goons, were also on motorcycles.

"Suspect's headed for the tunnel that leads to the highway!!" Chris said into his mic. "Sebastian, any chance you can get me close enough to shoot?"

"I can try, but everyone hang on," he said, and sped it to almost 130 mph, swerving past some cruisers.

Soon we were close by and I rolled down the windows, and aimed my gun at the driver's window, shooting twice but only knicking the mirrors and the window a bit.

That's when Franccesca sped over and managed to shoot the windshield out, when suddenly a bang went off.

She yelped and held her arm as she swerved and skid a few feet on the asphalt.

She groaned as she sat up, thankfully not severely injured for the most part.

"FRANKIE, YOU ALRIGHT?!" Misery said in her earpiece as she yanked the helmet off, throwing it aside.

"I'm fine!" she groaned, pulling herself to the shoulder of the highway to avoid getting hit from the oncoming cars as she checked her in. "Keep going, don't worry about me. Just get the kid!!"

The sun roof of the Cadillac suddenly opened and a guy with a rifle pointed at the Royce.

"Shit, get down!!" Chris shouted as the guy started to shot at the car, knicking the window a bit.

The shots caused Sebastian to lose some speed as the Cadillac gained more speed and distance away from the.

"NO!! MATT!!!" Chris screamed. "Sebastian speed up!!"

Sebastian slammed his foot at the gas pedal again and sped up some more as Chris.

"Craig helped me out!" Chris said as both he and Craig poked their heads out the window and started to shoot at the car, but only getting the back windshield.

Suddenly, something sped past the Rolls Royce, and Chris recognized the red and black hair that sped past the car.

"Who the hell is that!?" Sebastian asked as he drove

"A fucking psychopath!! Look!!" Craig snapped.

Then, just as Harley got close enough, she swerved the bike and let it slide against the asphalt at high speed as she climbed on the side.

She crouched as she steadied herself and pulled a bazooka she had on her back and aimed it towards the car.

"OH SHIT!!!" Chris shouted as Ashley sent the small rocket towards the car, and it blew up under the limo, sending it into the air and flipping a bunch of times.

Sebastian slammed the brakes as they watched the vehicle flipped until it stopped, landing backwards, smoke coming from it.

"Oh my god..." Angelo said as he climbed out, along with Craig as the other cars, cruisers and motorcycles had stopped in the road.

"Ricky, get medical here fast!" Chris said into his mic as he jumped out of the car

"Way ahead of you, Chris. Some ambos and rescue units are headed your way now," Ricky said in his ear piece.

Two of the suspects started to crawl out of the wreck, and held guns up at the agents.

"GUN!!!" Devin screamed and a bullet whizzed past Chris's head as he ducked, as did others who weren't armed, and then Devin, TJ, Angelo, Andrew, Larisa and Franccesca, who managed to rejoin the others,  immediately shot at the two of the perps who were shooting at them, both of them going down as he realized one was crawling out of the wreckage and running off.

"Craig, TJ, Ryan, get him!!" Chris shouted as he and Kuza ran over, Chris holding his gun as he checked on the fallen perps, one only having a pulse and the other bleeding out as Angelo and Kuza rushed over.

Craig, TJ and Ryan ran off behind the guy.

"MATT!!" Kuza shouted he looked under the flipped car. "I see him!! He's still breathing!!"

Chris went over to Kuza and helped him pull out an unconscious Matt, blood, bruises and scrapes all over him, his dress ripped up a little.

"Ambulances are coming!!" Someone shouted, and that's when they heard the sirens in the distance.

Kuza and Chris moved Matt away from the wreckage and laying him down on the asphalt as Harley and Sebastian ran over.

"Keep his head steady," Chris said to Kuza as they arrived

"Oh my god," Harley gasped. "I'm sorry, I-I thought it would save him, they were getting away!!"

"Ashley, Ashley, its fine, he's breathing!" Chris assured her as she panicked.

"Looks like everyone else is dead," Angelo shouted as he looked in the car. "They caught the other guy that fled, we can interrogate him back at headquarters."

Chris took a deep breath as soon paramedics arrived and were rushing over and taking care of Matt.

"Yeah... But I have a feeling we just opened Pandora's Box....." Chris panted a bit as he stared at the dead suspects. "And a whole lot of ugly is gonna crawl out of it...."

Also, there's a chance that because of a future story I'm planning (not revealing anything just yet! 😉), I might be changing the title of this book. Not sure yet, but I'll release an announcement once I decide on something. 🤷🏻‍♀️
