Round 1 | DuskClan: Roles
This game will have 20 cats, and each cat will have their own role. Please read up on the possible roles and their abilities.
Clan Team Roles
Leader (×1): Everyone knows who you are, but you don't know anyone else's role. Your name ends in -star. During the day vote, your vote counts double. You have no nightly action.
Deputy (×1): Every night, you can investigate a cat you find suspicious. You will learn their exact role.
Medicine Cat (×1): Every night, you can choose one cat to protect. That cat cannot be killed by the traitors while you are protecting them. If traitors attack the cat you are protecting, you will see a physical trait of one of the traitors. You cannot protect yourself.
Medicine Cat Apprentice (×1): Your name ends in -paw. You have no special ability and no nightly action. However, if the medicine cat is killed, you become the new medicine cat and gain that role's ability.
Starspeaker (×1): In your dreams every night, you can communicate with StarClan and choose a dead cat to speak to. That cat may be able to give you helpful information. Because you are sleeping, the lookout will not see your nightly action.
Lookout (×1): Every night, you can secretly keep watch on a cat that you find suspicious. You will learn if that cat has a nightly action or not. This counts as a nightly action.
Lookout Apprentice (×1): Your name ends in -paw. You have no special abilities and no nightly action. However, if the Lookout is killed, you will become that role.
Sharpclaw (×1): You are a somewhat violent cat on the clan's team. You have no nightly action. However, once in the game, you can kill a cat during the day if you suspect them of being a traitor. But if you're wrong, you've just killed a clanmate. This will reveal your role to the rest of the cats.
Brightheart (×1): Once in the game, you can choose two cats to fall in love with each other. These cats will become mates and will learn each other's roles. If one dies, the other will die of grief. You cannot choose yourself to be in love. You do not have a nightly action.
Turnpelt (×1): You are a normal warrior with no special ability and no nightly action. However, if you are attacked by the traitors, you will become one of them instead of dying. You will not know that you are a Turnpelt until you turn traitor.
Elder (×1): You are an older warrior. Through the power of grumpiness, every night you can choose to "mute" a cat. That cat will not be able to vote or speak at all during the next day. You cannot mute yourself.
Warrior (×3): You are a normal warrior with no special ability and no nightly action. You must help the clan by using the information other cats give you and voting to exile the traitors.
Warrior Apprentice (×1): Your name ends in -paw. You have no special abilities and no nightly action. If all three warriors die, you become a warrior.
Traitor Team Roles
(note: the killvote counts as a nightly action and can be noticed by the clan Lookout.)
Lead Traitor (×1): Your vote counts double in the nightly killvote. You know who the other traitors are.
Traitor Lookout (×1): Every night, you can secretly watch a clan cat to see if they have a nightly action or not. You will automatically share this info with the other traitors, and you know who they are. You can also participate in the nightly killvote.
Traitor (×2): You have no special abilities, but you can participate in the nightly killvote. You know who else is on the Traitor team.
Traitor Apprentice (×1): Your name ends in -paw. You have no abilities and cannot participate in the nightly killvote, but you know who the other traitors are. If the Lead Traitor dies, you will become a regular Traitor.
