Torn

Lmao someone pointed out that I spelt Palette's name wrong--

Hajsuzggzhs I know shit nothing about Palette apart from his like clothes and parents--

IM SO SORRY XD

---Geno's POV----

I walked home faster than usual, worried about Goth and Raven. If I get home to find both of them missing I'll go ballistic. Anything could have happened in the half hour we've been separated.

Walking faster, I rounded a bend in the alleyway only to smash face first into someone.

The two of us sprawled out across the floor in a tangle of limbs, me cursing with the other frantically apologising, trying to push themselves off of me.

I growled, giving them a big shove that sent them flying off of me, thumping into the ground roughly with a weak cry. "What the hell is your problem!?" I hissed, glaring at them.

"I-I'm sorry! Y-You just came so suddenly!" They stood up, glancing around for a moment before properly looking at me. Instantly his eyes widened and he stumbled back.

My narrowed and I looked him up and down, something telling me that he looked irritatingly familiar.

He was a skeleton, quite small and thin. He wore a dirty lab coat that looked as if it had once been white and brand new. A pair of cracked glasses covered over his eyes as as they glinted I had a horrible flashback of the guy from fifteen years ago that had taken over the police core and tried to kill all of us.

I shook my head quickly, growling softly as I watched him take a slight step back. "Watch where you're going next time."

He nodded quickly, his gaze resting on my scarf suddenly. "I-I will..."

I hissed softly, gripping onto my scarf protectively as I stepped past him, purposefully walking into him.

He yelped and grabbed onto me for support, resulting in him gripping onto my scarf and tugging it, making a sickening rip ring out that made at soul stop.

I whipped around in fury, my eyes burning as I saw the strip of red fabric held in his hand tightly. "You little shit!" I yelled, summoning sharpened bone attacks by my side.

The guy yelped, immediately turning around and running as I sent three bone attacks flying at him.

They speared into the ground right next to his foot, and he let out a startled yelp before sprinting faster than I thought was possible back down the alleyway.

I chased after him, hissing as I fired more attacks.

None of them hit him, and soon enough he rounded another bend, he disappeared. Not a trace of him.

I growled loudly, looking around for a good few minutes before giving up. I immediately checked my scarf, nearly wanting to cry at the sight of the giant tear in it, ripping it more than it already was.

Clutching it tightly, I walked the rest of the way home slowly, terrified someone else would ruin it.

---Sci's POV----

I scrambled down another alleyway, clutching the piece of fabric tight in my gloved hands. I couldn't have asked for a better opportunity really. Anything from Geno would have been ideal. But some of his scarf is just perfect.

A quick glance behind me confirmed that he was no longer chasing me, so I slowed down, panting softly.

Stage one is done. All I need is to do stage three and four... All I need is a victim...

I winced, looking around for anyone that I could either take by surprise or lure over.

Before I even had time to consider my options a figure appeared at the end of the alleyway and started walking down towards me.

It it was a human male. He was looking down at his phone as he walked, not really paying attention to the world around him.

I gulped, slowly walking forwards as my right hand reached down into my pocket and gripped onto the hilt of the knife.

I had begged Gaster for him to make me do something else, not to kill. But he'd threatened to kill Fell so I had to...

The man and I walked past each other. He gave me a short glance, but then went right back to looking down at his phone.

As soon as he had gone past I slid the knife from my pocket, shaking as I remembered Gaster telling me what to do.

Stab them in the back, then slit their throat. Nice and easy, yes?

I growled, hardening my gaze as I marched over to him. Once I was right behind, I hesitated, but then something seemed to take over me and I gripped onto his shoulder suddenly, making him jolt.

He tried to turn around, but before he could even think about seeing who I was I drove the knife deep into his back, around where the shoulder blade is.

He let out a blood curdling scream, but that was quickly reduced to a choking mess as I ripped the knife out and sliced it over his neck, cutting the skin deeply.

A horrible choked and strangled scream escaped them as they fell to the floor, twitching and thrashing as their hands pressed weakly against their neck, pathetically trying to stop the blood.

They attempted to pull out their phone, but I quickly kicked it out of their hand, not letting them call for help.

I stayed out of their sight for a minute, watching as they flopped about like a dying fish before they suddenly went limp, their blood soaked hands sliding off their neck and to the floor.

I wanted to throw up, but I didn't. I placed the strip of Geno's scarf in the guys hand and curled his fingers around it before standing up and looking around. No one was here.

Immediately I teleported, stumbling slightly as the alleyway around me disappeared, replaced by the familiar walls of Gaster's lab.

I stumbled slightly, dropping the knife as I fell to my knees, coughing and gasping as the realisation of what I'd just done kicked it.

I'd killed someone. An innocent person. They hadn't done anything wrong. They had been completely unaware.

I sensed Gaster floating over and I looked up, shivering at the sight of his horrible grin.

"So~" He purred. "Did you do as I requested~?"

I blinked back tears, nodding as I indicated to the blood soaked knife on the floor next to me.

Gaster's grin widened significantly and he let out a sadistic giggle before floating back over to the board with all the old gang and their partners. He took out a red marker and and drew and X over Genos picture, giggling like a mad man the whole time.

"We're getting closer Sci~" He purred. "Soon those kids will be mine~"

I winced, forcing myself to my feet. "U-Uh sir...I-I've been thinking...a-and I'm wondering why you can't just take a random kid from the streets or attack an orphanage?"

Gaster laughed hysterically, his target symbol eyes locking with mine. He teleported in front of me and I stumbled back, trembling.

"Why I don't just take a random kid from the streets or attack an orphanage? Well, my curious slave...the child must be skeleton. Human or other spices of monsters won't work. You see, those twelve adults are the only known skeletons left in this world, with maybe the possibility of a few more...but they're the only one with children. A child's soul can be twisted, and adults cannot. I need to bond my soul with one child, one child and I'll be all powerful. Having all of them would just make me immortal. And that's just what I want."

He grinned at my horrified expression and chuckled. "Oh Sci, you didn't think I picked them just because they're my enemies?" He shook his head. "No Sci. I'm doing this because I need them."
