What was up with Dream
So some people asked me to explain what happened with Dream and why he was like how he was, why he was so different etc

WELL BASICALLY--
I wanted to base him a LiTtLe bIt off of Dreamswap, in the way that he wasn't smol and weak and that stuff, so there's that.
But what happened to him, was after he saw Nightmare all that time ago in Criminal Conflict, he knew he was still out there and alive. The police station was a burden to him, so he quit it to dedicate the rest of his life to finding his brother. As he did so, he slowly shut out his positive emotions for two reasons.
1). He thought they'd get in the way of trying to find Nightmare and would slow him down.
2). He knew that Nightmare never really liked how positive Dream was, so he hoped that by blocking it out, Nightmare would be happier if he found him.

As this progressed, he slowly lost his positive aura, until he was no longer to do stuff like summon those positivity arrows because he'd blocked it all out. Hence why he uses a normal bow and arrows. While this happened, he learnt how to use fire magic to replace his positivity magic. Otherwise he'd be pretty defenceless.

Towards the end of the book he mellows down at bit, but is still constantly in the thought that he needs to be on guard all the time in case something happens. :3
