---Killer's POV----
I ran over to Nightmare and Cross, my eyes wide as I looked away from the crumpled bodies of the cops. "A-Are you two okay?!"
Nightmare fussed over Cross, quickly checking him before he nodded. "We're fine...thanks..."
Cross pressed against Nightmare, breathing in and out shakily. "M-My shoulder hurts from when we slammed into that wall...b-but otherwise, yeah. Thanks."
My friend nodded, looking around. "I know where your prison friends are, so I suggest we get moving and go find them."
Nightmare nodded before picking up Cross, ignoring his squeaked protests and weak squirming. "Lead the way then, Killers friendboy."
I groaned, blushing slightly as we walked. "Why can't people just be friends with other people without everyone suddenly accusing you of being together and dating?"
"Cuz that's how the world works Killer." Nightmare said, smirking. "There's a shipper inside all of us~"
I shook my head and looked back at my friend, sighing at his stony and unimpressed expression. Sure he had done that thing earlier in that closet thingy, but now it seems as if he's completely forgotten it. "So did you see them?"
He glanced at me, nodding. "Yes, they've been moved to specialist holding cells. Someone must have informed the police of your plan..."
"So we have a traitor?" I growled, glancing back at Nightmare and Cross.
"Not necessarily...maybe X, as you call him, is tracking one or more of you? Maybe the police just figured it out, or maybe it's just pot luck. We don't know yet."
I sighed, nodding. "True...lets not think about it right now and just get Geno, Fresh and ourselves out of here as fast as possible."
"Sounds like a plan to me..." Cross mumbled, burying his face in Nightmare's chest after giving up on struggling. "Just know that I'm not risking my life for either of them..."
"Neither." Nightmare muttered, ignoring the sharp glare I gave him.
"If it was Cross we were all trying to rescue then you'd expect us to risk our lives for him, wouldn't you?" I hissed.
Nightmare growled, nuzzling Cross as he curled up in his arms. "Actually I'd go alone. You retards would only get in my way."
My friend let out a snort of amusement, constantly eyeing Nightmare as he walked. It's almost as if he's trying to recognise or remember him from something.
"You okay?" I asked, poking his arm slightly.
He jolted, tearing his attention away from Nightmare and up at me. "O-Oh! U-Uh, yeah...I'm fine..."
I frowned slightly in confusion, watching as he put on speed and walked along ahead of me, his head down, hood pulled further up.
"Lets just keep moving..." He muttered. "We're nearly there."
I sighed, walking behind him with Nightmare and Cross for the rest of the way, not wanting to annoy him.
He lead us through the maze of hallways until we came across a block labelled 'Cell block J'
"What happened to cell block E, F, G, H, and I?" Nightmare asked, pulling a confused face.
"They don't exist." My friend said, looking at the door. "Don't ask questions. It's just how this prison works. Cell block J is for inmates that had to be moved suddenly, but can't be moved to one of the normal blocks because of no room, preparation, or something else."
"How come you know so much about this prison?" Nightmare asked, narrowing his eye. "Have you worked her before or something? Maybe been an inmate here for a bit?"
My friend stood back, sighing. "The answer you were expecting - It's not important, you don't need to know."
I sighed, looking at the big double doors that were clearly locked. "How are we gonna get in?"
He looked back at me before glancing at Nightmare. "Put him down and stab through where the lock would he with one of those creepy tentacle-arm thingies."
Nightmare blinked in amusement at his way of describing his tentacles, but he nodded, putting Cross back down on the floor before walking towards the door.
"Right here." My friend said, pointing at the lock.
"Oh no shit." Nightmare muttered, rolling his eye before pulling a tentacle back and stabbing the door with it full force.
I jolted as instead of the door being speared through, Nightmare's tentacle crumpled in on itself before going limp. If it had bones I could guarantee he would have at least seven fractures.
"SWEET MOTHER OF JOKU!" Nightmare yelled, hissing in pain as he clutched his seemingly broken tentacle. "What the fuck are these doors made of?!"
"Stuff apparently stronger than tentacles..." I said dryly.
Nightmare growled before aiming the remaining three of his tentacles at the lock. "We'll see about him that."
"Uh Nightmare I don't think that's such a good--...oh well."
Nightmare slammed all three of them at the lock at the same time, grinning in triumph as they speared right through the lock, making a deafening crunch ring out. "First try."
I rolled my eyes, laughing as I glanced at my friend. Immediately upon seeing him my laughter stopped and I frowned.
He looked like he had seed a ghost, his eyes wide with almost horror as he watched Nightmare kick the doors open with a foot, Cross stood right by his side.
I could tell he wasn't shocked from him breaking down the door. It was something else. Something I probably wouldn't understand. I reached out, placing a gentle hand on his shoulder. "Hey, you okay?"
He jolted as he looked at me, but seemed to be honest, shaking his head as he leaned against me shakily. "N-No...I'm not okay..."
"Why?" I asked, cupping his cheek softly.
He flinched at that action, but soon leaned into my hand, letting out a small defeated sigh. "I...you wouldn't understand..."
I looked down, taking my hand away from his face. "Oh." Clearly hurt, I walked past him, almost bumping into Nightmare.
"God are you two done fucking out there?"
"Shut up Nightmare!" I yelled, hating that I was blushing.
"Shhhhhhhhhh..." Nightmare rolled his eye. "If you yell we'll just get caught."
"CROSS?!"
We both nearly had a heart attack as someone yelled Cross' name, the two of us instantly whipping around to look and see where Cross was.
He was stood at the end of the corridor, his arms crossed over his chest as he glared at something in the cell in front of him emotionlessly. "Found them."
Immediately we both rushed over, my friend following behind.
In the cells Cross was looking at were two people pressed against the bars. I instantly recognised them.
"Geno! Fresh!"
Their eyes widened as they saw us and they instantly pressed closer to the bars, desperate to escape.
"Nightmare! Killer!" Geno called, never looking more relieved in his whole life. "You've got to help us!"
"Oh no shit." Nightmare said, rolling his eye. "Cuz we were just here for a little stroll."
"Maybe we did." Cross muttered, leaning against Nightmare's side.
"Oh shut it psycho, I wasn't talking to you." Geno hissed.
Oh boy, that changed the mood of the room.
Cross stiffened, pressing closer to Nightmare, who hissed loudly, growling at Geno. "You are extremely close to having us walk out on you and let you rot in these cells."
"Woah! Bro I didn't do anything!" Fresh said. "Leave Geno here! Not me!"
I sighed. We've been here for two minutes and already the gang is about to fall apart again. "Just shut up...we're all equals now, so just treat everyone nicely. Okay?"
They all looked over at me and blinked. "Who's that?"
I glanced behind me, sensing my friend come up by my side. "Our newest member to the gang."
He glanced at me. "No I'm not."
I exhaled loudly. "Oh well. He's a friend basically."
"Oh." Fresh said, looking disappointed. "I thought you'd finally found yourself a radical boyfriend or something."
I face palmed, shaking my head. "Come on, we're wasting time. Lets just get you two out." I glanced at Nightmare, who was already readying his tentacles, the previously broken one now healed.
"Stand back." Nightmare said before stabbing his tentacles forwards, barely giving them any time to actually stumble back as he smashed through the locks holding the cell doors in place.
They fell with a crash, the actual bars managing to fall out somehow.
"You could have given us a warning!" Geno screeched, pressing himself against the back of his cell.
Nightmare glanced at him before hugging Cross and kissing the top of his skull. "I did."
"Not a very good one!"
I groaned. "If you guys are about to argue every three seconds then I swear to god--"
"GENO?!"
We all turned to see Reaper stood in the doorway, his eyes wide as he caught sight of Geno scrambling out of his cell.
"Reaper!"
They both ran towards each other, both hugging their parter tightly as they fussed over each other, checking they were both okay.
"Reunion later." I said, walking out of the cell block. "We need to find the others and get out of here."
My friend followed close behind me, still eyeing up Nightmare weirdly.
We all walked out in pairs, my friend staying close to me, Cross clinging to Nightmare, and Geno hugging Reaper as they walked.
"Lead us to the main entrance..." I said, glancing at my friend as he nodded.
We walked down the twisting corridors, looking around. We just needed to find Ink, Error, Pj, Gradient, Dust and Blue. Simple.
Just as we rounded another corridor, voices rang it along with the sound of running.
We all just froze, none of us having anywhere to hide. The corridor was plain, absolutely no where to run except the way we came.
Suddenly a shadow bolted around the corner and we all literally screamed as a massive dog came tearing towards us, looking like it was about to rip our heads off.
"SIT!" A voice yelled as for figures scrambled around the corner.
Surprisingly enough, the dog instantly sat, skidding to a stop right in front of us. It growled loudly, clearly wanting to attack us. But it stayed still.
The figures ran over, their eyes widening as they saw us. "Guys!?"
I blinked, recognising one of them. "Error!?"
