---Cross' POV----
I let out a scream as we fell, panicking as I somehow lost my grip on Nightmare and was left falling alone in the darkness.
Luckily, the wall wasn't that long, and a few seconds later I rammed into someone, landing on them with a yelp.
Whoever was beneath me jolted, letting out a muffled groan of pain. "Whoever the fuck landed on me, get off."
I squeaked, rolling off whoever I'd unintentionally landed on before attempting to stand up in the darkness.
The whole room was pitch black, no indications of anything in our surroundings. I couldn't see anything, no matter how hard I looked into the murky darkness.
"Cross?"
I whipped around, squeaking at the sight of Nightmare's glowing blue eye looking down at me. "Y-Your eye's creepy..."
He snorted, wrapping his arms around my waist before pulling me into his chest protectively. "That's the least we have to worry about right now."
A groan sounded by our feet, and whoever I landed on stood up. "Is everyone still alive?"
A few grunts and groans were our answers.
"Perfect..." Nightmare muttered, his hand feeling its way up my arm before locating my shoulder and rubbing it softly. "What now?"
"W-Well we're gonna need some light in here." A voice that sounded like Ink said, stuttering on his words.
No sooner than he'd said that, someone clicked their fingers and a ball of fire appeared in the middle of the room, being held in the hands of Dream. "Better?"
"Much." Everyone mumbled, helping their partners to their feet as they looked around warily.
At this point, Error had finally managed to come back to his senses fully. He was looking round in confusion, keeping Ink close. It was as if he'd forgotten everything that had happened to lead up to this.
"Wh-Wha-- Where are we?" He asked, helping Horror up from the floor.
"In a trap pit." Reaper hissed, glaring over at me. "Blame Cross."
I flinched, deciding to ignore them by burying my face in Nightmare's chest. It's much nicer there. I can just about block them out. Just about manage to pretend we're back at home...snuggled up together...
"Oh shut it Reaper." Dream muttered. "Were alive down here. I guarantee, if we'd stayed up there with that monster, at least three people here would already be dead. So shut it."
Reaper growled softly, but looked away. "So...Cross said these things can kill you some way or other. So what's this one?"
"It better not be those fucking closing in walls..." Geno mumbled, clinging to his lover.
"It'll start soon..." I whispered dryly. "Our only hope of escaping would be if someone opens up the way out from the outside..."
"And who'd do that?" Killer hissed. "X? Cuz then we're just in the same shitty situation all over again."
"Our kids are out there still." I said, catching everyone's attention. "X hasn't got any of them. He's still the same strength as last time."
I pushed my face out of Nightmare's chest, pointing over at a small camera that was lying on the floor in the corner of the room. "And there are security cameras in here, so if Ink and Error's kid can hack the system, then they'll see us and hopefully locate us before whatever happens here, happens."
"And what exactly happens here?" Dust asked, holding a terrified Blue to his chest.
"Well..." I mumbled, gulping as I looked up at the bloodstained ceiling. "The camera is on the floor...so...the ceiling..."
Everyone froze as a metallic clunk sound rang out and everyone's fears came true as the ceiling seemed to start shifting down towards us.
"Th-The ceiling will crush us alive..."
---Chara's POV----
Harsh light blinded my vision as I blinked groggily, starting to wake up. My entire body ached horribly, and I had a pounding head ache. My chest felt as if all the ribs inside it had been either crushed, snapped or twisted. One of my arms was also in agony. "Nnggghhhh..."
Suddenly a figure blocked out the harsh light and a some pink tipped hair brushed in front of my face. "Chara?"
"Mmmm..." I groaned weakly, batting her hair away with my good hand before brushing my own hair off of my face. "What happened...? And where am I...?"
"You're fine..." She whispered, helping me sit up. "Gaster just basically shook you until you lost consciousness. I saved you before he killed you, obviously."
"Thanks..." I muttered through gritted teeth, hissing at the pain that sitting up caused me. "S-So what do we do now...?"
"We need to save Cross and the others." She said, glancing back at the kids.
"Where are they...?"
"Uh, well have to reset the cameras and check. Yo Nerd! Check how the guys are doing!"
A small skeleton dressed in a lab coat and a pair of glasses let out a squeak before running over to one of the massive control panels displaying some security footage feed.
"G-Give me a second to check it, th-the cameras are logging out slightly..."
I winced, swinging my legs over the table so that they brushed against the floor. "What's happened to them, anyway?"
"Last we saw, they were walking down a corridor as a big group..." Incubux muttered, rubbing his arm as he eyed up Sci. "But they will definitely have moved by now...X is on the move..."
I flinched, nodding. "He'll kill them if he catches them. He doesn't care about keeping anyone alive anymore."
Betty glanced over, looking like she was about to say something when the Nerd guy swore, looking panicked.
"Shit."
"What? What's wrong?" Incubux asked, immediately stepping over to him.
"I-I can't find them anywhere on the cameras. It's only showing where X is!"
"What?!" All the kids immediately panicked, rushing over to Sci around the screens. "Wh-Where are they?!"
"I don't known!" He hissed. "These are all the main cameras!"
"Are there any more cameras?" Gradient asked, scanning across the screen frantically.
"Th-There are. B-But those are in dungeon traps!"
"What the hell are dungeon traps?!" We all screeched.
"Th-There are certain places in this lab he X built in traps where the walls or floor can open suddenly and drag you into a dungeon! Th-The dungeons all vary, but all of them kill you within fifteen minutes! Twenty at the max!"
"Check the fucking dungeon cameras them!" All the kids yelled at once, with the exception of all the little ones not swearing of course.
"O-Okay! Okay!" He yelped, his fingers moving across the control panel so fast that it looked like something out of a cartoon.
Suddenly all the screens fizzed and the current feeds were replaced by different ones, each of them showing a large, dark, dungeon-like room.
Everyone's eyes immediately flicked across the screen, searching desperately for any signs of the group of skeletons.
"THERE!"
We all immediately looked in the direction Palette had suddenly pointed at, our eyes widening in surprise as we saw them all crowded in one dungeon room, seemingly panicking as they looked up at the ceiling.
"Wh-What type of dungeon room is that?!" We asked, trying to get closer to the screens.
"Th-That..." Sci stuttered. "Th-That's a ceiling crushing pit trap--"
