Mission Impossible

---Dust's POV----

Everything that happened next was a blur really.

The kid dragged us along, weaving in and out of the spotlight search towers until we reached a slightly ajar office window.

"This is how we're getting in." The kid said, slinging his backpack over his shoulders.

"Are you crazy?!" I hissed. "That's like twenty foot up in the air!"

The kid gave me an odd look. "And?"

"How in whatever Gods name you pray to's  are we ever gonna get up there?!"

"I'm not religious." He said with a small shrug before ripping some of the the clustered ivy against the wall free, as if it was a rope. "Now shut up and follow me."

Before I could even consider saying something in response, he started climbing.

The three of us watched as he scrambled up that ivy covered wall like it was nothing.

"You know it would be so easy if magic wasn't disabled in prison grounds." I grumbled, glancing over to the spotlight search towers quickly before gripping onto the vines.

"Need a boost?" Horror asked from behind me.

"Oh lord please." I said, stepping up onto his intertwined hands. "For once I wish Nightmare was here so that he could throw us up."

Horror snickered before boosting me, helping me up a few feet of the wall before I was left to grip on desperately to the vine-like ivy. How that kid got up here I don't know.

I glanced up at the window to see it slightly wider open, and the kids face was peeking out of it, a hand reached down to help me up.

I hauled myself up before gripping onto his hand, letting out a relived sigh as he pulled me in through the window and into the office where I then sprawled out across the floor.

"Ow..."

"Shut up." He hissed. "We don't want to set off any alarms."

I rolled my eyes before standing up, sighing extremely loudly in my mind. If I did it out loud the kid would have been triggered.

A yelp from behind me signified Lust not so gracefully falling through the window and onto the office floor.

I held back a snicker and instead made my way over to the desk in the middle, wanting to know who's poor office we'd broken into.

There were many plain books on the desk along with a couple of case files that interested me.

I picked some up and skimmed through them, raising an eyebrow as I came across Error's File. Then Nightmare's. Then Cross'. Then mine.

I skimmed over all of them, blinking. They actually had quite good vague ideas of where all of us were hiding out. Except killer, which disappointed me. I wonder what he's been up to.

I placed the files back down in the order I found them, frowning as I saw the nameplate at the front of the desk. I leaned over and nearly had a heart attack. "We're in Ink's office?!" I whisper screeched.

The kid skidded over. "Shut up!"

"But this is the chiefs office! The worst possible office you could have ever chosen!"

He glared at me. "Shut up. If he walks in suddenly and you explain what the hell we're doing here I'm pretty sure he'd pretend he hadn't seen us. You know him and Error were...close."

I snorted. "Close is an understatement."

"Exactly. Now shut up."

Another yelp rang out and we both winced and turned to see that Horror was finally inside the office as well.

"Welcome." I said dryly, loosing more faith in this break out by the second.

"Right." The kid said, searching through Ink's draws until he found a map of the inner layout for the prison.

He unrolled it before pointing at a point on the map. "Right. We're here. And I'm going here." He pointed over at a different point on the map. "You guys need to go here." He pointed to somewhere on the opposite side of the map.

I blinked. "That's where his soul is?"

The kid nodded and grabbed a sketch book from Ink's desk before placing it in his backpack without a word. "Lets go. We don't have long until the shifts change."

He walked out of the office, checking the corridors were both clear before stepping out.

"Right. You go that way, I go this way." Before any of us had any time to say something he was gone, running down the dimly lit corridor.

I looked back at Horror and Lust. "If we fuck this up I'm blaming him."

---??? POV----

I left the three of them and ran off down the prison corridors. I knew where I was going.

The watch station they call it. The place where all the security camera feeds go to.

I reached the door and pushed it open slightly, wincing as I saw that two people were sat there, glancing lazily at the screens in front of them that showed the whole of the prison from different places.

Reaching into my backpack, I pulled out a small bit of pipe I'd found earlier. I was going to have to knock them out, like I did to that scientist back in that old lab.

I gripped it tightly, glancing over at all the different screens. I could see myself actually, stood there behind them with the pipe. I stiffened as one of them leaned forwards, pointing at a screen.

"Hey what's th--"

CLANG

They slumped down, unconscious.

Their friend whipped round, their eyes widening as they saw me.

"Hey you can't be h--"

THUMP

They slumped down as well, unconscious.

I hummed, shoving them off of their seats and crouching down in front of the control panel.

Taking out a memory stick from my backpack, I plugged it into a thing. The thing the guy had gone to point out earlier had been Horror, Lust and Dust. So I had to act fast.

I was satisfied to see the security screens fizz and black out for a moment before showing up again. This time, Horror, Lust and Dust were no longer there. Invisible.

Looping over feed is so easy these days.

I then dragged the two unconscious bodies down the corridor and into a wardrobe where I left them, tied up and gagged.

I hummed the Mission Impossible theme as I went, making mock spy poses as I rounded every corner.

I felt like I was in my very own spy movie. Except this was real, not some stunt where the actors are paid millions.

Nah. I'm doing this all for free really.

Eventually I reached a long corridor and I sprinted down it, still humming Mission Impossible.

At the end of the corridor was a large door, belonging to the most fortified cell in the prison, keeping the most dangerous prisoner inside. Only accessible by Ink, the chief of Craitown Prison.

I continued to hum, walking up to the door.

"State your name." A machine voice rang out.

I stopped humming, and cleared my throat. "Ink Comyet."

Nothing happened for a moment, and then a hand print scanner came out along with the password screen.

I winced.

Fuck.

That handprint thing could be a problem.

I decided to go for it, slipping my gloves off and placing my hand against the scanner.

It flashed for a moment before a verified sign popped up, making me blink.

Okay then.

I then typed in the password, knowing clearly what it was.

"Welcome Ink."

The door clicked before unlocking, letting me pull it open.

Error was sat wide awake in his cell, a confused expression on his face. "I-Ink?"

I stepped forwards, smirking as I pulled down my mask covering my mouth. "Nope."

Error froze for a moment before breaking out into a grin. "I thought you'd left forever, son."

I laughed. "Oh you think so low of me, dad."
