---Ink's POV----
The massive box was in my office when I walked into it. I hadn't had any warning about it. I just walked in to see to large cardboard box, covered in red DANGER signs.
I blinked, slowly taking a step closer to the box as I pulled by brush from my back.
I scanned across as the box, tilting my head to the side as I saw the note attached to the front of the box.
Taking a quick step forwards, I snatched the note from the box.
"Dear Ink, I found this and thought you could put good use to it...I suggest making it guard...prisoner three hundred and fifty three...from Matt..."
I dropped the note, blinking. Prisoner three hundred and fifty three...
That's Error.
Suddenly the box jolted, making me jump and let out a yelp.
I looked back at the box, a shiver running down my spine as a soft growl emitted from it.
Matt is the man that funds a lot of Craitowns police force. He's forever paying for and or sending in new things that help us catch or keep in criminals. But this is the first time he's brought us something...alive.
"Uh..." I backed up quickly, poking my head out of my office door to see if anyone there could help me.
I called out upon spotting one of our newer recruits. A guy that goes by the name of Xcellence.
"Xcellence!"
He stopped, turning back to look at me. "Yeah?"
I beckoned him over, glancing back at the box as it shifted slightly.
He pulled a confused expression, but started walking over anyway. "What is it Chief?"
I pulled him into my office, pointing at the giant box.
Xcellence blinked. "Uh..."
"Do you know what this is?" I asked, eyeing the box warily.
Xcellence shrugged. "Nope. Why don't you open it?"
A sudden growl emitted from the box, followed by the sound of splintering wood as whatever was in there tried to get out.
"That's why..."
"Oh..."
Both of us stood there in silence for a moment before Xcellence bent down, picking up the piece of paper I'd dropped and turning it over to look at the back.
"It says the code to open the chest is five one eight four...and apparently it's been trained not to hurt you..."
I winced, looking over at the giant code lock attached to the side of the crate.
"You wouldn't want to piss whatever's in there off..." Xcellence said, passing me the piece of paper.
I groaned, looking down at the note quickly before stepping towards the crate. I hesitantly entered the code, each number making me even more tense.
As the last button was pressed the crate seemed to fall apart, opening up to reveal what was inside.
I instantly stumbled back at the sight of it.
It was a dog. A demon dog.
It's fur was pitch black, rough and matted, the dull red of dried blood visibly clumping parts of the fur together.
Its sides were covered in long scars. Some looked old, fully healed, inflicted ages ago. But some seemed quite fresh, still wet with blood.
It's tail was matted as well, the fur looking like it had been brushed backwards with a comb.
Around it's neck there was a heavy metal collar and it looked like it was digging into its skin. Specks of dried blood were splattered over its dull silver surface.
"Well you look like you've got this handled now so I'll just go! Bye!"
I spun around, panicking. "Xcellence no!"
He was already gone.
I gulped harshly, looking back at the massive wolf-like dog. It's blood red eyes stared right into my mismatched ones, its expression dry and cruel.
"H-Hi?" I stuttered, taking a small cautious step forwards.
It blinked, tilting its head to the side.
I winced, noticing the note attached to its collar. "U-Uh...I-I'm just going to get this off of you..." I whispered, edging closer.
It watched me as I reached out, wrapping my hands around its collar. It seemed far too tight, definitely painful.
Frowning slightly, I tugged at the collar.
I wasn't expecting it to come off, but it crumbled in my hands, falling to the floor. I grabbed the note before that fell, blinking in shock.
No sooner than I had grabbed the note, the demon dog pressed against me. It rubbed its side against my leg, a happy rumble emitting from it.
I tilted my head to the side, reaching down to pet it slightly. It's reaction was to sit down, looking at me happily.
I continued to pet it subconsciously as I read over the note.
Hey Ink, sorry for the surprise with no warning but here he is. I found this guy on an illegal black market and took him from the sellers. I don't have any use for it so I've sent him here. He's trained don't worry and should obey you and ONLY you. I hope he gets treated better here than he did back in the market. Oh and he may look quite cute or whatnot but I saw him maul five people to death back at the market so he careful!
P.S - He eats normal dog food so you can put it in with the inmates food :D
P.P.S - I don't think he has a name so think of one pls!

I glanced back down at the nameless dog, thinking. "Hey."
The dog looked up at me, panting slightly as it stood up.
"Sit."
It immediately sat down, its tongue hanging out of its mouth as he panted.
I smiled nervously, patting its head. "Good boy. Now stand."
It stood up, letting out a yawn as it did so.
I flinched, looking at its blood-stained needle sharp teeth. They would easily tear through flesh and chomp through bone.
Errors going to 'love' this.
"Okay...um...follow?"
It looked at me, no longer panting as it waited for me to go somewhere.
I exhaled, rubbing my eye sockets before walking over to my office door and opening it, letting the dog walk out before I shut it behind us.
"Right then..." I muttered. "Off to see Error..."
As I walked down the corridor the dog followed, staying close by my side. Its back came above my waist, and it would be around twice the size of me if it stood up on its hind legs.
I ignored the shocked, confused and questioning looks I got from any work colleagues. I just kept walking, steadily making my way down to Error's cell.
The dog would occasionally glance up at me, staring at me intently before looking back in front of us.
A few minutes of walking later and we'd made it. Inmate three hundred and fifty three's cell.
I looked down at the dog. "Sit."
It sat, glancing around curiously at its surroundings.
"Good boy..." I muttered, pressing my hand against the scanner.
It took a few seconds for my handprint to verify, but as soon as it had the keypad for the code slid out of the wall, waiting for me to enter the password.
Stepping forwards, I pressed down on the numbers, frowning in concentration.
"Welcome Ink."
I hummed, watching as the thick iron door slid open slowly.
The cell was programmed so that only I would be able to open it. No one else. Just me.
Once the door was fully open I stepped through, eyeing up the figure sat down in the far left corner.
"Heya Inky."
I didn't answer, indicating at the dog to come in.
Error blinked in confusion. "Ink is something–" He cut himself off as the dog walked in, going tense and backing up.
"This was sent here today..." I muttered. "He'll be guarding you in here, extra precaution..."
Error looked the dog up and down warily, earning a loud growl from it.
"Well then..."
I sighed, going to turn and leave.
"I-Ink wait! Please!"
I froze, slowly turning back to face him. "What is it, Error?"
He looked down. "You never talk to me anymore...i-it's almost as if you've changed..."
I tensed, immediately walking over and crouching down next to him. "That's because there are security cameras in this cell glitchy..." I whispered, kissing his cheek gently.
Error's face heated up slightly, going yellow as he pulled against the restraints, trying to get closer to me.
"I-I don't like being away from you..." He muttered, looking up at me sadly.
I nodded, pulling back and standing up. "I don't like it either...but you've still got several years to serve here..."
Error huffed, looking to the side. "Why can't I have a sentence like Geno and get to live with you instead of like this?"
I chuckled softly, cupping the side of his face with my hand. "I want that too Error, but that's not how it works I'm afraid..."
Error nodded, sighing. "Well you better get going now before stuff seems suspicious..."
I nodded, walking back out of the cell.
"Stay." I ordered to the dog. "Guard him."
The demon dog glanced at Error before sitting down, yawning and showing its sharp teeth to Error.
I'm sure they'll get along.
---Error's POV----
I stared at the massive dog as Ink locked the cell doors again.
I shifted to the side slightly, trying to get comfier.
Immediately it growled standing up once more.
I panicked, freezing. "U-Uh...good doggie?"
