---Error's POV----

I grabbed Ink and ran, sparing a moment to glance behind me and check that Pj and Gradient were close behind.

The officers shot at us and I quickly dragged all three of them down a random fork in a crossroads of corridors, seeing Nightmare and Cross do the same.

Thankfully the majority of the cops seemed to follow Nightmare and Cross. A selfish thing for me to be happy about, I know. But my family comes before my friends.

"F-Follow me!" Ink yelled, running ahead of me as he gripped onto my hand tighter, constantly looking back behind him to check that Gradient and Pj were following close behind.

I let him lead us through the twisting corridors, trusting him completely. He probably knows this place better than anyone else that works here. "Where are we heading?!"

Ink skidded around another corner, panting softly as he ran. "Somewhere they shouldn't search!"

We rounded one more corner before Ink skidded to a stop at a large set of double doors, pausing before pulling out some keys and unlocking them.

"Be careful..." He muttered before walking inside.

"Okay?" I blinked, walking in behind him.

Oh, boy. I did not expect what came next.

Not a second after I'd stepped into the room, an incredible force barrelled into my side and tackled me to the ground, sending me slamming into the hard concrete floor.

Sharp claws dug roughly into my side and I nearly screamed, thrashing desperately beneath whatever was on top of me.

"OFF! NOW! BAD DOG!"

Suddenly whatever was on me jumped off, and I gasped, scrambling back against the wall until I felt my spine press against the cold wall.

Stood there in front of me, was the dog. The one that had guarded me in my cell. The one with the blood stained teeth as sharp as Cross' knives, black matted fur clumped with blood, and those dark red eyes that could burn right into my soul.

I gulped, pressing myself closer against the wall as it suddenly stood up, starting to stalk towards me again.

"SIT!" Ink yelled, glaring at the demon dog.

It sat, but with a lot of reluctance.

Ink crouched down next to me, sighing as he hugged me tightly. "Sorry Error...I should have been more clear with my warning..."

The demon dog tilted its head to the side curiously, watching as Ink hugged me. It obviously hadn't expected that. Thinking about it, it's probably been trained to attack me, or ensure that I don't escape prison, so seeing as I did earlier, it clearly wasn't happy.

Ink sighed, hugging me tighter. "This is..." He trailed off. "Actually...he doesn't have a name yet, but uh, this is our newest addition to the police force, stolen from the black market and specifically trained to attack you if you do anything against prisoner boundaries."

I blinked. "Right then..."

The dog growled at Gradient, but seemed fine with Pj. He's probably seen him before.

Ink sighed again, motioning for the dog to come over.

It stood up, slowly padding over to the two of us, it's lips peeled back to show it's uncomfortably sharp looking teeth.

"Error hold your hand out." Ink whispered, nuzzling me.

"Are you crazy?!" I hissed, shaking my head.

"Error...just do it..."

I inhaled sharply, eyeing the dog warily as I slowly reached out a shaking hand, watching as it growled softly.

It sniffed my hand, narrowing its eyes as it bared its fangs.

"No." Ink said sharply, glaring at him. "No hurting him. Error's good."

The dog eyed me warily and I did the same in response. And then suddenly it pressed its muzzle against my hand, rubbing against it.

I blinked in surprise before cautiously petting him, rubbing lightly under his jaw.

He let out some sort of rumbling purr, padding closer before flopping down in front of Ink and I, looking happy.

"Huh...he's actually kind of calm..." I said, leaning against Ink slightly as he let out a little giggle, nodding.

I glanced to the side as Gradient and Pj sat down next to us, relaxing. "Well now we can relax a bit..." I muttered, wincing as the sound of gunshots and yells rang out in the distance.

"Yeah..." Ink muttered. "If only all the others could be doing the same..."

---Dust's POV----

I felt the pain before I saw the cops. An incredible spike of what can only be described as pure agony shattered through my shoulder, making me cry out in pain before almost collapsing, clutching my shoulder tightly.

"Dust?!" Blue panicked, grabbing onto me as my vision went slightly blurry. "Stay with me!" He yelled, pulling me along and away from the cops.

I stumbled after him, trying to clear my mind as it went all foggy, my wound throbbing horribly.

Blue tugged me round a corner before pushing me through a pair of double doors.

I tripped, collapsing to the floor on the other side, unable to move any further. Pulling my hand away from my shoulder, I saw that my hand was soaked with my own blood. I nearly fainted at the sight.

Blue was clearly panicking as he dragged me along, whispering reassuringly as he somehow managed to drag my dead weight behind some sort of long desk or counter. I couldn't really tell what it was because of how blurry my vision was.

"D-Dust don't worry!" Blue stuttered, pulling my blood-soaked hoodie off of my shoulder as well as my once white-grey shirt. "I-I'm going t-to heal you!"

I could feel him pressing his hands against my wound, the warm feeling of healing magic almost immediately starting to flow through my body. I purred weakly, resting my head in his lap.

"Th-There we go..." Blue mumbled. "J-Just stay awake and you'll be f-fine..."

I nodded drowsily, purring louder as he kissed the top of my skull. "Thanks Blue...I should have tried to dodge it..."

"You can't dodge a bullet, silly." Blue said, smiling fondly down at me.

"I could at least try next time." I mumbled, snickering slightly.

"Mmhm." He giggled, hugging me once my shoulder was healed.

I sat up sleepily, letting my vision clear as the fog in my mind slowly faded away, letting me think more clearly. "Wh-What do we do now?"

Blue hugged me tightly, sighing. "You're in no condition to break Geno and Fresh out...we're gonna leave, now."

"B-But the others--"

"They can cope without us." He said, pulling me up to my feet.

I had to have a minute like that, just letting my vision clear up. That when I realised that we were in the cafeteria. "Oh, we're here."

"I'm getting us out of here." Blue said, a surprising amount of determination in his voice. "Just don't let go of my hand."

"I won't." I whispered, holding onto his his hand before intertwining our fingers.

Blue blushed slightly and gently pulled me along to the double doors, peaking out to check if there were cops before running out with me close behind. "This way!"

I yelped as I was yanked along, having my arm nearly dislocate itself as I tripped, stumbling to keep up with Blue. "S-Slow down!"

He kept running, weaving through all the corridors with surprising accuracy seeing as the last time he came here was fifteen years ago.

I panted, my shoulder aching as I ran along, trying to take in the prison lay out. I failed.

"Here we are!" Blue yelled, reaching the front entrance.

It had a key pad to the side, and a lock to get it open.

I watched in surprise as he pulled out a key, quickly inserting it into the lock before typing in a code as fast as possible.

"Ink gave me these." He muttered before the doors suddenly swung open. "Come on!"

I yelped as he yanked me out, running as fast as he could, away from the prison. Away from my trapped friends.
