CHAPTER TWENTY SIX: OH YES MOMMY

THIRD PERSON POV

"We just recieved some feedback from the autospy team. They noticed some substance inside of Yoona's blood. Also, the baby was given a DNA test and was proven to be Sunghyo's biological baby. It is quite shocking, on how to bring this out to the public," Chief Officer Yugyeom said.

"Don't worry, keep this private for now. We still have tons of questions unanswered. Can you send me the files later?" Yuuri replied as she kept driving, the phone on loudspeakers.

"Will do Ms. Yuuri. We will conduct a lab test report on the substance we found. But it is still unknown," he replied.

"What about the blood. There was a certain name written in Yoona's blood," Yuuri replied.

"Bae Soujin.... it's better to interrogate her. Although we still do not know about her whereabouts, and how related she is," Yugyeom replied.

"Fine, I'll call you back," Yuuri replied before hanging up.

"Those suspicious emails, and now this? Just what and who is having such a gut to pick with Soujin?" Yeonjun said and Yuuri sighed.

"I don't know to be honest, this has to be a very twisted one. The child trafficking, the unknown drug, there's something not adding up. It's obvious there is a third party involved," Yuuri replied.

"Ms. Yuuri?" A voice called, and Yuuri hummed to Hoseok who was looking down on his phone.

"I think I may know where Soujin is, but we need your help first."

SOUJIN POV

"Y-you!" I said, and the man stood there crossing his arms.

I scanned the attorney's badge which was visible on him. He was older than me, around Ms. Yuuri's age, wearing a suit.

Mr. Byun Baekhyun.

"You're like a raccoon. Always hiding and thinking you'll never be caught, just what do you think you're doing being such a hero?" Baekhyun said as he looked at the files in my hand.

"What about you? Getting military involved, the harmful drugs you make, and the way this company is hiding things is disgusting, they're more of a raccoon," I replied before standing up.

"Don't be smart with me. If you're looking for evidence, you're in the wrong place. Let's face it, who will they believe? A senior attorney, or a weak rookie like you?" Baekhyun said and I thought as fast as I can.

I pushed the boxes beside me, throwing them on Baekhyun before taking my things and bolting out of the door, he groaned as he fell to the floor.

"It's too late!" He yelled and the military came charging in, running towards me with their guns.

But suddenly, I was pulled away as I started to run as fast as I can, following this person who dragged me by the hand. He wore a mask, so I couldn't see his face.

We quickly turned a corner and swiftly got in one of the rooms, panting as we tried to catch our breaths.

"Are you alright?" A voice said and I looked up at the person who was wearing camouflage uniform and a gun on his hand.

"And what are you doing here? Thank you, by the way," I replied.

"I was with Hyebin and Jongseong, but we got infiltrated by San's assasins. I had to bring them somewhere safe, and I thought of helping... after Jimin told me," Yoongi replied as he took his mask off.

"That's good if Jongseong and Hyebin are fine. But, look at this," I said as I took the folder and handed it to him.

He read it slowly, reading the words as I flashed a UV light on them.

"These are reports on guys who got discharged early due to violent means," he muttered.

"Exactly, but you know what's weird? They have a dose written in each profile, with different numbers," I thought.

"It could be.... that these men were given the LIVV drugs. It could mean they aren't the military themselves, but a secret assasination group formed by the military in the means of using the drug, as to why they always follow orders without any hesitation," I said and Yoongi nodded.

"That's a good summary. Keep this, we might need this in the future," he said and I nodded as I put it in my suitcase.

"We should go, it's time for you to get out of here. I'll go save the others, you find Jongseong and Hyebin and keep them safe," Yoongi said.

"No, I'm staying to help you," I replied and Yoongi furrowed his brows.

"Listen, you have important information, it's best you stay away," he replied.

"I was the one who discovered this in the first place and I was the one who told this to you guys, it's only right for me to help you guys out of this mess, I'm not a damsel in distress," I replied and Yoongi sighed.

"Also, I'm not leaving my client behind. It would be unprofessional. Also, it would be safer to be with you guys rather than me escaping by myself. It is not guaranteed that SAN's men can also track me down as I am finding Hyebin and Jongseong, which will lead to a triple win with them. The military men are scouting everywhere now, best we keep hidden ourselves," I said and Yoongi sighed as he thought about it deeply.

"Hmp, now I know why that jerk...., nevermind," Yoongi said before taking my arm and creaking the door open for a bit.

"The coast is clear, we should move quick if we want to get to them," Yoongi said before opening the door and running outside with me.

"Halt! Stop right there!" A voice said as if someone noticed us even with the slightest bit of noise, lots of men came charging in with guns.

"Soujin!" Yoongi yelled before pushing me aside, and I landed on the floor behind a door as the men charged at him, taking him by the arms.

"The commander said we must take them both alive to him," one of them said.

"Soujin! The door!" Yoongi yelled again, and I looked at him hesitantly before looking at him, and sighing.

"Hey! I'm the one you guys want! Not him!" I yelled, and the men looked at me as if being controlled.

Of course, those doses of LIVV.

"It's Bae Soujin! The one the commander also wants!" They said as they ran towards me.

"No one is getting Bae Soujin first aside from me," a voice said and my eyes widened as the door suddenly broke open.

Three people suddenly entered, and Yoongi's eyes softened as he sighed in relief, looking at the figures.

"Ms. Yuuri?!" I yelled, and Yuuri looked at me before smiling.

"There you were, I was worried sick, but we'll save the hugging for later, there seems to be a problem," she said and Yeonjun and another guy nodded.

"I recieved your message hyung, we're here now," the unfamiliar guy smiled, like sunshine.

"By the way, how did you guys know we were here?" I asked.

FLASHBACK

"I have a GPS tracking of my friend, and he's with Soujin," Hoseok said and Yuuri and Yeonjun looked at the lab.

"This is where they are? Don't tell me Soujin turned into some lab rat of SAN didn't she?" Yuuri said and Hoseok walked around the exit doors.

"Nope, something about inflitrating but I could be wrong, I'm tracking them through GPS," Hoseok replied before looking at one of the iron doors.

BANG!

The iron door gave out a loud noise, and Yuuri sighed before looking at Yeonjun.

"Yeonjun, do you remember that firecracker technique we did in our last case?" Yuuri asked and Yeonjun buried his hand in his suitcase.

"Yup."

END OF FLASHBACK

"Get them!" The men said and Yuuri dodged them as Yeonjun and the guy ran towards me and Yoongi.

"Soujin! Are you alright! I was so worried about you? Don't you run off again!" Yeonjun said with visible worry in his eyes, and I sighed.

"Quick! Get on your feet! We'll have to get through these men if you're gonna make it out alive," Yuuri said before looking at the group.

THIRD PERSON POV

"Taehyung! There's a door there! Use it quick!" Jungkook yelled as he punched a guy in the face.

"I can't just leave you guys here!" Taehyung yelled back as he shot a man with the gun, and Jimin groaned.

"We're here for critical information, doesn't matter if me and Jungkook lose a leg, just go to the computer!" Jimin yelled and Taehyung looked at the ground before shutting his eyes hard.

He opened the door before running as fast as he can, towards the main room. He hacked the place, and he knows the rooms in the lab, so he ran as fast as he can towards the destination.

As he quickly stopped infront of the door which read main information room, he opened it quickly before bolting inside and walking towards the huge computer displayed.

As he connected his own computer to synch the files, his eyes widened as he felt a sudden voice.

"Taehyung, stop."

His knees felt weak and his eyes widened as he loosened his hold onto the computer, he landed sloppily on the floor as it felt like he couldn't move anymore, like his hands and feet were like lead, and he tried to struggle out of it.

"Eh, didn't know you're still such a dog," a voice chuckled as it became louder, and Taehyung was losing control in himself.

"How wise, you were too wise actually," they said as they looked at the computer before closing it.

"You thought you were so smart, but you're just being too.. stupid this time..... I mean, even going as far as changing your name to V," they said as they walked towards Taehyung.

"You're as stupid as an animal... afterall..

...you're the first ever LIVV child test subject."
