CHAPTER TWENTY FIVE: TO FIGHT

YUURI POV

"Park Yoona is proclaimed dead, as well there was an unidentified baby in her room. It seemed to be atleast a year old," Hoseok said as he called the other police in his phone.

"Alright, we'll be there. Try to hold on for a minute, we're sending groups," they said before hanging up.

"So those are where the cries came from," I said as I picked the baby up from the bed, as she was crying loudly.

She seemed to calm down a bit as she sensed my presence, snuggling into me.

"Woah Yuuri noona, you seem great with babies. I mean, you're in the age to be a mom so-," Yeonjun said and I stared at him before sighing.

"Can we stop talking about my age for atleast one day?! I'm not even that fond of children," I sighed.

"It seemed like Yoona had no intentions of dying. She even showed some signs of struggle by the way her body was tense and in a defense angle. There must be something that happened," Hoseok said as he observed her body.

"But actually, is there any hunch that Yoona and Sunghyo.... did they have something more than a scandal?" Yeonjun asked, and Hoseok nodded.

"I mean, Sunghyo pretty much is a famous guy. And is deemed single to his fans, withour any speculation or connection to Yoona until their scandal. It's probably that the cameras caught him being with Yoona at the wrong time," I explained as I looked down at the baby.

"But how will we get answers from the child trafficking incident? Surely, Sunghyo is involved. But to be more specific, we need evidence that leads to him being the main culprit," Yeonjun replied, and I looked up, before cocking a brow.

"We can get DNA samples and we can visit the bar... but..." I paused.

"Yeonjun, there's something in there. Something in red," I said, and Yeonjun narrowed his eyes as he stared at the cracked mirror, and it was soaked with Yoona's blood.

"It probably got involved in Yoona's way of dying... but...," Yeonjun said as he slowly approached the mirror.

And his eyes widened.

"Bae... Sou... Jin?"

SOUJIN POV

"Didn't I tell you guys to... agh.. forget it.... I'm going in there," V said through the mic and Jungkook shushed him.

"You focus on your own life you dumbass. They already know your presence and now you wanna get near them?" Jungkook asked and V sighed.

"What's important is that LIVV drug right now. And... my life isn't important to begin with anyway," V replied as he began typing.

"I started hacking the security system and they sensed it and now it's on high alert. If you can meet me at the emergency exit at Hallway B I can sneak inside there," V said and Jimin shook his head.

"V, you can't do that. We don't know the risk of having you here, it can cause danger for all of us," Jimin said.

"Listen Jimin, it's even more dangerous here. They know my location and I'm hiding right now, they least expect me to get inside there because it can risk your safety, so it's better for me to stick in there to confuse them," V replied and Jungkook sighed.

"Fine, since you won't stop. You hacked the lock, right? We're near the exit, we'll unlock it for you, then we're setting off to the control room," Jungkook replied before sneaking first into the hallway V mentioned.

"Careful, we might set off alarms and notify the one watching us," I warned him and he complied while he unlocked the door.

Then, V stood there, smiling softly before shooting finger guns at us.

"Told ya I'd be fine, now let me in there," he smiled.

"Stop right there!" A voice behind us said, and we looked at the group behind us, watching us closely as they held their guns up.

Military men in camouflage uniforms were there, pointing K1A rifles at us as their eyes were protected by black shades and masks.

"Soujin!" V yelled as he suddenly lunged at me, pulling me down just as a bullet was fired towards me.

Jungkook quickly took his gun out before aiming it at the one of tried to shoot me.

"What the heck is your nerver, are you that excited to let her die?" Jungkook said, super pissed, as if his nerves were gonna pop out.

"You aren't allowed to be here. You broke the rules, and you should die," they said and Jimin brought his gun out before aiming it at them.

"V, get Soujin to a safe place. Don't let anyone near her, if she dies... it's gonna be over," Jimin said, and V nodded as he shielded me.

"Let me help, V. I can take care of myself too," I tried to speak, but V covered me.

"You try to get yourself alive. No good person like you, needs to get your hands dirty for dirty low people like us," V smiled before getting up.

"V, no.. but-" I tried to say.

"Oh so it is," they said, before aiming at Jungkook, releasing bullets.

But Jungkook was swift enough as he shot them down before they could shoot him.

He ran forward before launching a flying kick on the stomach of that military officer, before fighting them hand in hand as they tried to stop him, Jimin joining in as V guided me to another room.

Jimin snatched a rifle from the soldier before gunning some of them down, and more started to flood the hallways.

As I shut the door. I sighed as I looked at the long but eerie hallway, it was silent but unexpected at the same time.

I walked in some random rooms, those without any locks or those that were already opened. I was trying to find some clues about the gist.

About LIVV... and how even Korea's military got into this.

And what about the president? Does Blue House even know about this?!

I walked into one of the rooms, before I stumbled upon one full of files and other papers, I closed the door before going down on one knee before searching the papers, finding a piece of information.

"Effects of this.... SAN's files...," I mumbled as I searched through the papers, before stumbling upon a folder.

"Military 009 Project, collaboration with SAN?" I read silently.

I opened the files before squinting my eyes.

Blank.

Unless...

I took something out of my suitcase, it was a UV light. It was something I knew would come in handy, I took the papers before flashing the light on it, and I looked at the words that were finally visible.

If they did a long way to put UV ink in this, it must be important.

I read the first page.
