CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR: WHOLE LOTTA RED

SOUJIN POV

"Yes? What is it?" Jimin asked as he approached them, wearing the female nurse outfit.

Yes, after so much of Jungkook's complaints.

Jungkook quickly shielded me with his arm, trying his best to block me out of their view, and he stepped infront of me.

"Didn't you hear? The head doc said to step away from the research lab. They're finding some inflitrators," one of the people there said, and Jimin nodded.

"Yes of course. I was just.... helping these people to the evacuation area. I'll see you later," Jimin smiled as he tried to straighten the wig on his head.

"You're a fine woman, Miss.... Kim Jina? You have a beautiful name too, I hope I get to see you more," the doctor smiled and Jimin smiled back hesitantly.

"Yes, of course. Thank you, doc!" He sang, and the group walked away, and we let out a huge sigh of relief.

"Hey, haven't seen you dressed like a woman in a while," Jungkook smirked and Jimin rolled his eyes.

"What can I say? I have my perks, Jungkook," Jimin said.

"That guy was a doctor here. He must know the directions to the big computer where all files are stored," I said, and Jungkook nodded.

"There's also a 90% chance it could be locked. The doors could be locked due to the alarm system. We have to access the control panel here too if we need to access info regarding LIVV," I explained and Jimin rubbed his chin.

"I mean, I think I do have a way in unlocking the doors. SAN Lab is advanced, and so the locks aren't gonna be the easy padlock key types. We need to have a genius like V in these situations," Jungkook replied.

"Although, V is unavailable at this time due to him running away from the people who found out his hacking. So there must be someone in your group who knows hacking, right?" I asked.

"I mean... all I know is V-"

"I can."

We both looked at Jungkook, who slowly raised his hand. And Jimin gave him the are-you-serious look.

"You? Hacking? I thought the only thing you knew was how to be a dumbass," Jimin replied and Jungkook rolled his eyes.

"I might be one, but I'm the leader here. I do know some hacking because V forces me to learn it for emergency reasons," he replied and Jimin sighed.

"Oh Lord please give me strength to trust this man," Jimin chanted as we went on our way.

THIRD PERSON POV

"Mr. San, Bae Soujin and two other men have infitrated the lab area just now. They might have known about the LIVV drug," San's secretary said.

"Also, Sunghyo... your bestfriend wants to speak to you on the phone," he said as he handed him the phone.

"Ah.... San. I need a favor," he said, and San hummed as he looked at the view in his crystal globe office.

"Yes? Tell me anything. Also, you have the kids... the orphans, right?" San asked, and the other man chuckled.

"Oh yes, I heard your little one ran away. I hope you get him back as soon as possible. I'll get to the point in what I want, send me some military troops," Sunghyo said and San raised a brow.

"And why is that?" San replied.

"A certain someone has blown the plan up. I never expected him to be one of the police. I also heard that there were some company he bumped into that's related to the Bae Soujin," he replied.

"Ah yes, I heard Soujin worked under a famous female attorney, if that is so it would be hard if you ever get caught, I'll think about it," he said, and they both exchanged farewells before hanging up.

"The LIVV information, tell me if it is still in data," he asked, and the secretary nodded.

"It is still secured. Do you want us to obliterate the information before they can find it?" The secretary asked, and San looked out the window.

"Secretary Yoon, did you ever wonder why the drug is called LIVV?" San asked, and the secretary shook his head.

"LIVV. What is life if it is without any struggles, and any hardships and shame? What is life if there's no failure? The world only turns to those who are perfect, and they spit on those once that perfect person is tainted with their mistakes from the past?" San asked.

"To live is a luxury, but a living hell at the same time, and the people are the monsters," San grinned.

"Then why.... is LIVV still not released? Why is it a private and illegal drug? I'm curious," the secretary asked.

"The rich would not like such a drug, because they'll do anything to refute anything that disrupts their money source. That is why this drug is only being tested on an individual, to test the effects and outcomes of the drug and is open to specific individuals," San replied.

"Does your father... know about this?" The secretary asked.

"My father.... doesn't even care as long as money flows in SAN, even if you do fucked up shit.... he wouldn't care as long SAN grows into a multi-billionaire company," San said, and the secretary saw something in his eyes.

Nothing.

"Oh hello," a voice came out of Taehyung's headphones, and his eyes widened.

"Who.... are you?" Taehyung asked as he continued to type nervously.

"Don't even think about escaping. It's pretty funny you said you'd help but let's face it, you're not even planning to set foot and you're letting the others do dirty business for you," the voice chuckled.

"That's not right. This is for my benefit too, and I'm helping people uncover the shit you evil people buried," Taehyung replied as he stopped typing.

"You better stop trying to get hack into the security system. You're not as great as you seem to be. Yes, your capacity as a genius can be applauded, but just so you know you're in my watch now.... so don't bother trying harder," the voice replied.

"Wh-who are you to know me?! What... what are you?" Taehyung replied nervously, his glasses slowly shifting down.

"You don't have to know me. Let's just say, you're pattern is very familiar that it reminds me of you. So goodbye."

YUURI POV

"Now that I think about it, why haven't you called Soujin instead of turning Seoul upside down finding her?" Yeonjun asked and Yuuri sighed.

"Her phone is unreachable, no signal since yesterday. It was hard," I sighed and Hoseok looked out the car window.

"This is Park Yoona's place? It looks small," Hoseok said and I fixed my stuff before getting out.

She lived in a crowded apartment somewhere in Seoul. It wasn't very well known but was very close to Itaewon by subway.

"I'm not in the place to judge the person I'm visiting," I sighed as I walked to the staircase.

"Is Yoona connected to Ichiwon then? Ichicwon sure has a reputation, but.... we're talking about the kids and Sunghyo here," Yeonjun said.

"That's why we start shallow before we go deeper Yeonjun. Yoona and Sunghyo know each other and they've been together secretly I heard, but hasn't been released to the media," I explained and Hoseok followed us.

"This is Yoona's place. Just knock on the door," I said and Yeonjun nodded before knocking thrice.

No response.

"That's weird. We scheduled an appointment, did she run away?" Hoseok said and I pressed my ear on the door.

Waaaahhhh!!

Waaaah!

My eyes widened as I looked at Hoseok and Yeonjun, then I gestured Yeonjun to press his ear on the door too.

"Stand back," I said as I pulled the two boys behind me.

"Y-Yuuri noona are we really gonna do this?!" Yeonjun's face went pale as I stretched my arms.

"There's something weird in there, something is happening that we don't know. And if we don't get to it, who knows what other shits we would miss," I said as I took a fire extinguisher beside the front door.

"You have a point, Yoona isn't answering yet there's something in there," Hoseok said and carried the extinguisher before aiming it's bottom on the doorknob.

"Yuuri noona I'll handle that for you!" Yeonjun said and I flipped my hair to get a clear view of the knob.

"I've been taking taekwondo and shooting classes longer than you, have a little faith in me," I smiled sweetly, and Yeonjun's eyes softened before nodding.

I then put out max force, breaking the knob in three slams before swinging the door open.

And our eyes widened.

"She's dead."

I'm probably gonna make next chapter more on Soujin's POV bc I'm trying to balance out the info about LIVV and Yuuri and Yeonjun's POV hehe (also take note I want ppl to learn more about Soujin and Jungkook's relationship progression while giving info about LIVV drug I don't focus solely on romance) :)
