FIFTY THREE: AFFECTION

THIRD PERSON POV

The man had dark black hair like Jungkook, just that his had blonde strands of hair mixed with it. A long earring was pierced on his left ear, he had piercing on his eyebrow and lip, which Jungkook didn't have. And he had lesser tattoos than him.

"Jungkook, we meet again. So it's a coincidence we thought about this place too, huh?" Jihoon said and Jungkook sighed.

"Jihoon, why are you here?" He asks, and Jihoon looks at him.

"Why are you here, Jungkook? Didn't I tell you to involve yourself and get Bangtan away too?" Jihoon said as he avoided eye contact with him.

"What do you mean, Jihoon? You saw what SAN did, you saw that they did terrible things to people," Jungkook said and Jihoon stayed silent.

"Go home, Jungkook, I know it won't be home without me, but still," Jihoon said as he smiled softly at him, before placing a hand on his soft and black hair which was just like his.

"Jihoon, you know I also don't want you to stray away from us. You left Bangtan without a word, Namjoon and Seokjin left too. And... and you know, someone who wanted to help died," Jungkook said, a swarm of emotions overtaking him as he tried to smiled softly towards his twin brother.

"Seokjin and Namjoon left? I see... I already promised Bangtan in your hands, you know what that means," Jihoon said.

"I doubt I'd be accepted once you know the truth about why I was here," Jihoon said and Jungkook looked at him.

"Why? Jihoon.... wait! That... monitor... you shot it didn't you? Those lasers... the reason why those lasers went out of control. Even I saw San and he wasn't scheming it," Jungkook's eyes widened and Jihoon's smile dropped.

"You found out," Jihoon said.

"Do you realize what you just done? Jihoon, you killed someone that could've saved us all!" Jungkook said as he grabbed his shoulders and Jihoon stayed silent.

"And what will happen if I didn't shoot that monitor? Will all of Bangtan be killed? Do you want to die, Jungkook?!" Jihoon replied as he stared at him.

"I can't even bear to look at Namhee's grave, what more else would it be if I saw you die, Jungkook? I'd go crazy," Jihoon said.

"I couldn't care less on who I'd kill as long as you're alive. You're my only family," Jihoon said and Jungkook shook his head.

"Jihoon, what about Bangtan? If we're family, you'd be back in Bangtan," Jungkook said and Jihoon sighed.

"I can't. Jungkook, I can't," Jihoon said.

"My wish is for Bangtan to be well and happy. Remember? So please... don't involve yourselves," Jihoon said as he turned his back.

"Because starting today.... I won't be someone you see as your twin anymore."

FLASHBACK

"We're really doing this, right?" Jihoon said as he grabbed tightly onto Jungkook's shirt, and Jungkook nodded.

"Apparently you suggested this idea first. But who knew you'd be shaking?" Jungkook replied as his legs were shaking.

"I heard... it hurts....," Jihoon whispered and Jungkook sighed.

"We don't have to back down now. We're men now!" Jungkook said and Jihoon's lips quivered.

"Scared men, will they accept us as adults even if we're minors?" Jihoon asked and Jungkook nodded.

"Not turning back now...," Jungkook sighed.

"Hey, why are you two crying now? Aren't ya both men?" The artist asked as the two boys were shirtless and lying down on the recliner.

"It... hurts.... mister," Jihoon said shakily and Jungkook nodded as tears were rolling down his cheeks.

"I gotta admit though, the design you both came up with is fire! I mean, it's genius for twins to come up with a huge butterfly tattoo covering their entire torso. But half of the butterfly is on one twin's chest while the other half is on the other's," the artist smiled as the two boys were still bearing the pain.

The butterfly tattoo was in black-ink. It looks like some random curves and designs at first sight, but it actually does look like a butterfly when the twins are together.

"I... don't wanna do this anymore," Jihoon said as he walked out of the store in a pale expression.

"I'm gonna have to get more tattoos. I feel like it might be my thing!" Jungkook beamed happily as he didn't feel any pain, and Jihoon applauded him for that.

"But you cry when you get piercings, and I don't!" Jihoon boasted and Jungkook rolled his eyes.

"But you know what? This'll be the only tattoo inked in my body! Because it respresents us and Bangtan!" Jihoon smiled.

"I want Bangtan to be well and happy! And us too! I wish we never have to be separated!" Jihoon smiled and Jungkook smiled back as they walked back home.

END OF FLASHBACK

"Jungkook?..." a voice trailed off and Jungoook's eyes slowly opened as he looked at the figure who was looming down at him.

"You were crying... are you alright? Jungkook...," the voice said and Jungkook squinted his eyes.

"S-Soujin....," Jungkook said softly as his vision went clearer. Soujin was looking at him worriedly as she was holding his hand.

"Jihoon... I miss him," Jungkook said softly, and Soujin nodded as she caressed his face that was stained with tears.

"Jungkook, I'll try my best to make everything back to the way it should be. I'm gonna find every secret and show it to the world," Soujin said, but Jungkook somehow... had mixed feelings.

If the secrets will be unfolded... will Jihoon be in danger?

"But at the same time it will take some time before I do.... but still...! We're both gonna get through it, right?" Soujin smiled and Jungkook nodded.

"I... I want to continue having good moments with you, even after this is all done," Jungkook beamed and Soujin turned pink.

"Even if it's not much.... you can still visit me... visit us all... right..? Soujin, I want to keep seeing you," Jungkook asked as his esrs turned red, and Soujin stared at him before nodding.

"I know it's not much... to show my gratitude... but let me... do this to now how I mean, to thank you for still being here and not giving up," Jungkook spoke softly, before nearing her, and Soujin did not waver.

He then planted a kiss on her lips.

"Baekhyun? What do you think you're doing? That's scary," A voice asked as Baekhyun was standing at the edge of SAN building's balcony.

"Just let me go... San, I've had enough," Baekhyun said, it felt like his face had gone pale, and his life has lost meaning.

"What? Not my problem you didn't know she still loved you after all this time, and you thought she hated you?" San tsked.

"And you're gonna kill yourself over this? I mean it is a big thing, but! We still have lots of things to conquer together!" San smirked.

"That's enough, San," a voice echoed, and San sighed as he looked at the figure who just arrived.

"Namsan hyung, but we still need Baekhyun!" San retorted and Namsan sighed.

"Leave him be, San. If he wants to do it, then fine. People with a free will to do anything is impossible in one's reach," Namsan replied and San groaned.

"Baekhyun, come to my office if you want to. San, back to CEO business!" Namsan said and San rolled his eyes before following his older brother, leaving Baekhyun alone.

Baekhyun is not himself anymore. He keeps hearing Yuuri's name in his head. His eyes widened as he closed his eyes before running out of the rooftop.

"Good morning, we didn't get any sleep but! I do have some news from Chief Yugyeom," Yeonjun said as he had dark bags under his eyes, and all the others too.

"Soujin, you've been in a daze since an hour ago, listen up," Yeonjun said and Soujin nodded as she walked beside Yeonjun.

"I got a report from Yugyeom. Your name has been cleared of interrogation because of Yuuri noona's reports. Plus, we'll be able to have a session with Sunghyo today about SAN," Yeonjun said as he handed the files over to Soujin, in which she accepted.

"We're doing this case and we'll not stop because this is Yuuri noona's last wish. We're not gonna mess around any further," Yeonjun said as Soujin read the files.

"It seems like Ms. Yuuri did leave a report. But, Yugyeom seemed to have also left a message that Yuuri had some files stored in a specific location, the stuff she hid can be proof to get some answers out of Sunghyo, the orphan being abducted, and the LIVV drug," Soujin said as she read them thoroughly.

"Does anyone know.... who Seoyoung is?"
