Seeing the signet ring Mikata gave Leona as a gift, intrigued Kylo, that he couldn't sleep that night. To be honest, she doesn't know her surname or her Jedi family lineage yet. A Lieutenant was also there, she saw Kylo and saluted in respect for him. He sees her, and makes an introduction. "Hello, I'm commander Ren, and you are?" He asks, and the young female Lieutenant replies, "I'm 1st Lieutenant Mimi Chatton, commander, I couldn't sleep tonight, I came down here to look at the ancient Jedi families who came before us all.... What brings you here, Commander Ren?" Kylo replies, "a signet ring bearing a mysterious family coat of arms Mikata gave to Leona earlier today, has intrigued me. She hardly knows who she is.... She bears the crest of one of these ancient Jedi families.... And I am going to find out who are her ancestors and or family members.... Want to help me, Lieutenant?" "Do you have a photo of the signet ring, Kylo? I can help you to decipher who her ancestors are." "Thank you." Kylo says.

Hux came to see Kylo in his room, but saw the room was empty. He saw a beautifully written note from Kylo.

"If you see I'm not in my room, good General Hux, I couldn't sleep tonight, that ring that Mikata gave Leona has left me intrigued, that I have went to the Jedi family lineage archive library for answers, to find out who Leona really is. - Kylo Ren" "good to know where he's went to." Hux said to himself. Mikata came by to check in on Hux, and saw Kylo was missing. "He's in the Jedi family lineage archive library, Dopheld, he's doing something for Leona. He's finding out who she really is. The signet ring you have given Leona intrigued him, to research her family history." "Ah... She'll have a bombshell to hear when he tells her... Between us, though, I think she's a cousin of a very famous clone wars hero Jedi General." Mikata replies, Hux replied to him, "you don't say. She's a powerful Jedi.... But where she inherited it from, she doesn't know yet until Kylo finds out and tells her."

Meanwhile in the Jedi family lineage archive library....

Mimi examined the crest of the Signet ring, and does some analysis of the crest's components, a doe, a bantha, a Fleur de lis and two lightsabres crossing each other behind the shield, and Kylo was amazed, and he says, "can you find out which Jedi family has this crest?" "Step ahead of you Kylo, this is the crest of the Kenobi bloodline... The doe represents the delicate balance, the bantha is of warrior value, the Fleur de lis is a decorative peice of the shield, and the lightsabres crossing each other means peace." Kylo nods, and Mimi continued, "now let's see where Leona lies on the family charts of the Kenobi family, no... Freaking way.... She is a Kenobi!" She doesn't even know she's a freaking Kenobi. The next day, Leona wakes up early and got Kylo his coffee and he gladly accepted it and slowly he drank it. His eyes softly wandered on her, and he saw some hint of sadness, yet also love. He saw that Leona was listening to her music.... Saddening music at that, she cried listening to "Transformations" from the Emma Watson remake of Beauty and the Beast. Kylo pulls Leona in for a comforting hug, and says "please don't cry, sweetheart, I know some music makes you cry, but, let your heart heal.... I'm here for you Leona." As he hugs her, Hux's cat, Millicent rubs herself against Leona's leg and Hux picked her up, and puts her in Leona's arms and she joined the hug.

Part 2 of the research on Leona's family lineage continues, but Kylo seeks counsel from the light side force ghosts for answers.
