" I hope to give you the award. " Sara chuckled over the phone.

" Ah! I don't know.. It's lot of competition" Shreyas sighed.

" Yeah.. Of course.. I just hope that the best one will win " Sara smiled

" Yeah! See you tomorrow " Shreyas said and they hung up.

Like every year Star Sports arranged Indian Sports awards and this year Sara Ali Khan was invited for presenting award.

On the hand Shreyas was nominated in the category " Best performance of the year " .

Sara and Shreyas met each other first time at Virushka's house warming party. Since then they were in contact with each other, not like they talked but they never forgot to congratulate each other in their ups.. Consoled each other in their downs..

They both had a kind of attraction towards each other but both chose to stay tight lipped about it. Being under the light media was tough , any news spread like wildfire. They both had bright careers before them so decided to brush of this feeling.

Next day,

Being a quirky girl Sara wore white crop top and pants . She pulled her hair in half knot and after a little touch up she was ready to go.

On the other hand, Shreyas, like every other player of Indian team was suited up with the logo of Indian Team over his chest. A sense of pride rushed through his veins when he saw himself in the mirror in that suit. That logo, which means everything to them.

After several interviews when Shreyas finally entered the Hall along with his team mates, his eyes wandered around just to find one face.. And there she was in that stunning white suit,talking to Arjun Kapoor.

An unconscious smile made it's way to shreyas lips. He quickly approached them.

" Hey . " He said catching attention of both .

" Hi.. How are you? " Arjun asked and hugged him tightly

" I am good.. What about you? " He asked with a smile.
All this time Sara was checked out Shreyas head to toe." You look dapper " Came out of her automatically.

Shreyas was a little flustered with this sudden comment. " Thanks " He chuckled cutely . " You  look pretty too " He said .

" Aww.. Look at you.. You got all shy " Arjun got all shy while Sara hit him in the arm to shut him off. In the mean time their host requested all of them to take seats since the event to begin soon.

One category after other passed, it was finally time for category Shreyas was nominated.

" I would like call Sara Ali Khan on stage to present this award " The host said.

Shreyas traced Sara as she went up the stage. She picked the envelope and opened it up.

"  The winner of best performance of the year is... Shreyas Iyer " She said without showing too much of enthusiasm sounding as professional as possible even though she was proud of her friend's achievement.

Shreyas was smiling ear to ear while getting up on the stage. Everyone applauded for him as he was about to receive his first award.

" Congratulations " Sara said grinning widely. " Thank you again.. " Shreyas smiled and took the award.

His hand touched Sara's and as cliche as it sounds Sara liked the warmth of his hand against her cold ones. She wanted to hold on to that warmth little longer.

"Is he Just a friend?? " She wondered

After the event , everyone was having dinner when Sara approached Shreyas.

He was eating with his team mates when he Sara approaching him.

" Can I borrow him for a second? " Sara asked them cutely 

" Yes please. " Virat chuckled.

Sara dragged him in a comparatively less crowded corner.

" I have meaning to tell you something.. And you know I don't like beating around bush so I will dive straight into it " She said

" I like talking to you, seeing you.. I.. I like you.. " Sara said. " And it's fine if you don't.. We are adults.. I just wanted to tell you.. I couldn't keep it to myself anymore.. " She sighed.

Shreyas on the hand was smiling widely.
" Oh! Thank god.. I like you too.. I was planning to keep it to myself for the fact that we have our careers ahead and this media.. " Shreyas was cut off by Sara..

" We will find a way.. " She chuckled

" So.. Would like to go out?? Tomorrow? " Shreyas asked

" Definitely! " Sara grinned

" So.. It's a date " Shreyas smiled

" Date it is !! " Sara chuckled
