Welcome, to Cretaceous Park (Revamped)

Well, here I am, doing this again. I decided that I'd redo this chapter and make it so Conner, Zara, and Kiera don't know what they've got themselves into. In the end, if I had the option, I'd rather not go back to certain death, and most people probably also work that way.

"Here it is." Winter said, looking at an island. It wasn't far out of sight, but details were still mingled together and hard to make out. Zara spotted an arch with red writing on it. She could only make out the beginning of two words- C, and P. "Do you know, by any chance, what that says?" She asked, nodding to the arch.

"That must be the arch that's shown on the map we were given."

"Map?"

"Of course. Didn't you get one?"

"No. What does it say?"

"It's the name of the park."

"What park?" Zara got worried now. "He told us it was a biological preserve."

"Oh..." Winter said. "Makes sense. Out of all of us, he'd need you two, and you probably wouldn't agree, considering what your past experience with prehistory is." Conner had listened in on this conversation.

"You don't mean to say-" he started, but was cut off.

"That island is a park full of... Well... Dinosaurs...." Conner turned his attention to the head if the ship. Tim was looking out at the island. Zara followed him as he went to Tim. "I suppose you have a very good reason for this." Tim jumped at the sudden statement. He turned around to look at Conner. "Oh." He said, knowing instantly what Conner meant. "You figured out. It's not so bad, actually. We have the best architectures in the world."

"So did Hammond." Tim shoved off this remark.

"I have a smaller island and a larger security team. No dinosaur has ever broke out of containment, and one never will."

Conner looked at the island. "Let's hope you're right."
