[Snow- Chapter 2]
Cress and Thorne were in New York City delivering the letumosis antidote.

They were currently walking through Central Park, sightseeing.

It was the beginning of winter, so it was cold enough Cress could see her breath.

Thorne's arm was around her waist and Cress' arm was around his.

All of a sudden snow started to fall.

Cress looked up in wonder, "Captain? Is... Is this s-snow?"

Thorne grinned, "Yes, yes it is."

Cress held both her hands out in an attempt to catch some of the flakes. She caught some and held them up so that so could see them closer.

Meanwhile, Thorne was sticking his tongue out to catch them. He smiled when some landed on his tongue and he ate them.

Cress looked at him curiously, "Why did you do that, Captain?"

Thorne grinned at her, "I caught them on my tongue and ate them." He saw her look of disbelief, "Cress, as I'm sure you know, snow is just water."

Cress nodded, "Yes, right."

Cress turned away from him for a moment and in that moment Thorne grabbed her wrist, twisted her around, and kissed her passionately.

He pulled away, "I'm in love with you, Cress." He murmured against her lips.

"And I'm in love with you, Captain," she whispered back.

Thorne grinned and pulled her back in for a quick kiss before he pulled away.

Cress smiled sheepishly at him, "Thank you for bringing me, Captain."

Thorne smiled, "I wouldn't want to bring anyone else."

Cress smiled and turned away again to look at the snow falling.

Thorne, once again, smiled and watched her as she looked around in wonder, with that adorable smile Thorne loved plastered on her face.
