She rushed towards the little trekking group which was all set to go.

"Am I late?" Y/n asked the host who was a huge big man in his middle 40s. He was tall, had a huge blonde beard and long hair tied up in a ponytail that reached until his neck, his left hand tattooed with something that looked like roses and skulls.

Tae: So you're telling me you have problem with people drooling over him but not me cause you write Fanfiction about me. 💀💀💀

"Nope kiddo, you're just in time." he gave her a warm cheerful smile.

He looked at the group of 6 people including the co-captain and continued, "Welcome everyone! I am Christopher Magellan, your host, and captain. That's James Morgan the co-captain and an experienced doctor. For the next three days, we will be like a family. I don't want any fights, mischiefs, or craze. Fun? Yep! Do not forget to have fun but if anything happens, let me know immediately. We will be first heading towards a meadow where everyone could get to know each other a little and have lunch. Next, we will be having a tour of the forest which looks very pretty at night because of the- umm, ok let's keep a secret for now." he chuckled.

"Why secret??" Y/n pouted.

"Because good things are saved for later! With that said, let's get started? Mr. Morgan, please allot them their rooms." he passed a quick smile and got into the luxurious van's driver seat as Mr. Morgan allotted everyone their rooms in the luxurious van.

"There you go Miss Y/n." Mr. Morgan smiled.

"Thank you!!" she walked inside and took a seat looking outside her room. The van-like vehicle was beautiful with 4 luxurious rooms, personal luxurious bathrooms, one common dining room with a little kitchen, and a pretty neat place for both the guides.

Y/n looked out the huge glass in her room and adored the beautiful scenery outside. She pulled out her book on the moon, for the moon was something that always excited her. She continued to read from where she had stopped. She didn't realize it when she had dozed off to sleep again.

A loud bang on the door gave her a solid jerk making her get up and panic.

"We are here. Miss, please come out." It was Mr. Morgan.

"Yeah. Yeah. I am coming." Y/n took a deep breath and replied, picking up her handbag which was tinnier from her actual trekking bag, and walked out with her cheerful smile on again.

"Thanks for informing me." She thanked Mr. Morgan and hopped out of the van.

She ran towards the meadows feeling alive after her tiring college life. A stage of life that is overwhelming yet memorable to everyone. She spotted the group and raced towards it.

"Hi. I am Kim Y/n." she bowed and introduced herself before taking a seat with the others.

"Hi, Y/n. I am Darvin." one guy with dark brown hair, light brown eyes, and with a decent amount of cute freckles smiled at her.

"Hello. I'm Charles!" the other guy with light brown hair, dark blue eyes, and similar freckles smiled at her.

"You-" Y/n looked at them confused.

"And we are twins!" they giggled and hi-fived each other.

"Charles Darwin- the scientist?" Y/n blinked her eyes several times.

"Let's not talk about that." Charles frowned. Y/n giggled at his cute expression.

"Hey, I'm Chloe Manoban!" introduced another girl as she continued to sip her blue lagoon.

"Nice name!" Y/n smiled.

"Yeah, hard to find a non-scientist name these days." Darwin shook his head.

"Damn. That was my grandmother's name and she was a scientist." Chloe responded.

"Ohwelll." Charles banged his head on the table.

"I am Jennie." waved the girl with beautiful black hair and pretty cat eyes.

"Wassup dudes. I am Lisa Manoban." the girl beside Jennie dramatically saluted with two of her fingers touching her head and moving away.

"So, you guys are here by yourself?" Y/n asked taking a bite of her sandwich.

"I and Lisa are here together." Jennie said.

"I'm here by myself." Chloe said. No one needed an explanation from the other duo. They just smiled at each other.

"Lisa Manoban and Chloe Manoban, similar names, just a coincidence-" Y/n asked looking at the two when she was interrupted by Chloe "Just a coincidence. Don't think otherwise."

"I am an undergraduate student at the Xaerould University." said Y/n.

"That's SO FREAKING COOL." said Chloe, interested in the conversation now. "I am from Wokenson University, doin' 3rd PhD." she continued.

"I'm a senior scientist." Jennie said.

"I am a junior scientist." Lisa said.

"We are scientists" Charles and Darvin said together.

"Wasn't it obvious that everyone's a scientist in this city? I wanna live a non-scientist life. WTF is this. Why the heck should I see how microorganisms live" Darvin pouted.

"Come on bro, you've done all of your 23 years of life, why does that annoy you now." said Jennie.

"I don't know, losing interest." he responded.

"How do you know our age!!!" Charles questioned. Jennie just winked at them.

"I'm so telling your boyfriend." Lisa laughed.

"You better shut up. He is not my boyfriend." Jennie pushed her.

"Then why should I not tell him. Wouldn't affect him and shouldn't affect you." she smirked.

"I am not flirting. Winking is not flirting!" she shouted.

"I agree." Y/n nodded.

"I like this kid." Jennie said pointing at Y/n.

"I'm not a kid." Y/n gave her a heartbroken expression.

"You're...?" she asked raising her eyebrow.

"18!!"

"Youngest here. I am 25. I am the oldest here." Chloe said munching her chips.

"How do you say that? You don't know my age." Jennie laughed.

"24 and your junior scientist 23. You're not the only one who has scienstagram." Chloe shot her crumpled packet of chips right in the dust bin which was a few feet away from her.

"I don't have that yet." Y/n frowned.

"Make one, add me!!" Darvin said.

"and me!" Charles rose his hand. Y/n smiled because she didn't have a lot of friends. Scienstagram was a social media app for scientists where all the scientists around the world connect, post, and talk about their discoveries. They even make friends and have normal life conversations or talk about any collaborated research they wish to do.

"Guys get in!!! We have to be into the forest before sun set." Christopher informed them as they all hopped into the van continuing their conversations in the living room. Timing was passing quickly as each other's company was enjoyed.

"...and that's how my mom kicked me out." Chloe ended with a sudden stop of the van. Everyone chuckled including her.

They walked out to see the most beautiful thing they could have ever witnessed, the forest night light on one side and sunset on the other.

Charles and Darwin jumped out the van and shouted. "Woo hooo" running about as they could observe both a beautiful sunset and pretty night lights, close to a small waterfall. Mr Morgan served the dinner which everyone had enjoying the nature.

"Sir, I believe this is close to ALBEDOZ - V's main research property?" Jennie asked Christopher.

"Yeah. It's close by. That area is restricted and we will not be going their during our entire trip." he responded. Jennie nodded. He paused and looked at everyone playing in the bon fire. His dried lips moved to state himself clear once again.

"And everyone better stay away from that place. I don't want problems."
