"MOMMY!" I screamed. Mom stared in horror as vines pulled me away. I struggled but I got thrown out of the Underground. I screamed and hit the ground. At first I just lied there but then I finally stood up. "Mommy...daddy...anyone..." I whispered. I looked around and saw things I've never seen before. There were things shining in the sky, noises from all around me, and one giant night light shining on me. I quickly shut my eyes and covered my ears. "Is this the human world?" I asked myself. I saw a bag of something from this bin and quickly crawled over to it. I slowly picked up the bag and looked at it. "Gummy Bears?" I read. Luckily my mom taught me how to read. I tilted my head and then turned it over. Is this like the stuff we eat in the Underground? I bit the bag and tugged. The bag ripped open and tiny different color bears went everywhere. I picked one up and put it in my mouth. "Mmmmm." It was really good. I quickly picked up the rest, put them in the bag, and started eating while I walked. I don't really remember everything that happened because I had what they call a sugar rush and dozed off. I closed my eyes and fell into a deep sleep.
