4 - Bad Feelings
That night, you were sitting up in a tree, laying back on a branch trying to relax. You kept thinking about the kid Sally cause you were worried about her and worried about why you kept thinking she needed your help.
"I'm supposed to be snuffing out killers and criminals, not 8 year old little gremlins...." You mumble to yourself. Although, Sally wasn't even that bad so you don't know why you were that upset.
You were starting to fall asleep on yourself about an hour later when the air around you starts to change and you start to see something materializing before you. Next thing you know, there's a familiar human looking man sitting on a tree branch nearby you.
"Zalgo..Zalgo...??"
The demon looking man frowned, "It's been a while, (Y/N)...."
You sat up and yawned looking at him. "What are you doing here and how did you find me?"
"This is the forty-seventh time the mansion has relocated and I don't understand how you think I can't track you."
"...Okay so what you can track me now you're here, but what do you want? And I thought you were mad at me for stealing that ...world thingy..."
Zalgo frowned, "You're not responsible enough to hold something so powerful. You need to return it. But that's not important now and that's not why I'm here"
"Why're you here??"
"You're becoming soft..."
You blink and tilt your head. "I'm becoming soft...? I'm sorry, what do you mean by that?"
Zalgo relocated by teleporting to the branch you were on and you heard the branch creak, so you immediately stand up thinking that it was going to snap.
"I know what you're doing. You're trying to recruit people into joining you at the mansion. Why would you want to reveal your place hidden away from everything to outsiders? You were strong on your own as a malevolent force. You were worthy enough of even joining me. But now you wish to accept the very kind you wished to get away from??"
"Yeah," you respond immediately afterwards. "I got tired of being by myself. I wanted maybe just one person to talk to but you just never showed up again. I turned to people and came up with the idea that maybe I could form a band of killers like me. I don't know how that's soft..."
"You're acting like them. You don't need them. I gave you abilities that surpass those of a human. You could be much much greater."
You were starting to get annoyed with him and was about to respond to him when you froze, suddenly feeling a cold sense run through your body.
Sally.
The image of the girl appeared in your head, you immediately looked to the house as you could see it from where you were up in the three.
The lights were all out through the windows, the family must all be asleep. Nothing seemed wrong as you looked closely at the house.
"Don't tell me you actually care about what happens to humans. To a little, useless girl." Zalgo sneered.
"I wouldn't say it's me caring. I'm just....curious."
"You care. You want that child to come to the mansion. You're far gone, (Y/N). Maybe it was a mistake, me entrusting a human like you."
You ignore Zalgo and keep looking out to the house. After a while, you quietly mutter without looking away from the house, "I haven't changed Zalgo. I'm still the same (Y/N) you entrusted with your powers. I'll never be like the other humans again. I promise you that."
You then add after a long moment of silence, "It's just that now I want to be that same (Y/N) along with other people who are just as crazy as me."

The sun was beginning to arise. You awoke from having fallen asleep eventually on the branch. After eventually convincing Zalgo you hadn't changed, he finally left you alone.
As you sit up rubbing your eyes, you can't help but feel a slight sense of dread, and you don't know why or what for. Everything seemed okay coming from Sally's house that night, and you still don't even know why you bothered to care so much.
You made it final that today would be the day you leave Sally alone and venture off to find what you actually came to look for. A merciless, bloodthirsty killer.
"Maybe I can grab someone from the 1700s..." you mutter to yourself, not noticing the front door of Sally's house slowly creaking open.
You hear loud talking and sit up, seeing Sally's parents walk outside, along with Sally's Uncle and then finally the little girl herself.
You smile at her from up in the tree, but your smile quickly fades when you notice that Sally's demeanor is off. She had a blank look on her face, and she was dragging her stuffed bear behind her, not hugging it close as you noted she always did in the days before.
Her parents said something to her and she stared past them until they were done talking. She then looked at them and gave them the weakest, dullest smile ever.
"What's her problem?" You asked yourself, watching her closely. You eventually start climbing down from the tree and find a place closer to the family to hide.
Upon listening, you heard that Sally was going to go somewhere with her Uncle. She looked like she really didn't want to, but she agreed with her parents anyways and you watched as she hesitantly climbed into the truck with her Uncle.
They begin to back out of the driveway and drove off down the road. You immediately follow, but stop when you notice Sally had left the teddy bear on the ground when she got into the truck.
Not caring at all who saw you, you teleported in front of her parents and grabbed the bear. Ignoring their surprised and horrified shouts, you then teleport away from them with the bear and follow after the truck.
The truck drives for a long time until it stops off in an isolated place on the side of the road near the woods; the very same woods your mansion was hidden deep within.
You watch from behind a tree, closely as Sally's Uncle exited the car. You see him then go to the back of the truck and pull a crowbar from a box. He then walks over to Sally's side and opens the door, commanding her to exit.
Next thing you know, as soon as the child steps out, her Uncle grabs her arm and throws her on the hard concrete of the road. Before Sally could recover from hitting the ground , her Uncle began to repeatedly, mercilessly hit her with crowbar.
You stare in deathly silence as the child screamed and cried, as blood flowed from out her body and as her body was being torn open in places from the sharp edge of the crowbar.
It lasted for a sickening span of 8 minutes.
The 8 year old girl was brutally murdered.
In a sense, you had found what you were looking for, right?
Uncle Johnny clearly abused and proceeded to kill the innocent girl so viciously. That was the type of people you were looking for. You could easily approach him and take him in to your homely mansion, where the two of you could kill to your hearts content!
Apparently though, you felt the opposite about that.
"Disgusting....sick bastard...." You seethe with such anger. Strange how you, an infamous killer looked with hatred towards the other killer that was just feet away from you.
You felt your aura tendrils forming from behind you, and you were just about to teleport right to Sally's Uncle and straight up decapitate him. However you felt your inside voice nagging you again and it was telling you to wait for some reason.
"Not...just yet..." You try calming yourself as you watch the man pick up the dead girl and start carrying her into the woods.
^^^
It had been 16 hours since Sally had been murdered. You'd spent the day stalking and closely watching her Uncle as he disposed of her body in the woods and went about his day as if nothing had happened.
By the time he had returned to Sally's parents, you listened as he lied to them by telling them he had dropped off Sally at one of her friends house to spend the night.
Every moment that passed and the man was still breathing, you got angrier and angrier. You were close to breaking straight into the house and just killing them all.
When night fell, you were close by the house and you began to hear soft crying coming from one of the rooms. You glide to one of the windows and stare straight through the curtains to see inside.
Seated on the bed was just what you had been waiting for.
There she was; a translucent entity with messy long brown-hair and shiny green eyes. She wore a ruined and torn pink dress and there were large bloody scratches and cuts all over her body. She sat hunched over on her bed as she cried. You stepped through the walls and made yourself visible to girl sitting there.
"Hello, Sally," You greet her, standing before her now with her old stuffed bear in hand. "It's me."
