When You Meet
*I'll be using female pronouns*

Candy Cane -
Grumbling under my breath, I kicked a pebble that laid in my path. Watching it bounce down the hill, I raised a brow when I noticed it lead me to an abandoned house that was on the outskirts of the woods. Glancing around me, I headed towards the house, wondering how long the place has been standing for. Pulling out a sucker from my pocket, I was about to put it in my mouth when I noticed something moving inside the house.
"What...? Is someone living in there?" I huffed to myself, chuckling at the thought of someone actually living there.
Peeking into the broken windows of the house, I scanned the dirty living spaces inside, waiting to see something. I was just about to shrug my shoulders until someone did appear on the other side of the window. She was dressed up as a blue jester, smiling her sharp teeth at me.
We both stared at each other, seeming to both feel the aura around us. She wasn't human, and she knew I wasn't either.
"Who are you?" I whispered, getting closer to the shattered window.
"Candy Cane, and you're (Y/n), right?" Raising a brow, I slowly nodded my head, watching a smile slowly creep onto her face. "Nice to see you again, (Y/n)..."
Clockwork -
Rubbing my eyes, I glanced over at my alarm clock that blinked red. It was around three in the morning, and I obviously couldn't sleep. School really messed up my sleeping schedule, and it didn't help that I stay up all night. Sighing, I ran my hand over my face before looking at myself in the mirror, observing my eyes that seemed to sparkle in the dark.
"They do look beautiful. If only I had the courage to show them off at school." I chuckled under my breath, pressing my lips together at the thought. I fiddled around with a capsule that holds my coloured eye contacts, trying to find something to do since there's no use in sleeping now.
What if I doodle in my notebook that my parents gave me? Nodding my head at the idea, I opened my closet door and started to dig around for the notebook. What I didn't know was there was someone that was in my closet, holding my notebook in their hands.
"I gotta say, I love your art style." Yelping, I fell backwards, my eyes never leaving the darkness of my closet. I would have thought my mind was playing tricks on me until I saw a female staring back at me, a smirk forming on her lips.
"Who are you? What do you want? Why are you in my closet? Where did you come from?" I spat out questioned left and right, watching the taller female figure take a step out of my closet.
"That is a story for another time, I'm just happy I found you again, (Y/n)."
Darkness -
"Mom! I'm going outside for a walk! I'll be home in an hour." I called out, closing the slider door behind me. Pugging in my headphones, I placed them over my head as I pushed 'play' on my playlist. Glancing up at the woods behind my house, I sucked in a breath and started for the entrance. I've never been in the woods before, so let's hope I don't get lost.
Stepping over the small creek that ran behind my house, I smiled when I heard splashing of frogs jumping into the water. I remember trying to catch them when I was little, good times.
"Geez, I feel so small." I gasped, staring up at the sky that was being blocked by the large trees. I wonder if I'll see any deer or bunnies carrying on with their life.
Going to scratch my forehead, my eyes landed on the reversed pentagram on my wrist, causing me to grunt and cover it up with my sleeve. I hate it, it makes me wear large bracelets because I don't want anyone to see it.
"Where did you get that marking from?" Jumping from the sudden voice, I turned around to see an older lady staring at me. Her eyes blue pierced into mine, causing me to shrink in my spot. Half of her face was covered, but I didn't pay any mind to that.
"I-I don't know, I grew up with it. My parents said it appeared the day my sisters went missing..." I stated, noticing something flicker behind the female's eyes.
"Ah, so you're (Y/n)? Well, I'm Jas, Jas Maslow. I hope you remember that name."
Emra -
"Yes, mom! I know! You don't have to tell me five million times!" I sighed, hanging up the phone on my mother who was questioning where I was. Gosh, they don't give me any space to breathe! They better not do this when I become an adult. I know I'm going to regret hanging up on my mother, but I don't need to get into an argument over the phone.
"What's this?" I raised my brow, stumbling over a pile of debris that fell from the roof, trying to get to a door on the other side. I noticed there's a light shining from under the door, but from what I've seen, no lights work in here. This building has been abandoned for about ten years!?
Grabbing ahold of the dusty doorhandle, I pushed the door open with my shoulder, grimacing at the sound of it squeaking on the old rusty hinges.
"Woah!" I smiled when I noticed it was a large storage closet filled with many different types of stuff. One thing that stuck out to me was the human-sized puppet in the corner. She kinda looked familiar, but I don't know from where. "You're pretty." I smiled, poking the puppet on the cheek.
"Thank you, (Y/n)." She stated, rolling her red eyes towards me. Screaming from the puppet coming alive, I ran out of the closet and headed for the entrance of the building.
Jane The Killer -
"I don't need a bag, thank you." I smiled, paying for the pride flag that I'm buying for my father's as a gift. It was June and that means it's pride month! Thanking the cashier, I grabbed the flag and held it tightly in my hands, excited to get home.
I was walking down the street of my small town, but something in the back of my head said to turn around. Ignoring the warning, I didn't see anything that could be threatening to me. Hardly anyone was walking around outside since it looks like it's about to rain.
Before I could take another step, someone grabbed my wrist and yanked me into an alleyway. Feeling myself get slammed into the brick wall, I winced in pain, peeking through my closed eyes at the person in front of me. It was a female I've never seen before.
"Who are you?" I whispered, startled by her appearance. She hushed me by placing her hand over my mouth.
"I'm trying to save your life, be quiet." She hissed, staring out into the streets. I tried to look but her grip on my face was too strong. "Okay, he's gone. Sorry for hurting you but it's better than being murdered. I'm Jane, and you are?" Jane questions, handing me back the pride flag that fell out of my hands.
"(Y/n), and thank you for helping me." I smiled awkwardly, rubbing the back of my head. I was just about to walk away when I heard the taller female gasp.
"(Y/n) (L/n)?"
Judge Angel -
Humming a little tune to myself, I stepped into the park, scanning the area with my eyes. Kids were laughing and playing with each other while their parents relaxed, finally able to get some time to themselves. It was a nice day outside, and I'm glad I avoided my parents because who knows how long they'll talk to me if they caught me out of my room.
Walking along the path that borders the park, I stuffed my hands in my pockets, many things flooding my mind that I didn't notice someone running up to me.
"Excuse me!?" Jumping out of my thoughts, I straightened up my posture and glanced around for the voice. A tiny girl was standing in front of me, giving me the puppy eyes. "Can you grab our ball? It rolled into the woods and I don't wanna get lost."
Pressing my lips together, I peered into the woods that was about ten feet away from me. "Sure, I'll get you your ball, stay here." The girl giggles, bouncing on her tippy-toes while thanking me over and over again.
Marching over to the woods, I pushed away some low hanging branches, spotting the ball that was stuck in a tiny creek. Geez, how did the kids get the ball this far into the woods? I questioned, grabbing ahold of the ball, but another hand landed on top of mine.
"Oh sorry, I didn't know it was yours..." The female awkwardly smiles, cupping her hands to her chest. Making eye contact with the female, I noticed her eyes were all black, like the galaxy, but there was something else. "Wait... (Y/n)? Is that you?"
Kate The Chaser -
Stepping over a large fallen tree, I kept my eyes on the giant deer in front of me. My fingers twitch from excitement, hoping to bring this deer down. This one whole deer could be our dinner for about a week. Kneeling behind a high rock, I lifted my bow in the air, aiming for the heart. Thankfully the deer was facing my way, so hitting the heart should be easy.
Right as I was about to release my arrow, a loud crack echoed through the woods, making the deer look towards me. Freezing in my spot, I stared right back at the deer, hoping it'll look around me and carry on eating.
The forest fell silent again, causing the deer to relax, but someone fell through some bushes not that far away from me, causing the deer to run away.
"Come on! That could have been my dinner!" I groaned, shooting daggers at the female that was dusting herself off. "Who are you?" I questioned, placing my arrow in my arrow carrier that rests on my hip.
"I was hoping you'd remember, but I'm Kate. I couldn't help but notice you from a distance. Sorry for scaring off your dinner, I can go catch you a new one." She smiles, giving me an uneasy feeling in my stomach.
"Why do you seem familiar?"
Killing Kate -
Brushing my hair out of my face, I focused on cutting the carrots in front of me. My friend was gone at work, and I decided I'll be nice and cook her some food. I was making her my famous veggie stew that she always begs me to make.
Carefully scooping the carrots in my hands, I dumped them into the pot, smelling the deliciousness that drafted through the air. "Now that smells good." I chuckled, heading over to cut some onions to add some kick to it. Without looking, I tried to grab ahold of the knife, but I grabbed the blade side instead.
"OW!" I jumped back in surprise, watching the knife fall to the floor as blood seeped through the cut on my finger. Thankfully it wasn't deep, but it hurt like hell. I tried to hold in my tears, but some slipped, highlighting my face with a gold colour.
"Dang, that's cool! You kinda take after me!" Gasping, I glanced over at the strange female that was standing at my kitchen doorway.
"W-Who are you?" I mumbled, delicately cleaning my cut with a warm rag without making eye contact with the stranger.
"Aw, I'd hoped you'd remember me. I'm Kate! Nice to meet you again, (Y/n)!"
Laughing Jill -
Stepping out onto the freshly cut grass, I stretched my arms above my head, trying to crack my back. Today is a beautiful day to visit the park. Kids were playing outside, birds are singing their melodies, the sun is shining with little clouds in the sky. My definition of beautiful.
Crouching under a cherry blossom, I dusted off the loose dirt by the roots before sitting down. I thought I'd get out of the house and relax at a nearby park. As long as no one bothers me everything will be fine. Folding my hands behind my head, I sighed deeply before closing my eyes, trying to clear my head.
"Excuse me?" Clenching my jaw in annoyance, I snapped my eyes open, staring at the female who was crouched down to my height.
"What do you want? Can't you see I'm trying to relax?" I spat, closing my eyes once again, not caring if the clown looking female was still in front of me.
"Well, that isn't a nice way to greet your family member." She growls, causing my heart to leap into my chest. I don't have a family, I was created...
Lazari -
Fixing the hat on top of my head, I continued to clean off the counters. I swear, kids make such a mess when eating ice cream. Chuckling under my breath, I let the tables air dry before heading back behind the counter. I was just closing up my ice cream shop until I heard a knock on the glass door.
Raising a brow, I peeked my head around the corner, noticing a small girl smiling up at me. Scanning the area behind her, I realized she was alone. Where are her parent's and why is she in a dark pink pajamas?
"Hello? Where are your parents?" I questioned, opening the door and crouching down to her height.
"Well, my mom passed away and my dad is a jerk named Zalgo." She smiles, holding out a piece of paper for me.
"Wait...? Did you just say Zalgo?" I gasped, staring at the girl in shock.
Lulu -
Closing my thick book, I let out a deep sigh. I just finished my book that I got two days ago, and wow! There were so many twists and turns & cliffhangers that is was almost impossible to put down.
Glancing up at the tree I was sitting under, I noticed it was starting to get windy. Thankfully it wasn't supposed to rain until tomorrow, so I got time to chill outside. I was about to head back inside to grab a new book until I heard a branch crack by something heavy.
"Hello?" I questioned, peeking around the trees in my backyard. I didn't notice anyone, but I heard someone breathing not that far away from me. "I can hear you breathing! Come out!"
Holding their hands in the air, I watched as a female stepped out from behind a nearby tree. "Careful, (Y/n). It's just me." She smiles, slowly lowering her arms. "I'm not going to hurt you. My name is Lulu, do you remember that name?" She asks, tilting her head to the side.
"Lulu..."
Nightmare Ally -
Scrolling through my phone, I rested my back against the counter, forgetting the fact that I was cleaning. I work at a coffee shop, and I'm that worker that stays after to close up the place. All the tables were clean and now I'm just working on cleaning the counters themselves.
Hearing the bell over the door ring, I raised a brow, knowing I flipped the sign saying that we were closed.
"I'm sorry, but we're closed." I confronted the female but felt bad when I noticed it was a little girl. She was drenched in water, telling me she was outside in the rain. "Oh, sorry, here. This will help you dry up." I handed her a dry towel and scanned her appearance. I love her dress, but she kinda looks like a doll.
"Thank you, (Y/n)! I'm happy that you didn't lock up just yet." She giggles, handing back the towel.
"How do you know my name? You don't look familiar to me, and besides, I'm not wearing my nametag." I states, crossing my arms.
"Remember Ally? That's me! I'm happy I found you again!"
Nina The Killer -
Crossing my legs over one another, I flipped the page of my manga. I was just chilling at the park, trying to catch up on my books I have in my closet. I was so close to finishing this manga until someone sat down beside me. Glancing up, I noticed a female wearing a doctors mask and some big sunglasses. She was staring right at me, and I started to get a little uncomfortable.
"Can I help you?" I questioned, lowering my book to my lap. The corners of her doctors mask raised, telling me she was smiling.
"I know you won't remember me, but I remember you. How can I forget a face like yours, (Y/n)." She giggles, placing a pale hand on my shoulder.
"Uh, well, you're correct, I don't know you." I chuckled awkwardly, not making eye contact with the female.
"Well, then put down that amazing book and let's talk, shall we?"
Nurse Ann -
"(Y/n)? Can you be a dear and go grab me the dog food in the back?" The old lady, who runs the animal shelter asks, a small smile on her face. She's the sweetest person I've ever meet, she even gives me free cookies on Fridays!
"Of course!" Wiping my hands on my jeans, I walked behind the counter to get to the backdoor. Pushing the door open with my shoulder, I scanned all the different bags of food all in their little corner. Glancing around for the dog section, I tensed up when a hand landed on my shoulder.
"I finally caught you!" The female laughs, pinning me up against one of the shelves. "Hello again, (Y/n)." The female caused me to hold my breath, not knowing what she's going to do. She basically looks like a scary nurse, so that doesn't send good signals.
"How do you know my name? Are you going to hurt me?" I grunted, not liking the feel of metal being pushed to my back.
"Why would I hurt my own sister?"
Rouge -
Holding the crossbow in my hands, I scanned the area in front of me, waiting for something to move. My father and I were hunting for ducks, but we went our separate way. I ended up by a pond that had about five ducks swimming around.
"Perfect," I smirked, aiming my crossbow at the nearest duck. Mimicking the sound of the animal, I watched as it waddled over to me before quickly running away. "What?"
"Haven't I told you not to shoot a mother duck?" A familiar voice hisses behind me, the reason why the duck ran away. Glancing over my shoulder, I fell backwards when I saw an unknown figure in front of me, having an unsettling mask on their face.
"W-Who are you? And I didn't see any baby ducks." I stated, glancing back to see the duck nesting on her unmatched eggs. "Oh..."
Sally -
Giggling under my breath, I held a small pebble in my hands, waiting for the kids to walk into the room with me in it. I was just taking a rest in an abandoned house until a group of kids wandered inside.
"Bro, this place isn't scary like you said it was." The older male whines, kicking the door open to my room. Throwing the pebble at him, I watched as it hit him on the forehead, causing him to stumble backwards. "Woah! Bro! Something hit me! Scary!" He chuckles, stepping out of my room and heading back to the others.
"Wasn't trying to be scary," I grumbled, crossing my arms as I glared daggers at the group of teenage boys that was leaving my house.
"I thought you were pretty scary." Flinching at the new voice, noticing a small girl standing next to me, a smile on her face. "Hi, (Y/n)! I'm glad to see you again!"
Suicide Sadie -
Resting next to my gravestone, I grabbed ahold of the rose that my adopted parent's left for me. It's been two years since I was murdered, but it feels like it was yesterday. Lifting the rose to my nose, I tried to smell it, but I can't. That's another thing that sucks about being a ghost.
"(Y/n)? Is that you?" Freezing in my spot, I glanced up to see a familiar figure floating towards me. "Oh my gosh! It is you! What happened?!" The female frowns, kneeling down in front of me. She places a hand on my shoulder, staring deep into my eyes.
"I was murdered in my sleep," I stated, gazing down at my lap. "May I ask how you know my name? You don't really look familiar." I questioned, peering into the girl's one eye.
"Oh, I'm not surprised you don't remember me. Your adopted parents wouldn't tell you the truth about me. I'm Sadie, your sister."
Vailly Evans -
Holding my glowstick in my hands, I giggled as I ran away from my friends. It was night out and we decided to play tag, but using the glowsticks to show the others where we are. I quickly ran behind a tree, trying to hide my glowstick so my friends couldn't see where I was.
"Where are you, (Y/n). You shark-teeth freak!" Laughing awkwardly at their joke, I tried to push away the pain, but it didn't work so well. Letting a couple tears run down my face, I yelp when a hand covered my mouth.
"Shh! Don't scream! You need to get away from them! They aren't your friends, (Y/n)." A female voice hissed in my ear. I couldn't see anything else about her except that she has a glowing blue eye.
"Who are you?" I whispered, glancing over my shoulder to see that my friends left me outside alone.
"Your missing sister, who else? Come on, let's go have some fun of our own."
Zero -
Giggling under my breath, I watched the cameras in my hands, waiting for my mother to walk out of her room. It was currently six in the morning and I had the thought to prank my mother. I placed a bucket of pink hair dye and sparkles over her door, so I'm excited to see how she's going to react. I don't know what pink looks like, but my friends say it's a really bright colour.
Slowly getting bored, I turned off the camera and plopped back on my bed. Humming a tune to myself, I drew some shapes in the air before I heard the bucket fall. Jumping out of my bed, I raced downstairs only to see someone who's not my mother.
"Uh... who are you?" I questioned, seeing that she got covered with pink dye. She seemed to get startled by my voice, and she didn't look too happy.
"Listen here you little--" She stopped dead in her tracks when our eyes met, causing me to see colour for once.
"Woah! I can see colour! How did you do that!? Are you my soulmate?!" I gasped, gazing around my house at all the different colours.
"Um, no... our mother never told you that you'd get your vision back once you made eye contact with your older sister?" The female smirks, resting her sledgehammer on her shoulder.
