A couple of hours after meeting Sasha and getting her number, Jeff was in his room, about to text her. He wondered what he should say, it having been a while since he tried to flirt with a girl. So, he texted the first thing that came to mind: 

Jeff: Hey, what's up? 

Jeff waited about a minute for a reply, immediately reading Sasha's reply as she texted back.

Sasha: Who's this?

Jeff sighed and shook his head, mentally calling himself an idiot for not saying who he was first. He texted her back almost immediately, hoping she would keep chatting with him. 

Jeff: It's me, Jeff, from earlier? 

Sasha texted back a few seconds later, causing Jeff to smile slightly, leaning back against the headboard of his bed.

Sasha: Oh yeah! Sorry dude, homework's been wracking my brain so much that I can hardly remember my name. 

Jeff laughed quietly at the text, trying to be quiet so he wouldn't wake up his parents. 

Jeff: Heh, yeah, math's a bitch

Sasha: Hell yeah it is! I wish I could take a dancing class instead.

Jeff: Guessing you really like to dance?

Sasha: Yeah, it's kinda like my passion. Keeps me happy and going, y'know. 

Jeff: Well, how about you come to prom with me when it comes around then ;) 

Sasha: Haha, smooth man, real smooth XD You say that to every girl you dance with?

Jeff laughed again at the text, checking the time to see it was 9:30 pm, guessing he had a good bit to chat with her. He then texted her back.

Jeff: Nah, not really, just to the pretty ones ;) 

Jeff mentally slapped himself for that one, the text making him sound like a dick, immediately sending another one.

Jeff: I'm sorry, I didn't mean to sound like a dick. It's been a while since I flirted. 

Sasha: It's okay, as long as you ain't like Randy and his two fuck boys, I'm good.

Jeff: Cool. So, you wanna sit together at lunch tomorrow? 

Sasha: Sure! You can sit with me and Kara, we're always at the back table. We can cause more trouble without getting caught that way ;) 

Jeff: Haha, I'll be sure to come over with some paper balls then. We can throw them at the pricks 

Sasha: Sounds like a plan, my man

Jeff: Now she's a poet, I like it ;)

Sasha: Oh shut it, Jeffy XD

Jeff was confused by the name, texting her with a look of confusion across his face. It sounded more like a pet name than a nickname. 

Jeff: Jeffy? O.o

Sasha: Yeah, it's my new nickname for you. Don't try to change my mind, because I ain't gonna :p

Jeff: Well, then I guess I should give you a nickname too. Hmm......how about Dancing Queen?

Sasha: Sure, why not XD Kara seems to like it 

Jeff: You two gossiping about my good looks or something? 

Sasha: Haha, very smooth ;) But nah, we just share a room together at the orphanage.

Jeff's eyes immediately widened. Sasha and Kara were orphans? He had heard that some kids at the high school were orphans, but he never thought those two would be. 

Jeff: Wait, you guys are orphans?

Sasha: Yeeeaaaah......long story that I'd rather not talk about right now.

Jeff: I'm sorry, didn't mean to bring up bad memories :( 

Sasha: It's fine, it's not like I have a tragic backstory or anything T-T 

Jeff: I'm sure the Dancing Queen must have one, but I won't pride into it.

Sasha: Damn, you are just going for it aren't you XD

Jeff: What can I say? I'm a natural at it ;) 

Sasha: And yet you said five minutes ago that you were rusty? 

Jeff: Leave me alone Xp

Sasha: XD You're an awesome guy, you know that?

Jeff blushed at her text message, smiling as he texted back, not ever being given a compliment like that. 

Jeff: Really, ya think so?

Sasha: Yeah, you ain't like the other pricks at the school, or one of the dumb jocks that try to act smart. You're a pretty cool guy Jeffy ;)

Jeff: Heh, why thank you, I try ;) Guess it's my New Orleans' charm

Sasha: That's where you moved from? What's it like? I've always wanted to go there!

Jeff: It's really nice, I miss it so much :( It's really big and bright, and there's a few abandoned buildings that you can hang out at. The view of the city from one me and Liu used to go to is awesome!

Sasha: It sounds like an amazing place. I hope you can go back there someday.

Jeff: I hope so too. Maybe we can go together, me, you, Liu, and Kara. What do you say? Graduation field trip?

Sasha: I'm in, as long as you'll help me save money for it.

Jeff: Hell yeah! I was planning on getting a job at that gas station close to the school anyway.

Sasha: Awesome! I'll likely earn money from winning dancing competitions. Not to brag, but I enter and win them a lot XD

Jeff: Damn girl, what can you not do?!

Sasha: Play pool, I hate that shit DX

Jeff: Haha, remind me to challenge you to a game sometime! 

Sasha: You dick -_-

Jeff: Yeah, 8 inches, what about it?

Sasha: For the love of God, dude XD 

Jeff laughed quietly as he texted her, doing so for another hour or so before he started to get tired, realizing that it was almost midnight. 

Jeff: Hey, I'm gonna get some sleep. It's literally almost midnight

Sasha: Yeah, same here. This Dancing Queen has to get some sleep 

Jeff: Heh, yeah, so does this Romeo ;)

Sasha: Is that what you call yourself in the mirror every day?

Jeff: Rude DX 

Sasha: Just kidding, you a pretty boy

Jeff blushed at her words, sleepily saying "Yes!" quietly, seeing he had a chance because she thought he was good looking. 

Jeff: Yes, a very beautiful boy *whips hair* 

Sasha: Now look who's getting cocky XD

Jeff: Xp Seriously though, I'm going to bed, I'll see you tomorrow

Sasha: Alright Jeffy, night ^^ 

Jeff: Haha, night Sasha

Jeff then set his alarm and put his phone on his beside table, taking off his shirt and pants before crawling into bed, preferring to sleep in his boxers. He fell asleep with a smile on his face, wondering if he had a chance with Sasha, excited to see her tomorrow. Sasha did the same, changing into her pajamas and falling asleep with a smile on her face, thinking about Jeff and what fun her and Kara would have tomorrow.

Throughout the next two weeks, Sasha and Jeff had a lot of fun together, Kara laughing with them every now and again. Jeff even danced with her a bit one day after school, the two getting closer and closer by the day, which made Randy more and more jealous and vengeful towards Jeff. Every time he would try to push Jeff or pick on him, Sasha would defend him, Jeff doing the same for her when Randy hit on her. They even got close to kissing once, the two eating outside at lunch one day, the sound of the bell ringing for the end of lunch interrupting them. Jeff then decided after they were interrupted, right then and there, that he was going to ask Sasha out that coming  Sunday. He texted Sasha that he had something to ask her, and teased her by telling her to meet him at the cafe close to the gas station for lunch, his treat. Sasha, with a laugh, accepted the offer, Jeff being ecstatic and excited for it. He got even more excited when he found out that Liu was coming home that Monday, Jeff excited to reunite with his brother and introduce him to Kara and Sasha. 

All he had to do was get through a forced day of hanging out with Randy........

(I'm sorry this is kinda sort, only had this idea for the second part. I promise the third part will be longer, just wanted to go ahead and get this part out of the way. I hope I captured Jeff's personality in the 2015 version of JTK alright, at least decently, and I hope you like my characters Sasha and Kara. The characters act a bit differently than how I usually right them, but just think of this as a separate universe. Also, above is another example of how Sasha dances, well, at least the type of dance she does. She does dances ranging from the shuffle to freestyle.
