Laughing Jack x (Sensitive) Reader

2nd POV

By the time you got home, you were soaking wet, cold, and sneezing.
You sighed as you were probably now sick, you entered your dark home and went upstairs to take a hot shower.
Afterwards you put on some comfy clothes and went downstairs to the kitchen, where there was a bag sitting on the island.
You tilted your head a bit as you walked to it and opened it, seeing it was a bag of candy.
Your eyes widened, it was the same as the one you had bought for LJ, every exact piece and amount.
There was a small note in it as well, all it read:

I'm sorry...

Someone tapped on your shoulder, you turned around to see LJ, he was slouched, looked depressed, and guilty.
He lifted up his claw, to which he was holding a single (favorite type of flower).
You looked away from him, feeling his silver eyes looking at you as you took the flower.
"You're right, I am an asshole.." He said quietly.
You looked up at him.
"I've been having mood swings lately...I don't know how or when it happened, but I just wake up angry or annoyed, and want to be alone...but that isn't an excuse for what I've done to you." He choked on his own words as he spoke.
You let out a shaky sigh, and he continued.
"I should've told you, knowing how you are, and how much I probably hurt my sweet, sweet gumdrop. Just sometimes my personality fluctuates, one minute I'm insane and the next I'm acting like a child, but that still isn't an excuse for nearly harming you. I'm sorry." At this point, his voice was very soft, and he seemed on the verge of crying.
You softly smiled and set the flower down, then you hugged him.
"Don't do it again...I forgive you." You replied, feeling tears in your eyes as well.
LJ hugged you back tightly, and kissed your forehead.
"I promise I won't, I love you." He said.
You then let go of him and wiped your eyes, a wider smile on your face as you poked his swirly nose.
"How about some candy th-*Achoo!*" You turned and went to pick up the bag of candy, but you sneezed, then felt yourself get dizzy.
LJ grinned and gently picked you up, "Perhaps later, you seem sick." He said.
You whined, feeling your head grow a bit warm.
LJ carries you to your room and laid you on your bed, he climbed in next to you.
He wrapped his arm around your waist and pulled you close, you nuzzled into his chest.
"I'll take care of you gumdrop." He said softly as he scratched your hair.
You smiled as you started falling asleep.
LJ listened to the rain that confined to our outside, and by the time he fell asleep, it stopped.
