"Ugh.... " Clockwork groaned opening her eyes but her sight was engulf by the darkness originating from the room.

"About time, " someone spat, so Clockwork snapped her head at the direction of the voice, but just saw Jeff narrowing his eyes at her.

"Jeff? " she croaked.

"Uhm, no. It's Harry Potter. " he sarcastically said, but Clockwork ignored it.

"I feel like I drank all the alcohols in the whole universe," she groaned, looking around the darkened room but only found out that Jeff and her were the only ones in the room. "What the hell Jeff?! Where's Jane and the others?! "

Jeff groaned, feeling as if the girl's voice will tear his ears off. "You think I wouldn't tell you if I knew? "

"No shit, dude. " she scoffed. "But seriously, where are they? "

"I don't know, " Jeff said, "All I know is we are never gonna find our friends." he added, sounding hopeless. Sadness was present in his voice and Clockwork could very well see the lonely and vulnerable flesh behind Jeff's burnt mask.

"No matter how we try, we are never gonna save them. No matter how brave, smart, professional, and desperate we are, it's hopeless when a group of ants is against the whole world. "

Clockwork's eyes softened, "Don't say that, Jeff. We still have the mirror. We can get out of here as long as we find Jack and Jane. There's still time. We can save our friends and the school. Don't act so hopeless. I'll still find Jill, Jane'll find Alice, Jack can find Toby, and you can find Ben and Eyeless Jack, and most importantly, you can see Red Lily again. "

That made Jeff simply tick.

"Don't you see, Clockwork? We are in deep shit ever since Red came in the school. Without her, I'd still be the strongest, I'd have no weaknesses, I'd be invincible! Ben, Masks and Eyeless Jack would still be here and even though we won't be safe for long, the whole school is at peace! " Jeff started to yell, but the girl understood that he needed to.

"God, I want to hate her, I want to blame her, I want to have the guts to want to kill her, I want to destroy her--I want to, but-- "

Clockwork cut him off, "But you can't. "

Jeff looked down, feeling embarrassed and stressed. "I can't even glare at her,... " he quietly said.

The cell room was dark, and their only source of light is the full moon from the celled window illuminating against their faces, but even though it is dark, Clockwork can very see the tears threatening to spill out of the boy's eyes.

"I love her Clockwork, " he admitted, "And I hate it. "

"I can see that. But I never thought that the Jeff the Killer would admit it. Quite funny actually. But I can't even laugh, " Clockwork said. "But love doesn't make you weak, Jeff. If ever, it made you stronger. "

"Bullshit, " he says.

Clockwork was about to say something back, but she was cut off by a sound from the cell across from them. "Jeff? Clockwork?! "

Clockwork recognized the voice almost immediately. "Jane! "

"Jeff, where are you?! " another voice, Jack, yelled.

"I'm with Clockwork! " Jeff replied.

"How are we gonna get out of here?! " Jane yelled back.

"I was going to use the mirror but we can't leave another angel behind. " Clockwork said. "But wait, where's YuI?"

The area went silent, nothing but the annoying crickets chirping around them surrounding the dim lighted cell.

"Jane, " Clockwork said in a threatening manner, but it also has a hint of fear. "Where, is, the fairy? "

Jane nudged Jack, "You tell her, "

Jack nudged back, "No, she asked you! "

"You knew the whole story! "

"Just tell her the news, "

Clockwork interfered, "Guys, I'm growing anxious because of your conversation. "

Jane sighed, finally giving in. "Fine, "

"Clockwork, about finding the angel, well.... " Jane trailed off, "YuI turned out to be the angel we were finding all the time. "

"What?.Then where's the angel? " Clockwork frantically asked.

"Clockwork, " Jeff answered, "YuI is the angel. "

"Yeah, and we walked a hundred miles to find the angel when it's just a feet  away from us. " Jack muttered.

Clockwork stood baffled at the news. "What?! How?! But most importantly, where is he?! " Clockwork demanded. "How did you know?! "

Clockwork was stressed because she couldn't bear to loose another angel. If they'd lost Yui, then it means they lost another transporter. One Angel could transport two persons, therefore more than one of their friends would be left behind.

"Well... " Jack trailed off, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Spill, Jack. " Jeff seethed getting impatient and anxious.

"I didn't get shot by one of the darts.... "

Jack's POV, A DAY EARLIER.....

"Get them. "

At that, darts were flying everywhere. I saw that Jeff was already passed out, so I took the chance to use him as a human shield.

Sorry, bro.... I thought.

However, after the darts went down, I pretended to fell asleep along with them for the reason of me not getting sucked dry with one of these pricks. Just then, I heard Ivy saying something.

"Where's the Angel? " she demanded.

Angel? There's no angel here.... Why the he'll would she look for the angel here?

"Guard! " she said, voice booming. And then I hear leaves rustling, probably one of the guards coming to her command. "Find that fairy. Don't let him escape. "

I hear silence, then sensed Ivy 's presence glaring over us.

"Bravest? " she quietly said, "But not clever enough to even think that your little fairy pet is the angel! " She laughed, "But don't worry, if you are in a desperate need to see your friends, you'll see one soon enough. "

She went near Jeff, and slightly nudged his head. "Such handsome and talented young men, you are... Too bad I despise Killers. Your kind killed my brother. "

"Although I have to thank CreepyPastas. If you hadn't killed my brother, then I wouldn't be second in line of the vampire throne. And soon..., I will be queen. All I have to do is get rid of the rest of the killers. "

Stupid Bitch,! I want to scream profanities at her, but I decided against it. All I know is that annoying fairy asshole is the one we've been looking for all along.

BACK TO THE PRESENT.

"Clockwork, " Jack said, "Don't kill me okay? "

Jane slapped his friend. "No time for fucking jokes, Jack! "

"No, " Clockwork said. "It's hopeless. "

She slouched against the dirty wall and held her head in her hands. "You're right, Jeff. We are never gonna get our friends back. "

"Clockwork,--"

"No, Jeff. It's hopeless and that's final. We lost another Angel and we can't get out of here. "

"Clockwork please, " Jane tried to reason, but Clockwork is being stubborn.

"Shut the fuck up, guys! We're screwed! We can't get out of here and even if we do, we still can't win this war," she stated. "I'm so stupid in thinking I could accomplish this mission. I'm so stupid to think that I can save the school. I failed to save my old school, and maybe I'll fail to save this one too. "

Her screaming turned into sobs, and none of her friends could even say something. They also felt hopeless, and so they cannot deny what Clockwork had said.

Clockwork and Laughing Jill's old school, Supernatural High, was being destroyed by the guardians that was raged because they cannot enter the school. She tried to save it, but it was too late once she arrived carrying the only material that could've saved them.

Right now, she felt as if she failed the second time around. She has always felt that this could be her second chance in making the right thing. But life being life, she felt useless.

And just then, Jeff grew the guts to say something. "You remind me of someone, " he blurted out.

"And who's that? " Clockwork said, barely above whisper.

"Me, " he replied. He glanced at the two to find them listening, but ignored their silly comments.

(Jane said, "Clockwork doesn't have anger issues like you, Jeff." )

(Jack said, "Yeah, and she isn't a lovesick asshole. ")

"But it's true, Clockwork. We both lost important stuff in our lives, " Jeff paused, "But that doesn't mean that we give up. I'm gonna find my friends until my last breath. Besides, what's the point of being dead if you don't live a little," he shrugged, laughing humorously.

"What's you're point? " Clockwork asked, fiddling with her Clock.

Jeff smirked, "We get out. "
