Crawling into bed, I let out a yawn. I made sure I had my tiny star nightlight on before I went to bed. The dark is scary since anything could be hiding in there.
Snuggling up in my fluffy blanket, I closed my eyes, not wanting to go to school.
After having a nice picnic with a pink bunny and a rainbow butterfly, I was about to go into deep sleep, that is until I heard something in the corner of my room.
Opening my eyes, I held my banket up to my chin, frightened of what I just heard.
Thinking the bogeyman was coming after me, I didn't dare move. A dark figure of a person came into my view, causing me to sink farther into my blankets.
"(Y/n)? Why are you hiding? It's just me!"
Raising a brow, I narrowed my eyes at the familiar voice.
"Darkie?"
Her blue eyes glistened at me from the dark before she wandered out of my corner. "Why were you hiding in my corner?" I questioned, sitting up with my hands in my lap.
"I just wanted to make sure you were okay." She grins at me, sitting down on my wooden floor.
"Oh, thanks. I thought you were a monster coming after me." I nervously chuckled, rubbing the back of my neck.
"Ah, nonsense! I'm a cute 'insane' monster!" Darkie giggles, placing her index fingers on the corner of her lips, making them seem like vampire teeth.
"You're silly. How are you?" I asked, crossing my legs at the edge of my bed.
"I'm doing good! I feel happy for once! I got to smack pie in Jeff's face, and he doesn't have eyelids." Dark laughs, covering her mouth so she stays quiet.
I snickered, peeping outside my window. The moon shined down perfectly on Dark, making it look like she was glowing. "Come on!" Darkness grabbed ahold of my hand, dragging me over to my window. "We're going on the roof!"
Frowning, I shook my head. "How? We don't have a latter?" I pointed out, causing Dark to wave it off.
"I brought one! How else did you think I got here?" Humming in response, I guess she was right.
Once Darkie helped me onto my roof, we gazed up at all the stars.
"Woah! This looks so cool!" I smiled, my eyes sparkling.
"Not a cool as you!" Darkness smirks over at me, provoking me to blush.
"Aw, stop it! You're awesome too!" I giggled, poking Darkie's nose, careful around her stitches. "For a psycho like yourself, you're not that bad."
I watched as Dark gasped, laying her hand over her heart. "I'm teasing! Sorry if I hurt your feelings." Seeing as she snickers at my facial expression, she waved it away.
"I'm just messing with you. No need to panic." Cuddling up together, we soon fell asleep in each other's arms.
