When You Meet
BEN Drowned -
Holding the toy up in the air, I giggled as the child tried to grab it from me, standing on their tippy-toes.
"Come on, (Y/n)! You're no fun!" She whined, crossing her arms and pouting at me.
"Okay, okay, I'm sorry. Here's your doll back." I chuckled, ruffling her hair. I've been friends with his little girl for a while, but her parents aren't fond of her talking to me.
"Thank you, I'm gonna go to the bathroom. Don't go anywhere!" Nodding my head, I watched as she stumbled out of her room, leaving me alone. Turning on her TV, I jumped when a males head popped through, glaring at me.
"W-Who are you? Why are you in the TV?" I questioned, scanning the male that also seemed like a ghost.
"Don't play dumb, (Y/n)."
Bloody Painter -
Humming a slight tune to myself, I continued to write about the scenery in front of me. I was sitting on a bench at the park, watching the sunset as people started to head back home. Even though there was hardly anyone around me, I felt watched.
Placing my pencil on my paper, I stopped and listened. I could hear someone's blood rushing not that far away from me. Glancing over my shoulder, I made eye contact with a random male who was sitting by a Cherry tree. So you're the one staring at me? Sighing, I started to put my stuff away, ready to head back home until I felt a hand on my shoulder.
Candy Pop -
Grumbling under my breath, I kicked a pebble that laid in my path. Watching it bounce down the hill, I raised a brow when I noticed it lead me to an abandoned house that was on the outskirts of the woods. Glancing around me, I headed towards the house, wondering how long the place has been standing for. I was about to turn around a leave before I noticed movement inside the place.
"What...? Is someone living in there?" I huffed to myself, chuckling at the thought of someone actually living there.
Peeking into the broken windows of the house, I scanned the dirty living spaces inside, waiting to see something. I was just about to shrug my shoulders until someone did appear on the other side of the window. He was dressed up as a blue jester, smiling his sharp teeth at me.
We both stared at each other, seeming to both feel the aura around us. He wasn't human, and he knew I wasn't either.
"Who are you?" I whispered, getting closer to the shattered window.
"Candy Pop, and you're (Y/n), right?" Raising a brow, I slowly nodded my head, watching a smile slowly creep onto his face. "Nice to see you again, (Y/n)..."
Dark Link -
Turning off my phone, I let out a deep sigh. I just finished a new video game that I got two days ago, and wow! There were so many twists and turns & cliffhangers that is was almost impossible to put down.
Glancing up at the tree I was sitting under, I noticed it was starting to get windy. Thankfully it wasn't supposed to rain until tomorrow, so I got time to chill outside. I was about to head back inside to grab some food until I heard a branch crack by something heavy.
"Hello?" I questioned, peeking around the trees in my backyard. I didn't notice anyone, but I heard someone breathing not that far away from me. "I can hear you breathing! Come out!"
Holding their hands in the air, I watched as a male stepped out from behind a nearby tree. "Careful, (Y/n). It's just me." He smiles, slowly lowering his arms. "I'm not going to hurt you. My name is Dark Link, do you remember that name?" He asks, tilting his head to the side.
"Dark Link...?"
Dr.Smiley -
Fixing the hat on top of my head, I continued to clean off the counters. I swear, kids make such a mess when eating ice cream. Chuckling under my breath, I let the tables air dry before heading back behind the counter. I was just closing up my ice cream shop until I heard a knock on the glass door.
Raising a brow, I peeked my head around the corner, noticing a male staring at me. Scanning the area behind him, I realized he was alone. Why is he in a doctors coat at night?
"Hello? Can I help you?" I questioned, opening the door a little to poke my head through.
"You can help me by remembering who I am, (Y/n)." He states, folding his hands behind his back as his red eyes pierced into mine.
"Who are you...?"
Eyeless Jack -
Placing my computer to the side, I pulled my blankets up to my chin, shivering from the cold. I have the A/C on during the fall, but I'm too lazy to get up and turn it off. Closing my eyes, I started to dream until I felt a presence next to me, but I waved it off.
I continued to sleep, but I soon felt my blankets getting pulled off me. Snapping my eyes open, I sat up and stared at the male in front of me. He seemed kinda shocked as well, just staring back at me until he raised his fist and hit me upside the head, knocking me out.
Heartful Lou -
Scrolling through my phone, I rested my back against the counter, forgetting the fact that I was cleaning. I work at a coffee shop, and I'm that worker that stays after to close up the place. All the tables were clean and now I'm just working on cleaning the counters themselves.
Hearing the bell over the door ring, I raised a brow, knowing I flipped the sign saying that we were closed.
"I'm sorry, but we're closed." I confronted the male but felt bad when I noticed he was soaked from the rain. "Oh, sorry, here. This will help you dry up." I handed him a dry towel and scanned his appearance.
"Thank you, (Y/n)! I'm happy that you didn't lock up just yet." He chuckles, handing back the towel.
"How do you know my name? You don't look familiar to me, and besides, I'm not wearing my nametag." I state, crossing my arms.
"Remember Lou? That's me! I'm happy I found you again!"
Hobo Heart -
Crossing my legs over one another, I flipped the page of a book I found in the woods. I was just chilling at a small pond, trying to catch up on the books that I found in an abandoned school. I was so close to finishing my book until someone sat down beside me. Glancing up, I noticed a male that had skeleton markings like me. Another Gemberling. He was staring right at me, and I started to get a little uncomfortable.
"Can I help you?" I questioned, lowering my book to my lap.
"I know you won't remember me, but I remember you. How can I forget a face like yours, (Y/n)." He chuckles, placing a cold hand on my shoulder.
"Uh, well, you're correct, I don't know you." I chuckled awkwardly, not making eye contact with the male.
"Well, then put down that book and let's talk, shall we?"
Homicidal Liu -
Stepping out onto the freshly cut grass, I stretched my arms above my head, trying to crack my back. Today is a beautiful day to visit the park. Kids were playing outside, birds are singing their melodies, the sun is shining with little clouds in the sky. My definition of beautiful.
Crouching under a cherry blossom, I dusted off the loose dirt by the roots before sitting down. I thought I'd get out of the house and relax at a nearby park. As long as no one bothers me everything will be fine. Folding my hands behind my head, I sighed deeply before closing my eyes, trying to clear my head.
"Excuse me?" Clenching my jaw in annoyance, I snapped my eyes open, staring at the male who was crouched down to my height.
"What do you want? Can't you see I'm trying to relax?" I spat, closing my eyes once again, not caring if the stitched male was still in front of me.
"Well, that isn't a nice way to greet your family member." He growls, causing my heart to leap into my chest. My family was murdered...
Hoodie -
Throwing my backpack on my bed, I ran my hands through my hair, stressed out from school. I was about to plop down onto my bed until I noticed a book out of the corner of my eye. Raising a brow, I grabbed it off my dressed and looked at it. Another new book?
Glancing around my room, I shrugged before placing it back on my dresser. I'm not really shocked since I keep getting new books almost every day from someone in an orange hoodie? It's kinda creepy to think about, but I didn't mention it to my mother, not wanting to scare her.
Hearing a knock on my window, I jumped and noticed the male standing at my window.
Jason The Toymaker -
Brushing my hair out of my face, I focused on cutting the wood in front of me. My friend was gone at work, and I decided I'll be nice and make her a doll she always wanted.
Carefully pushing the wood dust onto the floor, the smell of cut wood drafted through the air. "Now that smells relaxing." I chuckled, heading over to cut some fabric for the dress. Without looking, I tried to grab ahold of the scissors, but I grabbed the blade side instead.
"OW!" I jumped back in surprise, watching the scissors fall to the floor as blood seeped through the cut on my finger. Thankfully it wasn't deep, but it hurt like hell. I tried to hold in my tears, but some slipped.
"Dang, you take after me with making dolls!" Gasping, I glanced over at the strange male that was standing at my workroom doorway.
"W-Who are you?" I mumbled, delicately cleaning my cut with a warm rag without making eye contact with the stranger.
"Aw, I'd hoped you'd remember me. I'm Jason, nice to meet you again, (Y/n)."
Jeff The Killer -
I was walking with my friend at the park until she nudged me. Glancing over at her, I raised a brow, wondering what she wanted. "What?" She stopped walking and just smiled at me. "What? I can't read your mind!" I repeated, getting slightly annoyed.
"I think that boy likes you~" Raising a brow, I glanced over my shoulder only to see no one.
"What are you talking about?" She moved her hand a little to point, trying not to make it obvious. Looking in the direction she's pointing, I noticed a tall male just staring at me. My hand instantly went to cover the scar over my chest, getting an uneasy feeling.
"Sure, I'm getting out of here. He's creeping me out." I turned on my heel and walked away, having my friend jog after me.
Kagekao -
Humming a little tune to myself, I stepped into the park, scanning the area with my eyes. Kids were laughing and playing with each other while their parents relaxed, finally able to get some time to themselves. It was a nice day outside, and I'm glad I can enjoy it.
Walking along the path that borders the park, I stuffed my hands in my pockets, many things flooding my mind that I didn't notice someone running up to me.
"Excuse me!?" Jumping out of my thoughts, I straightened up my posture and glanced around for the voice. A tiny girl was standing in front of me, giving me the puppy eyes. "Can you grab our ball? It rolled into the woods and I don't wanna get lost."
Pressing my lips together, I peered into the woods that was about ten feet away from me. "Sure, I'll get you your ball, stay here." The girl giggles, bouncing on her tippy-toes while thanking me over and over again.
Marching over to the woods, I pushed away some low hanging branches, spotting the ball that was stuck in a tiny creek. Geez, how did the kids get the ball this far into the woods? I questioned, grabbing ahold of the ball, but another hand landed on top of mine.
"Oh sorry, are you stealing this too?" The male questioned, a weird mask covering his face. "Wait... (Y/n)? Is that you?"
Laughing Jack -
I laughed with my friends as we were out trick or treating. I was in my demon form as my friends were dressed up as these guys named Tim and Brian. I don't know who they are but whatever! My friends know I'm a demon and thankfully they are pretty chill about it. Walking up to a house, I got my candy and waited for my friend to get there.
As I waited, I glanced around at everyone's cool costumes until I noticed this tall clown hiding in the woods, just staring at me.
"Hey, (Y/n)? You good?" Jumping out of my thoughts, I smiled at them, nodding my head.
"Yea, just looking at everyone costumes," I stated, glancing back towards the tall clown only to notice he was gone.
Masky -
I was strolling through the woods, minding my own business as I watched the birds fly by. I found nature to be really relaxing once I dropped out of college. I continued to walk around until I heard footsteps behind me. Glancing over my shoulder, I notice that no one was there.
"Maybe a deer?" I raised a brow, going to turn back around until I was tackled from the front.
"I'm sure a deer." A male stated, causing me to yelp in surprise. Everything bad popped up in my head and I started to freak out. He raised a thick rock, ready to slam it down onto my had until he looked at me more.
Squeezing my eyes shut, he quickly got off me and dropped the rock. "(Y/n)?"
Nathan The Nobody -
Stepping over a large fallen tree, I kept my eyes on the giant deer in front of me. My fingers twitch from excitement, hoping to bring this deer down. This one whole deer could be our dinner for about a week. Kneeling behind a high rock, I lifted my bow in the air, aiming for the heart. Thankfully the deer was facing my way, so hitting the heart should be easy.
Right as I was about to release my arrow, a loud crack echoed through the woods, making the deer look towards me. Freezing in my spot, I stared right back at the deer, hoping it'll look around me and carry on eating.
The forest fell silent again, causing the deer to relax, but someone fell through some bushes not that far away from me, causing the deer to run away.
"Come on! That could have been my dinner!" I groaned, shooting daggers at the male that was dusting himself off. "Who are you?" I questioned, placing my arrow in my arrow carrier that rests on my hip.
"I was hoping you'd remember, but I'm Nathan. I couldn't help but notice you from a distance. Sorry for scaring off your dinner, I can go catch you a new one." He smiles, giving me an uneasy feeling in my stomach.
"Why do you seem familiar?"
Nick Vanill -
Pugging in my headphones, I placed them over my head as I pushed 'play' on my playlist. Glancing up at the woods behind my apartment, I sucked in a breath and started for the entrance. I've never been in the woods before, so let's hope I don't get lost.
Stepping over the small creek that ran behind my apartment, I smiled when I heard splashing of frogs jumping into the water. I remember trying to catch them when I was little, good times.
"Geez, I feel so small." I gasped, staring up at the sky that was being blocked by the large trees. I wonder if I'll see any deer or bunnies carrying on with their life.
Going to scratch my forehead, my eyes landed on the small bracelet on my wrist. I don't know anything about it besides that my older brother made it for me.
"Where did you get that bracelet from?" Jumping from the sudden voice, I turned around to see an older male staring at me. His dull gray eyes pierced into mine, causing me to shrink in my spot.
"I-I don't know, I grew up with it. My parents said my older brother made it for me." I stated, noticing something flicker behind the male's eyes.
"Ah, so you're (Y/n)? Well, I'm Nick, Nick Vanill. I hope you remember that name."
Puppeteer -
Watching your victims walk out the door of their house, I sighed. They're going to buy a new house since they don't like have me here, but I'm already attached to them, so they can't get rid of me that easily.
Floating over to their piano, I plopped down onto the wooden seat. I was about to start playing until I heard a noise behind me. Glancing over my shoulder, I noticed a male with golden glowing eyes staring back at me.
"Huh... hello? This is my house I'm haunting. Go find another one." I stated, turning my back to the male.
"I didn't come here for the house, I'm came here for you."
The DollMaker -
Rubbing my eyes, I glanced over at my alarm clock that blinked red. It was around three in the morning, and I obviously couldn't sleep. School really messed up my sleeping schedule, and it didn't help that I stay up all night. Sighing, I ran my hand over my face before looking at myself in the mirror, observing my eyes that seemed to sparkle in the dark.
"They do look beautiful. If only I had the courage to show them off at school." I chuckled under my breath, pressing my lips together at the thought. I fiddled around with a capsule that holds my coloured eye contacts, trying to find something to do since there's no use in sleeping now.
I could just create another piece of jewellery? Nodding my head at the idea, I opened my closet door and started to dig around for my jewellery beads. What I didn't know was there was someone that was in my closet, holding my capsules of beads in their hands.
"I gotta say, I love your jewellery." Yelping, I fell backwards, my eyes never leaving the darkness of my closet. I would have thought my mind was playing tricks on me until I saw a male staring back at me, a smirk forming on his lips.
"Who are you? What do you want? Why are you in my closet? Where did you come from?" I spat out questioned left and right, watching the taller male figure take a step out of my closet.
"That is a story for another time, I'm just happy I found you again, (Y/n)."
Ticci Toby -
I was just heading back home alone after watching a scary movie. It was a good movie but now it's night out and my mother is going to ground me since I told her I was going to be home an hour ago.
Huffing, I wrapped my arms around myself as I walked passed some woods. Seeing movement out of the corner of my eye, I glanced over into the dark forest only to see nothing.
Shrugging it off, I continued to walk until I was tackled to the ground with a hatchet to my neck. Staring up at the male, I noticed he had stuff covering his face, but that didn't matter since he raised the hatchet in the air, ready to end me.
I wasn't going scream since it would be too late. Closing my eyes, I waited for death but nothing came. Slowly opening my eyes, I noticed he was just staring at me.
