Your P.O.V

The next day you were back at work serving coffee to a table of teenage girls.They seemed very nice but something was off about them.One had blonde hair and blue eyes her lipstick was very visable,There were 2 brown haired girls.One had short hair with pink tips,the other one had longer brown hair she had a green eye and the other was covered by hair.She looked as if she had just washed her face.You ignored it and shrugged your sholders.You were at the counter talking to your friend (F/N) when a girl named Olivia (please change if that's your name) came up to you and (F/N).

"Hey (Y/N) there's a guy here looking for you."She said.Hm?"I'll be right back."Your friend nodded as you walked back to the front counter.You saw Toby standing on the side waiting for you.You walked up to him not noticing the eyes following you."Toby what are you doing here?"You asked him. He looked up at you and smiled."I just wanted to see you and say hi that's all."He mumbled the last part.You lost the smile one you had when you noticed one of the girls with the hair covering her face pointed at you and whispered.

You knew she was pointing at you and not Toby.She was looking directly at you.You didn't want to make it obvious to Toby so you looked back at him."Thanks for the visit Toby.I've really got to finish work.I'll see you at home."You smiled.You didn't feel like giving Toby a kiss.You could get fired.Toby smiled,nodded and walked out of the door.

You looked back at the girls who were now laughing and giggling.You rolled your eyes and went back to the back."Hey I saw those girls looking at you.Do you know them?"Olivia asked.You shook your head."Judging but how they were looking at you they were probably jealous of you."(F/N) added."Well she was nice with me not long ago." Oliva snapped.

Then she and (F/N) both responded at the same time "They're jealous of you because of your boyfriend!" You leaned back when they got close.You gave them this 'are you for real look'.The nodded."Why would they be jealous?Like the blonde and short haired brunette look like high school students.!Like I don't know 14?! The other brunette was like my age!"You exclaimed.They put their hands on you back and rubbed it."Deep breaths."You inhaled and exhaled.

"Just don't think about it to much okay?"You nodded.Not bothering to put a smile back on your face.You walked back to the counter.Lucky enough there were 3 people waiting for someone to take their orders."Hello there.I'm (Y/N) welcome!What would you like today?"You said with a fake model voice and smile.Wanting to find another job wasn't an option."Um...yeah!I'm Lucas.Can I have a plain black coffee please?"Lucas told you.You nodded still smiling.

"Alright then that'll be $4.65."You told him looking back up at him from the register.You noticed the blush on his face but didn't question it.He handed you a 5 dollar bill. You took it from his hands as you fished in the register for change.You pulled out three dimes and a nickel and handed it to him.

He rubbed his neck and walked to a table.You took the next customers order as she was a pregnant lady.You told her you'd take the food to her since she was pregnant.You did the whole bullshitty introduction before looking up and seeing that girl.She and you had a staring contest before you broke it."So.What would you like to order?"You asked her like you would to any normal human being.She just laughed and leaned in closed to you."I'm not very happy that your talking to that boy.You better stay away from him or we're gonna have a problem.Okay.You not good enough for him."She told you.

You gave a look to her and rolled your eyes."Okay whatever.Are you gonna order something or not?"She laughed and walked back to get circle of friends who were at the door.She talked to them and have gave me one final glare before leaving. "Damn.Whats her problem."A girl named Ruby said as she walked up to you.She was a red head,she had freckles and had a heavy texan accent,she was a bit chubby but could still fight.She had one of her front teeth missing." I don't know."You answered.

"Hey I saw her eyeing your man."She added."I know."You told her.There was silence between the two you.Ruby then put her hand on your shoulder. "If she ever messes with you agian let me know.I really wanna pound her into the dirt."Ruby said ending that with a chuckle.You smiled and nodded.Thought that might get us or maybe her fired she has her ways.

Time skip to 7:00 pm

You were walking home.You had just watched as your group of friends departed in different directions as you all walked home together.You were pretty close to home.You were by the all way where you first had seen Toby.You felt someone tap your shoulder.You expected it to be Mason because you still haven't asked Toby what he did to them or why you haven seen them.You turned to see no Mason but instead that girl from the cafe."What?"You asked her.She laughed and said "I didn't think you treated your customers with this attitude."She smiled.You rolled your eyes."I can treat you however I want when I'm not at work."You shot back at her.

She scoffed and looked away.You wanted to walk away.But didn't.She then looked back at you.She tightened her grip around your shoulder.You flinched feeling the pain hit you hard in the shoulder.You stumbled away from her clutching your shoulder.You slowly blinked."You shouldn't have let your guard down."She whispered into your ear as she punched you in the gut making you back away and fall onto the floor.She came at you hitting your cheek until it turned red.Your neck was bleeding due to the impact of you hitting the floor.She got up and looked at you giving a glare." I'm not playing when I'm telling you to stay away from him."She ran off as you got up.You limped the rest of the way home.Your body ached from the hard impact from the cement.You felt like your back was bleeding the clothes you wore aren't very thick.

You got back to the comfort of your home.Although your not happy right now.You feel tired and weak.You opened the door to be greated with Toby watching TV.He doesn't notice you as you walked in but did drag his attention to you when you walked past him."Hey (Y/N)!How was work?"He asked curious of your day."Okay..."You mumbled. He wasn't wearing his goggles as he squinted his eyes he saw that your uniform was dirty,and that your arms didn't look good.He stood up and walked towards you in the kitchen.You turned and faced him."(Y/N)..."He said as he cupped your face.You flinched.The touch was so delicate yet it hurt.

"What happened?"He asked.You suddenly got angry. 'This is all his fault!He's getting all the attention from all the girls.Soon he'll do the same to you agian just like he did.He came to work and got himself eyed that's on him.' A voice in your head told you.You rolled your eyes annoyed and pushed past him.You felt his eyes follow as you moved up the stairs.You went into the bathroom and got the first aid,sitting on the toilet lid as you opened it up.Toby walked into the bathroom after you."(Y/N)...please..tell me whats wrong."He asked you.You twitched for once and took a deep breath."Toby.Do you have a ex-girlfriend?"You said straight forward.Toby seemed taken back by your question.

But he answered with"(Y-y/N) since when did you-"He was interrupted by you."Toby I asked you a question. Answer .Now."  You said getting inpatient.You stood up not looking at Toby.He yelped when you did."O-okay O-kay!I did.N-n-now you a-answer mine."He said,his breath shakey. You lost some of the rage you had but it was still there.You cane up to Toby and pointed at him."Your ex is fucking crazy!!"You said as you left the bathroom with the kit."Wait what?!"He yelled out. You turned to looked at him again."Yeah!She looked suspicious as hell with one eye covered with her brown hair!And she was wearing so much make up on her cheeks and jaw you could see it!"You walked away needing to cool off.

Toby's P.O.V

Brown hair covering her eye, make up...

I immediately realize who this was.Why was I so blind and oblivious.She's the one who always tries to get my attention,and asks me so much about (Y/N).The ex girlfriend thing is a lie.You knew when (Y/N) is mad or stressed usually it's best to take what she said and later tell the truth.I really need to talk to her now .
