【your pov】

I was walking home from the meeting. At the meeting Megan nearly devoured all the cheesecake. I walked up to my house and tried opening the door. Didn't open so that means my parents aren't home. I grabbed my key and opened the door. My stomach growled and I walked to the kitchen. When I got into the kitchen I saw a guy in there with a mask on. We both just looked at each other. Well until I threw a newspaper at him. "Hey what was that for!!" He yelled at me. I shrugged. "Get out?" I asked which made him look at me again. "Sure once you tell me where your cheesecake is." He said walking towards me. "You sound like Megan. My cheesecake crazed friend." I said to him and he just stared at me. "Where is your cheesecake?!" He said again. I sighed and pointed at the fridge. He ran to the fridge an pulled out one of my mom's cheesecakes. We looked at each other awkwardly. "Want some?" He said pulling out the cheesecake. I shrugged then nodded my head. "So what's your name?" He asked. "(Y/n). Yours?" He stood there for a little bit as if to think. "Masky." He finally answered. "That can't be your real name." I said in disbelief. He sighed then answered again. "Tim." I smiled and we ate some cheesecake. "So Tim why are you wearing a mask?" I asked pointing at the mask. "I can't tell you why." He answered. We sat there eating cheesecake. He kept glancing at the window as if to expect to see something. I put a forkful of cheesecake in my mouth and asked. "Whatcha looking at?" He snapped out of his trance and shook his head. "Nothing." He replied then went back to eating his cheesecake. His mask was tilted up showing his mouth. Curiosity got the best of me and I quickly pulled off the mask revealing his face. He looked at me with a forkful of cheesecake an inch away from his face. I sat there shocked. We sat there in awkward silence. "I just met you like 1 minute ago and you already feel like a brother to me." I said smiling. He smiled back and gave me a hug. I hugged back. I was an only child so I didn't have any siblings. "Can you be my brother?" I asked innocently. He looked at me with soft eyes. "Sure kiddo." He smiled and ruffled my hair which made me laugh. He looked out the window and froze. "I-I have to go." He said grabbing his mask. I frowned. "It's ok I'll be back soon." He reassured me with a smile. I smiled too and gave him one last hug. He then put the mask back on and walked out. I looked at the window and saw two other guys. "I hope he's back soon." I whispered to myself.
