~Reader pov~

I itched my ears intensely and growled slightly.

"HHHHH STUPID ITCH!!!! I WILL DEFEAT YOU!!!!!" I announced and I continued. "Sure hope it isn't mange...." I whispered to myself as my eyes widened. "Please don't be mange..." I whispered once again as I continued to itch.

"Here let me get that." A male voice piped up behind me as a hand scratched behind my ear, filling me with relief. I drooled a bit for some reason. Probably because it felt SO good.

"Thank you." I chimed with a smile spread across my face. I turned to face my savior who confirmed I didn't have mange. I found myself face to face with a person who has a white mask with facial features that are a sort of black. Darn are we close... I backed up a bit being a little uncomfortable. I outstretched my hand as I cleared my throat so I could say my introduction. "Hello my name is (Y/N)." I calmly said as I awaited his reply. His shoulders moved slightly, as if he was holding in a laugh which made my ears go flat.

"Tim. Call me Masky." He bluntly said and grasped my hand into a gentle handshake. I pulled my hand back as a reaction to his behavior. My ears still laid flat and I wrapped my tail around myself. I scowled at him. He chuckled, "What did I do?" He reached a hand out to touch me and I slinked away. I hissed at him and he chuckled more. "What you smell dog on me or something?" He chirped. I started to think why the heck I'm doing this. Since he doesn't smell of another animal and he isn't doing anything to me... I started thinking about life again and how it's just the writing of some preteen that's just sad. Like seriously she probably talks to herself daily a-

"ALRIGHT. YOU KNOW THE TIME!" Splendy exclaimed.

"Yeah it's..." Puppeteer checked his watch "7:52 pm." He concluded and Splendy facepalmed.

"No that's not what I... no...." He rasped with a frown. He snapped into a smile that seemed like an insane grin that looked very... forced... it was a scary sight to see. We all got over there, afraid of what he would do to us. I picked up a mini cheesecake on my way up there because well... there was just a surplus of them on the table... so I might have grabbed ten... okay I lied.... I grabbed basically all of them.... ANYWAYS THAT'S BESIDES THE STORY. What story?

"Shhh reader-chan." Author-Senpai hissed. Wait since when did I.....

"Hmmm.... Tim get up here." Splendy bellowed. He did as told and slinked his way through the thicket of a crowd. His hand plunged into the hat and out he pulled my bracelet. Of course. I almost tripped while making my way through the crowd so slender used one of his tentacles to help me get through. I mentally thanked him and looked up at Masky.

"Shall we?" I asked. He stood there and I could almost feel him rolling his eyes. He walked into the closet and I followed close behind. I kinda like this guy. We both awkwardly sat in the closet and I curled up next to him.

"I don't get you. One minute you hate me and the next you wanna be all snuggly?" He huffed and I shrugged.

"Cat logic. Am I right?" I giggled a bit and he chuckled a bit. I let out a hum of curiosity as I moved so I could place my hands on his mask. He tensed up as I was about to pull it off.

"Wha- What are you doing?" He stammered and backed away, leaving me about a foot away from him.

"Isn't it obvious? I'm trying to get your mask off." I purred.

"W-well don't!" He stammered again. I smirked and crawled up to him. I place my hands on his mask again and pull it off. He screeches slightly and desperately began to reach around in the dark for it. I could obviously see his mask because I have cat eyes. I purred slightly at my success.

"Why do you need that mask? I think you look handsome." I teased. He blushed and found his mask, instantly putting it back on.

"None ya." He whispered. I tilted my head in confusion.

"None ya...?" I repeated.

"None ya business." He huffed. I snorted and curled up again. He pet me a bit and I purred deeply. The closet door opened and Ben snapped a photo. I didn't care. I was comfy and I was getting pets. I was good.

[Well that certainly was something. I kinda wanna do a Hoodie one none since I did Toby in the last chapter and this one featured Masky... so it would make sense...]
