Bloody Painter

Feeling my cheeks warming up, I swallowed the lump in my throat. Out of everyone, it just had to be him. My hands began to shake, my eyes never leaving the paper with Helen's name on it.

"Are you alright?" Jumping out of my thoughts, I glanced up to see dark blue eyes staring down at me.

"Y-Yea... You startled me." I smiled awkwardly, clenching my jaw as he took the paper out of my hand, his fingers brushing against mine. Shocking, he didn't have his mask or gloves on today, but hey, I'm not gonna complain.

"If you say so," Helen mumbles, returning the paper to Splendor.

"All right, you love birds! Into the closet you go!" Splendor chirps, clapping his hands together as I walked behind Helen to the closet. Freezing in my place, I turned back to the jolly slender brother.

"W-We're not love birds." I stammered, waving my hands in the air.

"Oh sure you two are! I see how you both look at each other when the other one isn't looking~"

Getting slapped upside the head, Splendor frowns at his brother, Slender, who stood behind him.

"Just let them enjoy their seven minutes, Splendor." Slender grumbles, crossing his arms. Seeing everyone's eyes on me, I quickly turned on my heel and speed-walked into the closet. Helen was already inside with his arms by his side. I didn't dare make eye contact with him, but I could tell he was blushing a little bit.

"Enjoy your seven mintues~" BEN whispers, a snicker on his face before he closed the door on us.

Hearing a clicking sound, we both knew he locked us up inside. Even though I've been standing in here for a few seconds, it's already getting difficult to breathe. Feeling my hands begin to shake, I rubbed my right arm to make it subside for now.

"Deep breaths, (Y/n)." Yelping, I turned towards the voice in the dark, my heart pounding in my chest.

"Damn it, Helen! Don't do that!" I hissed, letting a sigh escape my mouth.

"Sorry, but I could hear you breathing heavily over here and I didn't want you passing out..."

Pressing my lips together, I leaned up against the wall and slid down to the ground. "Well... thank you for looking out of me." I smiled, looking at the dark silhouette of Helen in the corner.

"No need to thank me..."  Turning back to face the closed door, I could hear the boys whispering on the other side, causing me to roll my eyes. Boys these days...

I was about to close my eyes, it's been a long day and I would like to take another nap until a strange noise caught me by surprise. Raising a brow, I lifted my head from the wall, glancing around the closet.

"Do you hear that?" I mumbled, tilting my head towards Helen. The only reply I got out of him was a laugh.

"Do you mean this sound?" As soon as he said that, I heard the same annoying sound from before. It sounded like a chip bag, but I wasn't so sure since I didn't see any chip bags in Helen's hands when I entered the closet.

"Is that food? If so... where did you hide it?" I questioned, letting my eyes adjust in the dark so I could see Helen a little better.

"My pockets, duh. And yes, it's food. Doritos to be exact." The smirk in his voice was so obvious as he crumpled the bag again.

"Okay, okay, stop making that sound." I hissed, punching him playfully on the shoulder. "But seriously, can I have a chip?" I pleaded, holding out my hand even if he can't see it.

"What do I get in return?"

"Smartass..." I coughed, blushing once I saw I was staring into Helen's dark eyes, noticing that he got closer to me. "I-I... um.... hi..." Gazing down at the floor, I wiggled my fingers around that were laying on my lap.

"You alright, (Y/n)?" Feeling a warm hand on my shoulder, I stiffened at the sudden touch since it startled me. "S-Sorry... I shouldn't have done that..." Helen states, quickly taking his hands off me, but I grabbed his wrist, drawing him closer to me. Feeling my lips brush against his skin on his cheek, I gave him a little peck before pushing him away from me.

"T-There... That's why you get... Can I have my chip now?" Crossing my arms, I glared at the ground, listening to the crease of the bag.

"Here..." Helen motioned, holding a chip out to me. Taking it with tender fingers, I thanked him before popping it into my mouth.

"Sorry about the kiss... I kinda wasn't paying attention..." I stated once I swallowed the Dorito, refusing to look up at the artist. I started to feel uncomfortable when I received no answer, thinking I messed up everything.

"Hey, if you didn't do it, I probably would have." Helen lifts up my chin with his index finger, making me look at him.

"W-What?... R-Really?" I stuttered, making sure I was hearing this correctly.

"Well... Yea... I've liked you for a while now, but I was afraid of doing anything that could ruin our relationship as friends." Watching as Helen rubs the back of his neck, all I could do was smile at the dork. I was about to say something but light-filled my vision.

"Ooooo~ What's going on here?~" Covering my eyes from the sudden light, I glanced up to see The Puppeteer smirking down at us with his arms crossed.

"Nothing that you're probably thinking." Helen barks, standing up before giving me a hand.

"You're more talkative then I remember, what happened?" Puppeteers' eyes landed on me, making me feel exposed under his gaze.

"Enough talk, Puppeteer. I'll see you around." Helen snorted, grabbing me by my wrist and pulling me up towards his room. "Sorry about that, (Y/n). I was gonna say something before Puppeteer ruined the moment... Do... you know... wanna be my girlfriend/boyfriend??" Helen closed his eyes like he was gonna be slapped, waiting for an answer. I didn't have to say anything as I cupped his face, giving him a tender kiss on the lips.

"That's my answer."
