You Can't Sleep Because The Bloody Psychopath Might Kill You

Once you and Hoodie made it to the M.A.C.M, the door was locked and you weren't able to get in. No matter how many times Hoodie tried forcing the doors open, it wouldn't work.

"It muse be closed, dammit," Hoodie mumbled, releasing the door handle after giving up. "It would've been convenient if MACM were open 24/7..." You mutter, trying to see if you could see anything through the cracked windows. "The nurse is obviously a Creepypasta  herself. She may be out hunting at this hour, who knows," Hoodie remarked.

"So then what are we gonna do Hoodie??"

"Jack can heal himself, he'll be fine. Me? Only a few scratches, I can bare."

"Those huge slash marks in your arm aren't scratches, Hoodie."

    "Just—don't worry about it!"

You gave an annoyed grunt and quickly stormed ahead of Hoodie as you two walked away from MACM, showing him that you were upset. Hoodie, feeling taken aback sped to catch up with you and tried slowing you down again. "Don't get mad at me, I really will be fine, really. Maybe when we get to the next town, we'll be able to stop at their MACM," He pleaded. "I'm not mad, I'm just worried...and a little stressed out," You murmured, turning Laughing Jack's Killersphere in your hands. "No wonder. You're trying to catch and take care of murderers while at the same time trying to protect them from other murderers," Hoodie replied, rubbing his arm and wincing slightly at the pain.

"I wouldn't want to be doing anything different," You sigh, "but I'm just a bit on edge from our encounter with Jeff. Not to mention, still a bit tired..."

"Maybe you should be the one inside a Killersphere," Hoodie joked. He then placed an arm on your shoulder and said, "Let's see if we can find another place to stay for the night so you can get more sleep." You nod in agreement and the two of you began to walk at the same pace, at the same time staying alert for any danger that may be lurking around.

As the two of you are walking, you notice from a distance the figure of someone running away from one of the houses on the street. You tilt your head as the figure seemed to begin running in your direction...

"{Y/n}..." Hoodie murmured, becoming defensive when he notices the person approaching you two. As they came closer, you could see that it was a masked woman with a machete grasped in her hands which were covered in blood. This lady looked quite familiar to you.

Hoodie quickly whipped out his gun and aimed at the woman running towards you. You grab ahold of his arm and shake your head, "Don't shoot, that looks a lot like Nurse Lydia from the M.A.C.M!" Sure enough, when she finally reached you two, you could recognize her green hair and the pink and red mask.

"There's...no time," She panted, seemingly in a hurry. "We have to make a run for it."

"We? What are you talking about, what's going on?" You ask her, becoming concerned. You then hear the sound of sirens in the distance and the next thing you know Nurse Lydia suddenly grabs ahold of your arm and started running with you without a warning. "No time to explain!"

"Get your hands off of her!" Hoodie yelled, dashing behind you and Nurse Lydia. You heard the sound of sirens wailing in the distance getting louder h and you knew that the police were chasing after this woman.

"What on earth did you do? And where are you taking me??" You screamed at her, stumbling over yourself as she continued to pull you through the vacant streets. "Somewhere we can safely hide!" She replied, and she rapidly made a sharp turn into a dark ally way.

Once in the dark of the ally, both you and Nurse Lydia dropped to the hard ground and Hoodie came tumbling down behind you two. "Get down!" Nurse Lydia hissed and she shoved both you and Hoodie's heads into the ground. The blue and red flashing lights gleamed on the opposite wall of the ally way. Hoodie tried fighting the Nurse back, but you gave him a look that it was ok and he stopped, letting Nurse Lydia hold you both down.

After what seemed like forever of waiting, the police sirens and flashing lights were finally far gone and Nurse Lydia released her hold on yours and Hoodie's heads. "What the hell?" Snapped Hoodie as he rubbed the back of his head and faced the the masked lady. You couldn't see his face because his mask was on, but you were sure he probably looked angry.

"Listen, I'll explain. You must already know that I'm a killer Creepymon myself, so I was just doing what any other normal Creepymon would do; kill people..." She began. "Little did I know that the police were right around the corner of that particular house I was at, this night of all nights, and they heard the screams of my victim. That's why I had to scram, and that's how I saw you two heading in the direction of where I was running from, so I had to grab you with me, knowing that you're a Creepymon and you a Creepymon trainer. They would've seen you both and accused you on the spot."

"You're just lucky it wasn't the guard that was out there," Hoodie grumbled, leaning against the building you were next to and beginning to run his arm nervously. "I know you must be mad at me for surprising you like that, but I had to get us to safety," Nurse Lydia said to him calmly, but he shook head and flinched as his other hand touched his arm. "N-No no, thank you for that..." He mumbled, clutching his chest and bending over in what looked like pain. You immediately remember Hoodie and Laughing Jack's injuries and shake Nurse Lydia's arm in alarm.

"My Creepymon got injured during a small encounter at an inn, and Hoodie mostly doesn't seem to be doing to well. You think you can get us inside M.A.C.M and heal them?"

"Of course," Nurse Lydia said, "but to get back we're gonna have to keep a low profile around so we don't wind up getting caught by anyone. You two stay close to me."

"Actually, {Y/n} can put me back inside my Killersphere. I don't think I can keep going for much longer," Hoodie murmured, barely being able to stand at this point. He was still dripping blood on the ground; who knows how much he'd lost at this point. You nod and retrieve Hoodie's Killersphere then turn to him and call him back. "Return, Hoodie."

Once he was gone, you place his sphere back in your backpack but another sphere accidentally rolled out and it rolled to Nurse Lydia's side. She picked up the ball and examined it curiously, twirling it around in her hands. "Is this Laughing Jack?" She asked, eventually handing you back the Killersphere. You take a close look at it and recognize a large knife mark imbedded in the black paint and shake your head, "This is Jeff The Killer. I caught him this morning."

Nurse Lydia's head crooked and you looked at her in concern. "...What?" She shook her head with an uneasy laugh, "Nothing, it's just...be careful with that Creepymon. He's quite...hard to handle." You shook your head and laughed, putting away Jeff's Killersphere, "I figured that may be a possibility from the start."

Nurse Lydia smiles and takes your hand once you have put zipped up your bag and put it on. Then, she makes sure there are no signs of police or people around before the both of you take off into the direction for the Creepymon center.

You sat silently in the dark waiting room of the MACM, trying not to fall asleep as Nurse Lydia was in the back rooms tending to Laughing Jack and Hoodie.

Your eyes felt heavy with sleep; you had been wide awake ever since Jeff The Killer had attacked you and your Creepymon and then the frenzy of trying to run and hide from the cops with Nurse Lydia had also occurred. You felt as if you had almost no energy left.

"Go...To...Sleep..."

The words snapped in your head making you jump in fright, thinking that someone was behind you ready to stab you to death. Then you breathed and relaxed, seeing that no one was there, and you remembered those were the words of Jeff before the tussle happened and you were able to catch him, so he wasn't able to hurt you now.

    Or at least you hoped.

You reached hesitantly into your backpack and slowly took out Jeff' The Killer's Killersphere, because you didn't want to sleep and you had nothing else to do while your other two Creepymon were gone.

"So, this is Jeff," You whispered to the sphere, bringing it close to your face. "My name is {Y/n}, and I really hope we can become friends...you know, like how me and Hoodie and Jack are? Let's say we forget about what happened earlier...and introduce ourselves properly this time. What do you say?"

After staring at the ball for a minute, you took a deep breath and tossed it onto the ground, releasing the killer.

Jeff's form slowly appeared, still rugged and unsettling as before. Once he fully appeared, he began looking around curiously at his surroundings. You froze when he finally turned around and his wide eyes met yours.

"....Sup Jeff...?" You utter, standing up from the bench and reaching out your hand. "Nice to meet you?"

Jeff crooked his head at you and he glared at your outstretched hand like you were trying to hand him trash. "If you're expecting some sort of amiable greeting from me in return, you can stand there disappointed because you're not getting it. Quit pretending you're not fucking afraid of me with the whole 'nice act'."

"But I'm not acting. I'm like seriously hoping me and you could become friends—"

"Friends?" Jeff spat aloud, making you jump back in alarm, and he scoffed as if he'd expected you to react in that way. "We can't be friends. We never will be. I'm a fucking murderer and you're just a stupid innocent, running around trying to 'capture' us and make a huge fool of yourself and us. Just because you caught me doesn't mean I have to obey you and it doesn't mean I can't kill you at any given moment. I refuse to be kept as your...your pet."

You feel real awful after hearing this and turn your head away from Jeff, feeling ashamed. But then you remember that in your heart, Creepymon weren't pets to you, nor were they just murderous bloodthirsty killers. You had a passion for them now, and you wanted them to join you as you raised them in a team, so that one day, you alongside with them may become the greatest team ever.

You slowly turn back to Jeff and get up from the bench, this time forcing yourself to walk confidently towards him. Jeff heard your footsteps coming and spun around, flipping out his knife, pointing it at you, "Get away from me..."

You freeze, glaring at the knife, then at Jeff. You take a deep breath and start towards him again, reaching out and calmly grasping his hand with the knife. Before Jeff could react, you raise a finger at him and mutter, "Let me speak."

"I don't have to listen to you, bit—"

"Let me speak, Jeff! Hear me out; I'm not in this whole trainer thing to drag you guys around as pets. I want us to grow stronger together as a team so that one day we'll be the best Creepymon team ever, you get me? I want you guys to put as much trust in me as much as I put trust in you. I trust you with my life. You should be able to see how much I trust you right now by me by being able to stand here and talk to you, despite the fact that you nearly killed me and my friends before. Despite the fact that you look like you're about to kill me right now, heh...."

Jeff slightly tilted his head at you, and you assumed you still had his attention. "I don't want you to think of me as some kind of master or something crazy like that. I'm going to be your trainer and your friend, and we're going to one day defeat the strongest Creepymon party and claim the title for ourselves. As a team. Do you understand me?"

Jeff didn't move, but he looked as if he was in deep thought. After a while, he sighed loudly and flicked your hand off of him. You saw the hostility in his eyes slightly die down, and he half-heartedly muttered, "I really hate you, but I take you up on what you said. I hope you mean what you say, woman." You raise an eyebrow and begin to smile at him until he turned his back to you and exclaimed, "Still doesn't mean I'm gonna do what you tell me to do."

You pause before sighing annoyance and decide to just leave Jeff The Killer alone. You now really understood what Nurse Lydia meant by Jeff being "hard to handle". But how did she know?

You take a seat back on the bench and decide to get a little rest until Hoodie and Laughing Jack returned from their medical attention with Nurse Lydia. However, you remembered Jeff was still standing right by the front desk playing around with his bloody knife, and decide not to go to sleep after all.

You try to find a way to keep yourself from falling asleep, messing around with your fingers and noming on some crackers you had in your backpack, but your eyes would drearily close and flutter back open despite your attempts.

"I can't take this anymore...I'll just have rest a bit and hope Jeff doesn't end me while I'm at it. After all, I want to give him the same trust I give Hoodie and LJ," You thought, finally relaxing and laying your head down on your soft backpack. "Yea...I want to...be able to...trust...him......zzzzzzzz...."

In no time flat, you were fast asleep, and Jeff who wasn't paying any attention to you before only now caught sight of you snoring away. With his slit smile spreading wider on his face, he slowly creeped his way over to you, his knife swinging in his bloody hand.

"Yes, that's it. Go to sleep, that's very good," He cooed, approaching you silently and ducking beside the bench. He steadily raised the knife above your shoulder area and his neck cracked to the side as he softly began to chuckle.

"Sleep well, my so called 'friend'. Since you say you'll trust me, I've decided I'll try and trust you. I'll make sure you wake up to see another day. You're only lucky I'm doing this, this time..."

Jeff then gently placed the knife beside your arm and backed away with his same twisted smile. "Now, you have my knife, so you'll be sure I can't hurt you." He watched sleeping for a moment, then lowered his head and whispered, "Not ever again..."

You awoke to the rough shaking of your shoulders and slowly sit up in annoyance. "What the hell do you want Grinny Cat!?" You snap grumpily, not even looking to see who it was and thinking you were at home again. Slowly opening your eyes, you see a tall black and white clown and a yellow hooded, masked male standing before you.

"Grinny Cat...? Wake up lassie, it's us," Laughing Jack said, reaching out and shaking your shoulders again. "We're all healed now, we can head out again," Hoodie added. "Oh Jack...Hoodie...sorry about that. I'm glad you two are okay," You say, rubbing your eyes and getting up off the bench.

Something clatters on the floor beside you and look and bend to pick up Jeff's bloody knife. "Uh oh, why's Jeff's knife here? Where is he anyways??"

You remember having left him out of his Killersphere before you went to sleep and immediately regret doing so. "How much do you guys want to bet the psycho ran away?"

"Fifty," Hoodie muttered. "Uhhh Sixty-nine?" Laughing Jack guessed a random number.

"You guys are a bunch of asshats. What makes you think I'd ever leave without my knife?" A voice growled from above, and the three of you looked up to see Jeff hanging from the rafters on the ceiling. "Hah, losers," Jeff scoffed again, this time swinging from off the bar and landing on the ground in front of you. He quickly swiped the knife from your hand and gave you a hard stare.

"Ok great, you're still here. Thanks for sticking around," You say with a relieved expression. "Whatever, can we just get a move on? I hate these weird hospital places, never anything to do here but wait for something."

"Not the patient type, I see. I can already tell I won't be looking forwards to journeying beside you," Hoodie remarked, crossing his arms at Jeff. "He looks like fun to me. Maybe this one'll be interesting..." Laughing Jack said, giving Jeff a curious grin. "How about the both of you fuck off ," Jeff growled, looking ready to hit one of them.

"Okayyyy guys, let's save the energy for when we come across a new Creepymon. Are you all ready to leave?" You say, picking up your backpack and slinging it on your back. The three nod and you begin to lead the way out the doors of the MACM. "Goodbye you four. Good luck on your journey!" Nurse Lydia called out, waving you off as you left.

A grin formed on your face as you stepped out in the dimly lit sky where the sun had only recently risen. It could barely be seen by the number of dark gray clouds in the sky, signifying that it might rain on this gloomy looking day. Regardless, you were excited to continue on adventuring, hoping to find a new ally to gain on your team and have new experiences on your journey to become the best.
