Beautiful women that died in ancient Egypt had to be left to decay a bit before being embalmed to prevent necrophilia.

When a man died in Egypt, he was embalmed right away, however if a beautiful or powerful woman died, by law, she had to be left to decay for a few days due to the fact they didn't trust the embalmers to keep their hands to themselves. They had a reason though: once, an embalmer left in charge of mummifying a royal body was caught in the act of necrophilia by a coworker, who ratted him out.
