Chapter II
The young man had laid lazily on the couch as he waited for the man whom he presumed to be Logan, tried to explain his way out of looking as if he were a racist.
Why had he not spoken up or shown the other what Logan was talking about?- Well, he was the original family disappointment.
As the other two bickered over what was true or false from the traits of the young man, said man sat up from sprawling out on the couch and pulled a small baggie from his pocket. "Well, if you two are going to continue arguing over my traits..."
The young man dumped the small baggie that contained a variety of pills into his palm and right after popped them into his mouth. "I'll be on my way."
Patton then jumped and swiftly yet excitedly walked over to the young man in a sad attempt to get him to stay. "No- No, please, stay!"
He had crossed his arms and glared at each of the men standing before him. "Why should I?" Virgil had unknowingly appeared behind The Youngman but he remained out of sight from the others.
The Youngman had sighed and whispered to Virgil the moment he had realized he was there; "Do you know these guys?" The question had confused the others, there was no one there but the three of them... so they thought.
Virgil hesitated, but he nodded as he began to tell his brother of how he met the men in front of him and what life he had with them, he wanted to- but he didn't leave out Roman...
Logan and Patton just looked amongst each other confused as The Youngman didn't even bother to hide his reaction to Virgil. To the others, it just looked as if he was talking to himself.
The Youngman simply took a deep breath before stating: "You knew my brother." The others nodded but said nothing as they awaited The Youngmans reaction.
The Youngman simply turned to leave as he popped some more pills, causing his already bloodshot eyes to slowly grow a darker red. "Who else knew him and take me to them."
Virgil groaned as he watched his brother poison himself: "You really need to stop taking those drugs." The Youngman shook his head and walked out the door. "Sobriety is super overrated."
Logan and Patton just blinked as they watched the man in a Hawaiian shirt and super tight, silky, black pants walk out the door. He seemed to talk to himself a lot and he looked as if he'd had some rough times through his porcelain skin and dark circles under his eyes, he had so little weight it seemed as though his skin was just laying on his bones... not healthy indeed.
The Youngman peered through the door and glared at Patton and Logan. "You hoes coming?"
Logan smiled and motioned for Patton to go first- "After you." Patton simple gave Logan a soft smile as he walked out the door.
The Youngman had already been in the car when they walked out, he was slouched in the front seat, just staring out the window. Virgil was in the middle of the backseat, lecturing his brother about his use of pills and other things when Logan and Patton got in the car.
Logan decided to drive to Romans house, assuming he had been there. The ride was particularly silent with exception of a few questions here and there.
Logan cleared his throat to try and release the awkwardness that lurked behind it and everyone was well aware. "So, why are you in town? I mean- Virgil never mentioned you and we've never seen you around..."
Virgil's eyes widened at the question and the truth that lied behind it... He knew his brother well, but his reaction to questions like this was always different.
The Youngman simply huffed as kept his gaze out the window. "Simply for business." That was a lie, he and Virgil knew it.
Logan just nodded, finding peace within the answer. "Oh."
