Minnow was heading out to one of the meetings with King Mako

She would normally go with her sister Aquamarine but she was out dealing with

Their leaders were conflicted on what they would do with Aquamarine Mako wanted to let her go back to her position and Manta wanted to lock her up for treason

She came into the cavern where they held the meetings

Mako was yet to show up

Maybe he was being careful he was undermining Manta his mate after all

She had wondered why they were even mate's anyway

Manta never had anything from becoming mate's with Mako

Her king came in with another Tidestream she learned to be Dolphin

She looked a bit worried

It was obvious something was going on with her

"Hi Dolphin how are you?" Minnow asked

"I'm doing well" she replied

"Just a bit tired" she added

Dolphin went and exchanged a look with Mako and he gave a small nod

"I'm with egg" she told Minnow

"Oh my that's quite the news" Minnow replied

"I know" Dolphin aggred

"But let's get to the topic on claw how to stop the war my...sister is so involved in" Mako told the group

The Tidestream's shared their own sign language that they could use while underwater or if they needed to talk on a stealth mission and not be heard

Murmurs went around the group

"Sister who?"

"Another royal"

"Seriously why haven't we learned of who this is?"

Mako looked around at the now confused group

"As you are obviously wondering who my sister is she is Manta we have been ruling together and that is the reason why we disagree so often because siblings always disagree" Mako told the group

Snickers and giggles rose from that

"So ture" another Tidestream aggred

Mako waited for the giggles to fade before he began again

"I am beginning to arrange a meeting with King Swoop about ending this war and we both have decided that we want dragons from both tribes to mediate it so neither tribe has the higher power over the other and I would like to know who would be willing to join me?" Mako asked the group

"You know I would love to but I don't want to risk the meeting falling into battle" Dolphin replied

"I am willing to join you and hopefully end this war" she answered

She wanted to end this war as much as the next dragon to her

"And I well make sure no one well be harmed in this meeting" Mako said

"Then I'll join you" Dolphin replied

"Then you two well be the one's to join me" Mako stated

"Only two?" Dolphin asked

"Yes me Manta and you two" Mako answered

"When are we going?" Minnow asked

"When I manage to get Manta to aggre to not attack the Featherscale's so we can have a peaceful meeting" Mako answered

"That's good because we don't want to hurt the Featherscale's" Dolphin replied

The meeting ended not long after that

She swam out of the underwater cavern

The light from the sun glowed into the Tidestream town and their palace was deeper down from the town

She swam through the town and heading out to hunt

She swished her tail letting herself blast forward while using her ability

She swam off and grabbed fish as she swam past

She slowed down as she ate the fish

Once she was done she used her tail to turn herself around to swim back home

She didn't need many fish to eat before she headed home

And kinda unfortunately my creature that I'm bonded with is a minnow a natural food of a TideStream

She flapped her wings to try to speed herself up a bit more

She launched herself out of the water

The wind blew across her scales

And she landed back in the water swimming deeper down

She enjoyed leaping up like that kinda like a dolphin

She hadn't known that Mako wasn't mate's with Manta but instead his sister

Dolphin came up to join her

"Hey you want to go on a swim with me?" Dolphin asked

"Sure I'd love to join you" Minnow answered

And the duo swam together

"Mako's moving me to your squadron cause Manta is taking Dew off your team" Dolphin told her

"Thank the oceans above your a amazing dragon and Dew horrid" Minnow replied

"I'm glad your happy" Dolphin said and smiled

"What do you think life we be like after this war ends" Minnow asked

She tilted her head slightly as she asked the question

"I don't know" Dolphin replied

There was a coral reef on the opposite side of their island

They swam back to the town after a while

She swam down to her house and into it

She had a few water proof books for a bit of writing she enjoyed to do

But she just didn't have the motivation to work on it today

She swam through the house to her bedroom

Her bed was made of seaweed and she swam over and curled up on the bed

She swam out of the house she had slept in accidentally and so she was going to get to the squadron leader meeting late

She flicked her tail quickly

She was trying get there as quick as possible

She got there as Manta was beginning

She called out where each squadron would be

"Minnow Dew is leaving your Squadron in trade for Dolphin and you well be guarding the island today" Manta told her

"Of course your highness" she replied

Her Squadron was waiting outside for her

"We ready to go" she asked

"Well Dew's not here yet" Cod replied

"And he won't be he got traded out for Dolphin" Minnow told her squadron

They too were happy to be rid of Dew's annoyance

"Let's go we're patrolling our island today" Minnow told them

"Yeah with the empty prison" Cod added

Dolphin had swam out from her place and had fell in behind

They walked along the beach

They had been catching signs that other dragons were coming and stealing from their island

And they were trying to fugue out who, but the talon prints didn't smell of dragon they always smelled of the plants of the island

"What if the intruder is living on the island and using the plants to hide their sent" Cod wondered

"That would be a pretty interesting reason on why but sorry Cod I just doubt that is the case" Minnow replied

Then she saw a pair of eyes watching them from the shadow of the forest

She nodded to them and they began to creep up on the strange dragon

They entered the forest. After they got a decent ways in they got attacked by...Rosewings?!

"What are Flowershine territory" the lead dragon growled

"It's what your doing on our island" she growled back

"W-What are you going to do with us?" Dolphin asked

"It's up to Tulip to decide what" the lead dragon told them

And they led the Tidestream squadron through the forest not even making a effort to use their ability to move the plants to make it easier for themselves

They eventually got to a village

She had just realized something no Rosewing here was male they had all been female

"Daisy what is this?" Another Rosewing came out asking the question to the led dragon of there group

"They are intruders and you always know the best way to deal with them" Daisy answered

"Of course I do and I'm also your leader and the descent of our-" the new Rosewing began

"We all are descended from Lily" Daisy interrupted

"Wasn't that a Queen of the Rosewings?" Cod asked

"A Queen of the what now?" Daisy asked

"Rosewings aren't you all Rosewings tho?" Cod replied

"No we are Flowershines and I am the leader around here Tulip" She answered

"Lily wasn't a Folwershine she was a Rosewing" Minnow argued

She had slipped Dolphin to the middle of the group with the squadron under orders to protect Dolphin if a fight was to break out, they didn't know why but they'd still do what their captain told them to do

"We mostly just wanted to know why supplies of ours were disappearing we don't want any problems with you and I'm sure we can get our King to at least aggre to not attack I'm not sure about our Queen tho" Minnow told them

Tulip at least thought about it for a moment

"You lead dragon come with me" Tulip told her

And she followed her into what she guessed was Tulips office

She saw a long fang with a spiral design on it laying on the desk

"That is a trophy from our last victory" Tulip told her

"The dragon ended up running after poisoning one of my dragons with his fangs" she added

"Are they alright" Minnow asked

"They are getting worse by the day but luckily it's not spreading to the healers. We weren't sure if this poison would" Tulip answered "But you said we may be able to negotiate peace?" Tulip asked

"Maybe" Minnow answered

"I'd rather not have to lead my family into war" Tulip replied

"Your family?" Minnow asked

"Yes all the Flowershines are related" Tulip answered

"Oh so your tribe is also your family?" Minnow asked

"Yes now what about what I'm saying needs me to repeat myself" Tulip asked

"I've just never heard of a tribe that was all family" Minnow answered

"Well now you have" Tulip replied

"Yeah that's true" Minnow aggred

"Now if your King aggres to meet me we well hold the discussion on the beach I don't want yet another dragon learning about the location of my tribes village" Tulip told her

"Okay I'll make sure he knows what truly is going on with you" Minnow replied

"Just don't tell them of my tribes location" Tulip growled

"I won't I promise" Minnow replied

And she let them leave to go report to King Mako

Cod was looking off into the distance and he looked back to say something to her

"Did I say I saw Aqua recently?" Cod asked

"No you did not" Minnow answered

"Well I did well I was out at the market island" Cod said

"Did you tell her that Queen Manta well have dragons throw her in prison if they see her for treason" Minnow asked

"No...I forgot" Cod answered

"We'll have to next time we see her" Minnow replied

They leapt into the water when they got to the right side and swam down to the palace to report to Mako then Manta after but she wanted a safe route for Tulip and her family

"You guys can head off" Minnow told the group

Most of her Squadron left Dolphin stayed tho

"I'm guessing your staying to help explain?"

Dolphin nodded

"That and Mako is my mate" she replied

"Oh!"

She had been wondering who the father to her dragonet

And together they swam the rest way to the palace

"Something special happen. You don't normally come to report to me" Mako asked

"Yeah we found a large family of Rosewings that call themselves the Flowershines" Dolphin answered

"And their leader is willing to meet with you" Minnow added

"I'll them after I get my sister to be Peaceful with this" Mako replied

"It always is after you get Manta to peaceful with things" Dolphin commented

"I know she is a bloodthirsty dragon after all" Mako aggred

"Well that's the most true thing I've ever heard about Manta" Minnow said with a giggle

"Indeed" Dolphin aggred

Dew was a Palace guard and so happened to make the conversation come to an abrupt end

"Hey I thought you were supposed to be out on patrol" Dew growled

He shoved past Dolphin causing her to fail around in the water for a little bit to regain her balance

"We finished already Dew" Minnow replied

They had the same level of authority but Dew already seemed to act like he was in charge of everything

"And I'd rather not have you shoving Dolphin around" Mako growled to Dew

He looked back and glared at her

He was obviously not going to be giving her any respect

Then he swam back out his tail hit into Dolphin's side

"I don't get why Manta ever gave him such a position" Mako wondered

"I don't know either" Dolphin replied

"You may go Minnow" Mako told her

She nodded and swam out

She manged to dodge Dew on his rounds

She swam out to catch up to Cod

She wanted to spend some time him he was fun to hang out with

"Hey wanna go out for a hunt with me?" She asked him

"Sure" Cod answered

they swam out and they went after a school of tuna

They swam in grabbing the tuna and then swam back out

And after they got a fair amount

They found a small place to eat

It was a clearing with a coral reef around it

The tuna so happened to not be fully dead so the way there she had wriggling fish in her jaws and she was pretty sure Cod did too

Once their talons touched the soft underwater sand with the few rocks here and there

They made sure their lunch was not alive before they ate it

"Do you think Queen Manta well launch an attack on Tulip and the Flowershines anyway?" Cod asked

He was scared for the Folwershine family's survival

"I don't know. Hopefully she can keep things reasonable" Minnow replied

Cod was swishing his tail as he did when he was worried except this time it was kicking up sand and pebbles and tossing them into their food

She knew he wasn't doing it on purpose and that it was just a nervous habit

"Careful Cod if you keep swishing your tail about your tuna well be too covered up in sand to look appealing or even taste good" she told him

His tail suddenly flicked to a stop as she spoke

"Sorry" he apologized

"No worries I know you didn't mean to" she replied

She stole the last of his fish and swam off

"If you want it back your going to have to catch me first!"

She swam and she held the fish remains close to her chest

She slipped through the reef

She was a naturally small dragon despite her age so she could slip into spaces most dragons couldn't like say small out coves in a coral reef if you wanted to hide something after you stole it

Tho Cod was still young enough to be able to fit into where she was hiding

She turned her head back to her goods, they were gone Cod had slipped in stole them back and slipped out without her knowledge

She let out a small laugh and swam out of her hiding spot

To find Dew waiting for her with Cod at his side

"Queen Manta well want the report too you know" Dew told her

She rolled her eyes

"I only need to tell one of the leaders they'll pass on the report to the other Well Mako maybe I don't know about Manta" She replied

She was tired of him trying to boss her around

"I'm going to be commander one day you should realize that and get used to listening to what I say" Dew told her

"And turtles well fly" she replied and swam away

And she heard Cod as he swam after her

They had just annoyed Dew and now they needed to get away from him cause they did not want to deal with him while he was angry

He was a strong and farce but they could easily out pace him

They got quickly into town and slowed down so not to draw unneeded attention to themselves

Dew was still trailing them tho

"Hey you should at least see if there is more Queen Manta wants from you" he told the duo

"Can't we have one afternoon off to enjoy ourselves especially if another big battle is coming up" Minnow replied

"Fine but I well be reporting this to Queen Manta since your not doing as your told" Dew informed them

"Yeah cause your her little spy" Cod shot back

"I am not her little spy" Dew growled

They had really annoyed Dew now

They blasted up out of the water and took off flying to see what was going on at the market island
